HONEYROSE Hotel, Montreal, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The overall experience is quite nice and visually pleasing, and the staff are friendly. However, I didn't like that you have to pay for parking, and the parking spaces are very tight. It doesn't make much sense for a luxury hotel to have such inadequate parking facilities.

Loved the pool area with hot tub and sauna! Room was excellent, very comfy bed. Could use a bit more privacy in the washroom and shower area lol - lots of open glass. Otherwise great! Very quiet room even though we were right by the elevators.

Nous sommes restés une nuit et l’hôtel était parfait. La chambre était spacieuse et très propre. Piscine, jacuzzi et sauna sont à notre disposition. Un gym et des classes sportives sont offertes. Il y a un restaurant et un café à même l’hôtel (je vous suggère le chai latte au café). L’hôtel se situe au Centre-Ville de Montréal. À 2 minutes de marche du métro Place-des-Arts et à moins de 10 minutes de marche de la rue Sainte-Catherine et du Centre Eaton. Les employés étaient très gentils et accueillants

Location location location! No car needed except to visit the biodome. Hot tub, pool and sauna were perfect. Wish the gym was open 24 hours but that’s the only downfall.

Beautiful hotel, great amenities very quiet and comfortable good service. Only disappointing thing was jets in the hot tub didn’t seem to be working

Room was spacious and clean. Love the heated bathroom floors. The hot tub could be a tad hotter, but the sauna is amazing.

Tout était parfait jusqu’à ce qu’on décide d’aller à la piscine et spa !! Le spa était pas très propre l’eau était pas clair et la piscine non plus donc nous avons rebrousser chemin!! Assez décevant puisque j’avais choisi cette hôtel spécifiquement pour la piscine et le spa que nous n’avons malheureusement pas profité!! Mais pour le reste de l’hôtel je n’ai rien vu d’aussi beau c’est magnifique!! Autre petit bémol le stationnement de 40$ assez exagéré en plus j’ai failli accrocher les murs à quelque reprises tellement c’est restreint comme espace!

S’était très propre cependant quand nous somme arriver la toilette était bouchée !! Elle prenais pas son eau donc nous avons apeller au front desk et nous avons eu un service très rapide !! Sinon personelle courtois et aimable

The location is super convenient—close to everything I needed, and the amenities were pretty solid too. Definitely some nice touches that made the stay comfortable. There were yellow stains on the comforter (inner layer). Not what you'd expect from a hotel at this price point. It made it hard to fully relax.

This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Everything was great for me as a solo traveler. Just a note that my room did not have a door to the bathroom although the toilet had a glass door to separate it from the sink area. The shower was all tinted glass and formed the corner of the bathroom so one could sort of see someone showering. There was a curtain that could be drawn across the bathroom opening and the shower for privacy which might suffice for most people but if you are sharing with someone you are not close to you might want more privacy than this. A trade off for a lovely hotel where they have thought of everything…even hooks on the wall for your coat when you enter and a boot tray! I will be staying here in the future.

Beautiful high end hotel in the heart of downtown Montreal. Perfect location, just a short walk to Old Montreal and steps away from Sainte-Catherine Street. The hotel is absolutely stunning as was our suite. However, our suite was located on the 8th floor with a view of the Muze lounge below on the 5th floor and, on our last night when we wanted to go to bed a little earlier, we realized how loud it was. The noise from the lounge (which has an outdoor patio) was so disruptive that we could not sleep until it closed. Finally, although the hotel appears high end luxury, the service that should go along with that is in need of improvement. However, all in all, we received extremely good value for what we paid and were overall satisfied and will stay here again.

Could use more places to connect phone chargers (like by the bed) but overall a nice property.

Big comfortable room

The staff was mostly nice besides one rude person we asked over the phone about room service. So the staff, in general was the highlight. The not so good. The bathroom, specifically the toilet, has no privacy. There is no door, only a curtain. And the stall is made of glass with an opening at the top in case you wanted to hear and smell what goes on in there. The room was small. Room service does not start until 5pm (I thought this was wild in a luxury hotel). And the gym area is really small and long. So if 1 or 2 people are in there, it's ok, but after that it feels really crowded and claustrophobic. Also the windows are not thick, we could hear lots of street noise and revving of engines all night. Again, the location to see things and staff were lovely, also the nespresso in the room was also a nice touch, but for an expensive hotel, it really missed the mark with respect to privacy, comfort, and relaxation.

Great hotel with a central location. One thing is that there’s zero privacy with the bathroom design. There may be frosting on the glass walls but there’s no sound barrier. Just something to keep in mind! Would still stay here again even with that.

Room was very large with an interesting view and a lovely bathtub and an enclosed toilet space. All pluses. One side of the bed had no plug access which for me is a serious no no in this era of connectivity.

