The hotel advertises a poolside bar but in reality it is only open Th, Fr, S and only from 5-10pm which is likely after you will be at the pool. Also, the trolley cars going by ring there bells nonstop so if you are a light sleeper good luck

Nice big room and bathroom. Breakfast area was spacious and clean. Rooftop bar is not always staff on hours they post, so ask ahead of time.

Rooftop bar and swimming pool with comfortable seating arrangements and beautiful and well equipped exercise equipment in your gym was beyond my expectations. Keep up the good work!

Hyatt Place and Hyatt House are within the same building which was a little confusing at first. Check-in for both is at the same reception desk. Parking is right off the hotel, in the parking structure next door, they do charge per night so just keep that in mind. Not a big deal as most hotels in the area charge for parking now. The staff was friendly and welcoming, very helpful. Its always appreciated to be welcomed in. The room hotel and room itself were nicely kept, you can tell it is a newer hotel in the area. Of course they have breakfast in the morning during the week until 9am, weekends 10am. Nothing special, generic breakfast foods. My reason for not giving the hotel 5 stars is the noise. While yes, I understand the hotel can only do so much to control external noise, the location itself doesn’t help. The light rail runs literally right next to the hotel. I was on the 5th floor and I could hear it go by all night long. The even numbered rooms are located along the same side the light rail is. Request an odd numbered room to be on the interior, it may be better. The street noise is also a factor being that the hotel is in an area that is highly commuted. Lastly, the AC unit is loud, I mean louder then it should be. Overall, its a good hotel, its just not a good place for a good night's rest, unless you're a heavy sleeper.

Great hotel and stay. Public transportation is within feet, shopping is less than a mile away, restaurants around the block. Clean hotel, bar area is clean and new looking. Fitness center is nice, clean. My high school kids enjoyed the Fitness Center. Love the pool view and area. The pool is super small but it’s roof top. My kids loved the small pool. The night employee was super friendly to my family. He made us feel welcomed along with the Hispanic female worker. ALL staff was great! I would say again!!

Love the property. It has a pool, rooftop bar, and great breakfast. My only conplaint was having to pay for parking in the parking garage.

Very convenient location. Parking is in the ASU self park. The room key worked for it but it still cost 15 bucks a day.

Great location across from ASU. Great restaurants are within walking distance. The front desk staff was helpful. The rooms are clean. The only downside is no on-site parking. They do have a garage you can park in but it’s $16 a day to use it. Unfortunately my rental was a 3/4ton truck so navigating a parking garage was cumbersome but manageable.

The air conditioner barely put out an air and was incredibly noisy, the faucet in the bathroom only dispensed hot water and was loose in the sink, one of my wash clothes had a spot of blood on it. Just overall not what I’d expect from a Hyatt Property.

The pool could use more cleaning perhaps

When you see a rooftop pool with a bar and a restaurant you assume that the pool can accommodate more than five people however this pool was about 10 x 10 and it was packed full and it was not very clean. We actually left and went to a different hotel.

I like that it was near the stadium we needed to be at. However the pool was not kept, I’m a certified pool tech and I can tell the pool was not serviced in a long while. It was very murky. Also the breakfast bar was subpar. Wasn’t as nice as it looked in the picture when I booked. Lastly there was a sewer smell coming from drains in our bathroom. The water was also slimy. The beds felt like uncle festers bed in the Addams family movie. It felt like you just sink into the mattress. Overall was an okay stay.

Friendly staff, clean property

This hotel was very clean and had excellent service. It was right on the ASU campus so also very convenient. The included breakfast was also great. It’s worth nothing that there is a campus trolley/train that passes by the hotel often so if you are sensitive to noise this could bother you.

Clean

The room was a bit dirty with cup stains and stuff on the floor. The staff seemed rude, the girl who checked me in made a face when I handed her my id.

We had a few issues trying to get the a/c working, but it cooled off after a while. Our room was 76 degrees for several hours, and that felt pretty warm even after coming in from 103! The sofa bed was uncomfortable, but that is to be expected. There was a trolley stop right outside, but it didn’t wake us up, it was more that we noticed it when we were awake. The neighborhood was quiet otherwise. The breakfast was great!

The hotel is very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly. Would've gave five starts for everything except our A.C kept making a loud noise .The hotel did discount our room .

Nice, new, clean hotel. We stayed on the tram side of the road which you can hear pretty well all night long, even with earplugs. The AC made a consistent rattling noise all through the night the first night which made for a very sleepless night with or without the AC. Front desk was called the next day and the ac was repaired within a few hours. It is convenient to ASU which was why we were there. We would stay again on the quiet side.

Train was noisy, but everything else was good.

Spacious and very comfortable, clean rooms. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Great breakfast. Toilet paper is ridiculously thin - bring your own. Pool is the size of a large hot tub so don’t book for that alone. Great location. Would stay here again if the pool was larger. There was only room for one family at a time.

Hotel is next to the light rail tracks and they go by every 20-30 all night and ring bell/ blow horn.

WiFi was unavailable even after getting an alternate login password from the front desk. Made it hard to work while there.

Shower did not work properly and water temperature was inconsistent Luke warm some hot other times

Clean facility but will not stay here again. Way too noisy at night.

A superb place to stay when events are straight across the street. Everything was perfect until we started to leave and were struggling with the luggage cart at the door and a male staff member standing at door said “either in or out, we do t care which”. Didn’t offer to help but was just rude.

Amazing staff

The property was amazing! Great room & loved the rooftop deck with pool. The staff were nice but many of them were “new” and that’s exactly how they responded to questions or requests…I’m “new” I don’t know…no attempt to find the answer to what you need which was disappointing. We would definitely return and recommend this location but wish the staff cared more about the guests to figure it out and not respond with “I’m new, I don’t know”

Room service never came even after asking front desk. Kept asking if we declined room service which I kept saying no to.

Andrew (front desk was rude) I booked for king bed when I arrived and he offered 2 queens. I specifically booked for king and high top. He was rude and unprofessional. Not recommended.

This was another great Hyatt stay just in a different city. Front desk service is always friendly and accommodating. Things run smoothly and the wait to check in is short. Breakfast was fresh and quickly replenished. Thank you Hyatt Tempe/Phoenix.

We booked this hotel due to its proximity to a concert venue. The hotel was great and convenient walking distance to Mullet Arena. The included breakfast buffet was an added bonus.

Very convenient location to downtown Tempe. 5 min walk to the train, which goes to chase field and the airport. Mullet arena is a 2 minute walk away. Great breakfast, nice roof top patio, pool is very small but was never busy.

It is a very clean, updated, and comfortable room. The property is in excellent condition and centrally located super close to ASU venues

Next to the ASU campus, walkable to the trade Joe’s, cafes and restaurants. Workers are nice and helpful, will choose this hotel again when we go to ASU next time.

Great breakfast - nice it was complementary

Room clean, bed comfortable (not so much with the pillows). Breakfast was okay with good variety of choices.

The buffet breakfast that they offer is very plain and forgettable

I loved the pool at the top roof.. breakfast was really good, food from the H Bar was good as well. Bed's weren't that comfortable and no water for coffee.

Overall good place, but the free breakfast was actually terrible. Cold eggs, hard pancakes. Coffee was okay.

Good value and centrally located. It was a holiday weekend, so it was a nice getaway--only issues were that the pool restaurant was not open on Sunday, which was a bummer, and that there was only one elevator out of a possible four working.

Nice staff. The breakfast is great. Wish it stayed available longer during weekdays. The bar on the rooftop should be open for the morning games on football Sundays.
