The indoor pool & hot tub are major draws, the only hotel like this in St. Johnsbury. The kids enjoy the pool during the weekend days & can make a lot of noise but it is all your in the morning. The exercise room has all the equipment and the pool is next door.

The breakfast was good. It was quiet. Now the negatives. The hot tub was broke....there was no stopper in the tub for a bath...the windows looked likr they hadnt been cleaned in momths.... the pool table in the arcade was broken.

Kept 4 kids happy and entertained during a snowstorm! Amazing breakfast, staff is super nice and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The pool was wonderful too!

Everything was fine except there was food and drinks left in the refrigerator and the window was drafty. The room itself was spotless and comfortable. We were not able to use the pool which was disappointing.

There was black mold in our first room. It was in the corner with a water stain on the ceiling. My husband actually climbed up to look at it to be sure before we called the front desk immediately after we arrived. We were relocated but someone else was assigned that room soon afterwards. This room should not be used until the mold is properly removed, not just painted over. The staff were super friendly for check-in and prompt with refilling the hot water for tea and cocoa.

The room smelled so bad, no other rooms available, had asked for higher floor. We went out and bought a bottle of fabreeze. The bedding was clean which I checked and the reason we stayed, we were tired and we were only there for a short time leaving early in the morning to continue on our trip. Catherine the morning front desk associate was excellent and helpful.

Arrived at 2:20 PM and tried to check-in but we were refused. I understand check-in is at 3:00 PM, but I've never been denied early check-in. Stayed for 3 nights and nobody came to clean our room or refresh towels, etc. The wifi connection is weak. We stayed here 25 years ago after it first opened. We were disappointed on our return visit

The property appears newer and the room was spacious and well equipped with a decent sized fridge and microwave. The bed, however, is definitely too soft and was not good for my back. The bathroom, while spacious and clean, could use more counter space at the sink. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Check in person was super, otherPeople were friendly, but not super service focused. Dropped something on the floor and while looking, I saw a LOT of food bits, garbage, and dirt under the table between the beds. We were told that we’d have room clean on day 3, but we did not. We had to make our own arrangements for trash removal and coffee bar refresh.

We were charged the wrong amount. We now have to dispute the charges. We call the hotel and they did not have a clue on how to solve the problem. The rate through Expedia was $221.00 per night after taxes we owed $481.78. They billed us another $481.78 and an additional $245.52. Nightmare!!

Hotel had some construction going on. it was so incredibly loud that i couldn’t hear the desk clerk. Went on until 6:30 pm. I called the desk to ask a question regarding wi-fi & there was no answer in 3 separate occasions. The side door to the parking area let you go out, but would not work with the key card to let me back in. I was not impressed with this stay. I thought it would be a bit better for $350 for one night.

The hotel is very, very much overrated by Expedia. The price is much too high for a hotel without a lounge, restaurant and bar. Only once in a three days the bed linen is replaced. The location of the hotel is isolated: there is nothing on walking distance. But most shocking is the amount waste created by a simple breakfast; the hotel successfully prevents any dishwashing. It is far from sustainable!

This Comfort Inn has been updated overall and is very comfortable and lovely. Though I believe I booked a room for two queen-size beds, but got a room with one king-size bed, it worked out for us. We aren't very good sleepers these days! So, after the first night of the fan and A/C unit running off & on and keeping me awake, due to its loudness, I shut it off completely and opened a window a bit. That helped! The staff were wonderful!! The breakfast offered plenty of options we liked, though we were surprised not to find yogurt this time. The only disappointment I heard was the second morning when a large group of police and/or firemen (I think) were eating breakfast quite early, finishing all the cheese omelets! When the hotel guests began to arrive for breakfast, all the omelets were gone, and the kitchen staff had no idea if or when another batch would be available. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn, and would recommend it to anyone heading into the St. Johnsbury area. Thank you!!

I usually stay at Embassy Suites due to their great free breakfast options and afternoon happy hours. This place had less of a selection but was still better than the free breakfasts many places have of just cereal and pancakes. Was good to get scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage.