Mon expérience à l’hôtel HONEYROSE a été très décevante. À mon arrivée, après un vol de 15 heures, j’ai rencontré un problème avec ma carte de crédit. Au lieu de chercher une solution adaptée, le chef de la réception m’a tenu des propos blessants et condescendants, allant jusqu’à me demander pourquoi j’avais réservé si je n’avais pas d’argent. J’ai ressenti cela comme une attitude discriminatoire et très loin des standards d’un hôtel 5 étoiles. J’ai proposé de payer en espèces à l’avance, ou même tous les deux jours, mais cela a été refusé. J’ai finalement dû utiliser ma carte professionnelle, ce qui m’a beaucoup contrarié, d’autant plus que dans d’autres hôtels de même catégorie, ce type de situation est toujours réglé avec professionnalisme et souplesse. Concernant le reste du séjour : le personnel en général était aimable, et la chambre correcte, mais sans le niveau de luxe attendu pour un 5 étoiles (mini-bar vide, très peu d’aménités, aucun service de pliage des vêtements, etc.). Autre point étonnant : après avoir pris mon petit-déjeuner au restaurant de l’hôtel, on m’a appelé pour exiger un paiement en espèces au lieu de simplement l’ajouter à ma chambre. En résumé, cet hôtel ne reflète pas du tout l’expérience haut de gamme attendue. Je voyage souvent dans des hôtels 5 étoiles à travers le monde et c’est la première fois que je me sens ainsi sous-estimé et mal accueilli

Super nice staff

had our second 9 day stay, we asked a male front desk person would it be possible for a small chair, even a folding one so we both could enjoy view. not possible he did not even get back to us. only item in room to sit on was desk chair which was fine and bed.. on positive side the 2 ladies on desk @ check in were incredible! clearly made for this industry.! the keans

Great property - clean and well maintained. Service was terrible, including the restaurants and the coffee shop.

Staff are very accommodating

I had to call reception three times for one request. First time was around 10pm, a lady picked up the phone and told me water would be delivered in 10 minutes. No one ever came. I started to become really thirsty so I made another call around 2am. Second time, a man picked up and told me it would be delivered in 5 minutes. I told him that I would wait for 5 minutes. If no one came, I would come down to pick up. Again, no one came. By this I was too sleepy so I called receptionist to cancel my order. I just wanted to go to sleep at this point. However, receptionist told me that he heard I said I was coming down. He had the bottles ready for me. I felt bad and thirsty so I came down . The receptionist was nice and profusely apologized for the mistake. I told him it was okay.

Front desk staff were very helpful and willing to assist with whatever questions we had in regards to our stay at the hotel. They even offered to help us with places to visit and how to get there.

Beautiful hotel! So close to the Jazz festival entrance. Will be back next year.

The location of the property was excellent. It had a lovely pool and hot tub to use after a long day of exploring.

The property was well kept and clean, friendly staff. In and out parking was a big plus. Location was convenient to the jazz festival

Super convenient location and very nice facility. The metro stop is literally around the corner as well as another exit across the street. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel, had a huge suite on the 14th floor. Very close to downtown and McGill University which my grandson is attending. Good spot for families visiting students.

Beautiful, well apointed hotel. Staff were excellent. Very large double room with lots of natural light. The shower/toilet design was....interesting. It lacked four walls and only had a soft-closing glass door to the bathroom so wasn't perfectly soundproof. Gorgeous pool, hot tub, sauna. Restaurants were too pricey and lacked enough vegetarian options but the cocktails were lovely and the cafe was convenient for morning coffee and croissants. Very conveniently located in downtown and right next to a metro station.

The beds were very comfortable. Food from the restaurant tasty. ((Had breakfast and dinner). Large rooms and bathroom. Staff knowledgeable and always pleasant. Nice addition to the city’s offerings!

This is a difficult one to write. For context, Itravel for work and for the foreseeable future, I will be in Montreal every 2 weeks, each time a 3-night stay. That’s an expense of approx $1200 each time. On the one hand, i would easily give the hotel itself 4/5. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff is - at first glance - very courteous. The amenities are modern and you can tell effort was put into making your stay a good one. That is until they make a mistake at their restaurant. One morning they served me my omelet with moldy fruit on the side. Naturally I mentioned it to the waitress who - to my dumbfounded surprise - simply said “it happens” and walked away. No “oops’ I’m sorry, I’ll replaced it”, no making it right in any way whatsoever. I was obviously not a valued customer. So I filed my complaint and we’ll see if anything comes of it but so far? Nothing. In the hospitality business, this is very strange behaviour on the part of the hotel. At the very least they should update their staff training manual. When you serve a client moldy breakfast, offering an it-sucks-to-br-you response might not win you the hotel of the year award. A $35 omelet with a side of mold? Not a great start to my day. To their credit, the hotel did say they’d follow up with me but since they didn’t do that the first time I brought this up, maybe they will next week. We’ll see and maybe I’ll consider coming back.

Beautiful hotel, unique design which is a refreshing change from the standard hotel chains. The showers are amazing in style and function. Our only negative was that for duch a luxurious feel, we couldnt get morning room service. Even the option to order a carafe of coffee would have been amazing. However, there was a Nespresso in the room for those who dont mind coffee without milk. The pool, fitness centre and overall feel of the hotel made it an exceptional place to stay. A very unique experience, highly recommend.

Restaurants are over priced and sub par. Eat elsewhere

Overall this property was very good. Unfortunately the lounge was not open on Mondays and Tuesdays and the restaurant closed at 10pm.
