I wasn't sure which hotel to book, so I did some thorough research. At first, I was hesitant because the price was so low, but I can confidently say that this hotel is absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect and feels very safe. The hotel was clean and immaculate, and the bedding was very comfortable. My room had a large TV and a fridge, and the air conditioning unit had a remote control, allowing me to set the temperature to my liking. The staff was incredibly helpful with touring inquiries every day. Security was also reassuring; you either had to be buzzed in or use your key card to access the building. Despite being the least expensive hotel option, I genuinely believe that even if they charged triple, it would still be worth it!zed in or use your key card to access the building. Selected this property based on location and price for a 2 day stay in Santiago. It’s different, think high school locker room meets steam punk. Bed was king size and supremely comfortable. Refrigerator provided. Some downsides, AC is central and runs all the time and is noisy but kept the room at the desired temperature. Rooms and hallways are DARK, even with all of the lights on. Cement floors not for everyone. Water pressure and temperature was good but a full 3-4 minutes to get hot water and shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Coffee in room is not free. Overall I enjoyed my stay and staff was very helpful.

Bad bad on every single aspect of the way. Too much to number. Unfortunately, when I booked for the second time it was before knowing the hotel conditions, lack of professionalism and disrespect. Like not knowing when the only elevator would be repaired. The lack of knowledge from the PM crew. The lack of communication between staff AM and PM staff. The AM crew was much better than the PM crew. Specially, when I asked for body soap which the bathroom doesn’t provide. The administrator, I think his name is Claudio, told me it was the way it was because of the “owners”. He also questioned me about the administration in hotels in one of my countries, I have double nationality, I answered him that maybe in some are even worse. His treatment was very disrespectful. Frank was the one who helped me and by his own initiative he brought me soap. The last night of my stay I was awaken at 1 am because Valentina forgot the time I requested a taxi to the airport .

Really dark. Needs more lights. Something (elevator I think) made a low drone and shake all the time. Could hear water from pipes too. Maid came to clean adjacent room at 4am! You could hear her move thru every room. You could here the elevators loud ding everytime it landed on a floor. I really should wait to see if they return the deposit. And if the return attempt didn't charge me once again. They had cleaning ladies (no English) doing this. Seemed to be having problems. As you can see I got little sleep here. You dont need these hassles. Spend the extra 5 bucks.

ABSOLUTE SCAM! DO NOT STAY HERE! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. The room had mold in the shower and smelled like a dirty dish rag. The fridge was full of the last guest’s half eaten food and drinks. We didn’t think much of it, since we wouldn’t be using fridge. But when we checked out the staff claimed we’d eaten a bunch of mini bar items. We didn’t even know there was a minibar! Staff were extremely rude, demanding cash, and grabbing at my wallet from my hands. I had no way to prove it wasn’t us and he refused to allow us to leave without paying for the items we didn’t eat/drink. I had no choice but to pay so we could get to the airport on time. Then the staff member took my cash and pocketed it!!! Total scam!! Horrible experience, with thieving and lying staff!!!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I had a weird arrival time due to my flight being a red eye, but they were responsive with communications and I checked in with no issue. The location is VERY convenient. Close to plaza de Armas, shopping, many dining options, and only two blocks from the Santa Lucia station. Only 15 minutes walk to Cerro San Cristobal. The biggest bonus was Cerro Santa Lucia was right next to it. It was only about 18 minutes on Uber from the airport. The room was clean, and it was nice to have a fridge. Bathroom looked new. Modern. The only disappointment was, the day I asked them to service my room, it wasn’t. Also the shower temperature was unstable, but it was not a huge issue. Otherwise they were accommodating and helpful, and I recommend this place for travelers. Great value. I am a female solo traveler but I never felt unsafe in the area.

Vale muito a pena!

I stayed at hotel Sommelier Loft for three nights while exploring Santiago. It is situated in a great location and I found it easy walking distance to most attractions in the inner city. The hotel seems quite new, so it is very clean and well organised. My room was a good size and the bathroom was particularly spacious. The staff at the front desk were helpful. The hotel has quite an industrial theme. There is street art style decoration and the pipework is all exposed. I liked the design but there is low level noise that comes from the pipework that is noticeable at night. I thought overall my stay was great and that the hotel was good value.

Great location, staff friendly, reasonable price, a little too dark the room but was a good stay. As mentioned in other posts the shower hit water took long time to arrive but not at issue given its summer and a refreshing start was not bad.

O quarto é muito espaçoso e limpo. Mas o isolamento acústico não é tão bom e a rua é muito barulhenta isso pode atrapalhar o sono. O café da manhã é entregue no quarto todo dia com pequenas porções sem variedade e sem a possibilidade de repetir algum item. O atendimento é bom. Mas no check out tentaram me cobrar algo que não consumi. No check in você é obrigado a fazer um depósito de 50 dólares, mesmo com a estadia toda paga. Enfim ele é super bem localizado e fácil acesso ao centro, certo Santa Lucía e San Cristóbal, Bella Vista e Lastarria.

