Great stay.

Yes it was -simple but good

Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable. However, there are two issues I would like to mention. First, the gym only has 2 treadmills which is not enough. I arrived at 5:55 AM and still had to wait 30 minutes to use one. More equipment is needed. Second, when we arrived at check-in, our reservations could not be found in the system. The female staff member was unhelpful and indifferent. She simply told us to contact Hotels.com instead of trying to resolve the issue herself. We waited in the lobby for over 2 hours. This was unacceptable.

We picked this place because of the convenient location and nice staff, but for the price we paid, it just wasn't worth it. My room wasn't super clean with several long hairs in the bathroom and in my bed and a tiny speck of poop in the toilet. Water pressure in the shower sucked. My son's room had a bathroom sink with only scalding hot water. My brother's room had a couple of pieces of fruit on the floor. Our rooms were facing the main street, and it was noisy. Not sure the convenience and price were worth the other issues.

It was a nice enough hotel and the rooftop bar is a must-see. My beef with this property is that my room was clearly covered in pet dander and the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. I have severe allergies to both cats and dogs and didn’t realize this was a pet friendly hotel until I checked out and noticed the dog bowls in the lobby. That was on me. But the reaction I had to my room was next level. I suffered the entire stay and between the sneezing, swollen eyes and skin that felt like it was on fire, and the mattress that felt like it had been retrieved from a trash pile after being used for 20 years, I didn’t get more than 3 hours of sleep a night. It was absolute torture and I don’t think I could ever stay there again.
