Casa Ybel Resort

Casa Ybel was the perfect getaway for my family. The resort was an oasis of serenity and sunshine which helped us unwind from the brutally cold and miserable winter we just endured up north. Privacy, fabulous food, beautiful grounds and a professional staff are what you can expect at Casa Ybel. I look forward to returning next year.

Room was clean and well stocked with towels etc. Kitchen had the necessary tools to fix meals. The sliding glass doors open on to a screened in porch with a view of the beach. found the bed to be uncomfortable and worn out and should be replaced. Overall, I would recommend Casa Ybel on Sanibel.

No management at all on weekends, so if you have complaints they tell you there is no one to help you. This is not hotel level service. No one told us we had to reserve beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach, and they were sold out for our entire stay. Also we ran out of towels for shower, and called at 4 pm and they said no clean towels until the next day. Way too expensive for this lack of service. They advertised bike rentals, but it’s from an outside service that you rent on your own. Advertised cots, but again from an outside service that you rent on your own. They advertise pool side bar, but it’s no longer there.