ABSOLUTE SCAM! DO NOT STAY HERE! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. The room had mold in the shower and smelled like a dirty dish rag. The fridge was full of the last guest’s half eaten food and drinks. We didn’t think much of it, since we wouldn’t be using fridge. But when we checked out the staff claimed we’d eaten a bunch of mini bar items. We didn’t even know there was a minibar! Staff were extremely rude, demanding cash, and grabbing at my wallet from my hands. I had no way to prove it wasn’t us and he refused to allow us to leave without paying for the items we didn’t eat/drink. I had no choice but to pay so we could get to the airport on time. Then the staff member took my cash and pocketed it!!! Total scam!! Horrible experience, with thieving and lying staff!!!!

Bad bad on every single aspect of the way. Too much to number. Unfortunately, when I booked for the second time it was before knowing the hotel conditions, lack of professionalism and disrespect. Like not knowing when the only elevator would be repaired. The lack of knowledge from the PM crew. The lack of communication between staff AM and PM staff. The AM crew was much better than the PM crew. Specially, when I asked for body soap which the bathroom doesn’t provide. The administrator, I think his name is Claudio, told me it was the way it was because of the “owners”. He also questioned me about the administration in hotels in one of my countries, I have double nationality, I answered him that maybe in some are even worse. His treatment was very disrespectful. Frank was the one who helped me and by his own initiative he brought me soap. The last night of my stay I was awaken at 1 am because Valentina forgot the time I requested a taxi to the airport .

The front desk almost always has English speaking staff. They are always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient location and pretty safe. It’s very clean. They also did a big favor to let me shower before boarding a night flight. Thank you!

The hotel room was very spacious but not one staff member spoke English it wasn’t the best experience you would think someone would be able to speak English and they are always on their phone so getting their attention is challenging but the hotel itself was wonderful and great and their a great restaurant next door

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I had a weird arrival time due to my flight being a red eye, but they were responsive with communications and I checked in with no issue. The location is VERY convenient. Close to plaza de Armas, shopping, many dining options, and only two blocks from the Santa Lucia station. Only 15 minutes walk to Cerro San Cristobal. The biggest bonus was Cerro Santa Lucia was right next to it. It was only about 18 minutes on Uber from the airport. The room was clean, and it was nice to have a fridge. Bathroom looked new. Modern. The only disappointment was, the day I asked them to service my room, it wasn’t. Also the shower temperature was unstable, but it was not a huge issue. Otherwise they were accommodating and helpful, and I recommend this place for travelers. Great value. I am a female solo traveler but I never felt unsafe in the area.

I wasn't sure which hotel to book, so I did some thorough research. At first, I was hesitant because the price was so low, but I can confidently say that this hotel is absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect and feels very safe. The hotel was clean and immaculate, and the bedding was very comfortable. Hotel com ótimo custo/benefício, apesar de ser no centro foi super tranquilo. Muito perto da estação de metrô, do cerro Santa Lucia e do bairro Lastarria. O quarto do hotel conta com frigobar, ar condicionado, serviço de quarto, secador de cabelo e produtos de higiene. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. Recomendo a estadia.

Excelente custo-benefício. Quarto amplo, boa localização e café-da-manhã de qualidade servido todas as manhãs. O único ponto negativo é que o wi-fi oscilava em nosso quarto que ficava em uma das extremidades (mas o problema foi resolvido após reclamação).

O quarto é muito espaçoso e limpo. Mas o isolamento acústico não é tão bom e a rua é muito barulhenta isso pode atrapalhar o sono. O café da manhã é entregue no quarto todo dia com pequenas porções sem variedade e sem a possibilidade de repetir algum item. O atendimento é bom. Mas no check out tentaram me cobrar algo que não consumi. No check in você é obrigado a fazer um depósito de 50 dólares, mesmo com a estadia toda paga. Enfim ele é super bem localizado e fácil acesso ao centro, certo Santa Lucía e San Cristóbal, Bella Vista e Lastarria.

It was great to have breakfast delivered to the room as part of the stay. The location was perfect, walkable to all parts of downtown that you would want to see. Easy to grab train and bus to get to airport.

I also stayed at the Loft back in 2025. Back then breakfast was not included but there was a great espresso machine and pods free for use. This year, the Loft now offers breakfast to your room but now you have to pay for each pod about $5 each. Ridiculous! And the breakfast was a basket of bread (heavy on the carbs) slices of cheese and ham and salami. juice and coffee. It was an OK breakfast (a hard boiled egg would have been nice). I would have been happier having the use of a free espresso machine and going to one of the many venues in the neighborhood for breakfast. But I do like the location and the funky decor in the rooms.
