I booked this thru Orbitz . It did not say that there was a $32 a day for parking. I was told during our check in at the desk. Normally , i try to book a hotel with free parking so this was definitely a surprise. Good thing ,we were only there for 2 nights.

Amazing property! The hotel looked and really like a premium one. You have the Fashion Valley mall just minutes away from the hotel. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were not heated during our stay. They looked amazing but we couldn’t enjoy them.

Everything was great except the $32 a night to park a car. That was unexpected. $15 would have been understandable but $32 was excessive. The resort itself is beautiful as well as clean and the staff were all great. Very friendly and helpful.

The layout of the hotel is user friendly; the room & bathroom were clean; bed very comfortable; stay was quiet; day spa was enjoyable & hotel staff were friendly. The gym was very sparse; no weights and the equipment that was there was a bit dated. Not all machines worked. This was a big disappointment. The pool was well maintained. Having cabanas was an added bonus. Water was a bit chilly but not bad. The jacuzzi however; was filthy. Looked like it had been overtaken my mildew. Would not go in it. It would be nice if complimentary coffee was avail (the coffee made in our rooms Kurig tasted rancid. May be the kurig machine.) While there is house coffee avail downstairs at for purchase, this is overpriced plain coffee with added options being to add packets of sugar and or cream from individual plastic containers. You can better quality elsewhere, nearby. The food was okay. There are many dining options in the community. Location is convenient.

Property was absolutely stunning. Nothing is really walking distance so prepare to Uber everywhere or pay $32 a night to park . The food at the steakhouse was ok kind of pricey but we only had breakfast, snacks are hiked up in princess orange juice was $6 for a personal bottle . Pool heater was out of order so pool was freezing. Rooms were clean

From the outside, looked clean and especially from the pictures. But, the room was not clean and broken drawers to stains on carpet. I upgraded to a balcony room and paid more because my son loves enjoying fresh air and the view. The balcony was pretty filthy and although the property was a smoke free facility. There was cigarette burns on the furniture and ash all over the floor. I actually took pictures as soon as i checked in, incase they tried to blame and charge me. Other than that, front desk service was great. Very accommodating and friendly. Wont let me add photos which is unfortunate.

When you walk in you think ok- this looks promising. Once you get past the lobby it goes downhill. Carpet is stained and forty- zero water pressure in the shower ad the sheets have a polyester feeling. Mattress was super lumpy and cheap feeling. Temp does not go below 72 degrees when it’s 90 outside or if you like to sleep in a cooler room you are out of luck. Consistent texts from their restaurant when I did not opt in. Front desk staff was nice but overall a dirty hotel with super cheap bedding.

Lobby and environment very clean and smelled great!! I just wish that great smell was in the room as well. Once we got in our room, the smell was muggy and not the same anymore.

The hotel is old, the room had stains all over the carpet, when we came in there was hair on the bed and on the bathroom. The shower drain would not stay up, we called maintenance but nobody ever came. We had to put a towel to keep the drain open while we were showering. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The parking for $30 per night is overpriced.

I really enjoyed this hotel, especially the free car charging options in the parking lot. Though, the parking cost $32 so I guess it wasn't exactly free. Our TV didn't work but they gave us free parking as a result. There's not really anything walkable around the hotel as it's located right off a busy highway.

loved the location, great area to stay to get to almost everything in San Diego quickly. Room was great, bed was good, small fridge in room which is a major plus. My only negative was the shower - water pressure was terrible. I would still stay again, everything else was wonderful.

Lovely modern looking/spacious hotel/rooms/pool area. Very comfortable mattresses Daily water in foyer and room staff friendly and attentive feels luxury It is next to a main highway so its very noisy outside/on the balcony Horrendous continuous loud noise from the bathroom - which according to the handyman was due to air in the fire system and on every floor Rooms are a bit too dark for me due to covered in balcony making them a bit depressing 20 minutes walk to mall Comicon bus stops outside days inn about a 10 min walk away

I was very disappointed that the Jacuzzi was not working and also the room was extremely loud. The AC sounded like a motor of a car and there was very few amenities in the room no shower cap no Q-tips nothing on the bathroom counter. Also, I noticed some guests received a gift bag and we did not receive one and also I’m an AMEX platinum member and my room was not upgraded or even offered for upgrade. Our room was changed once because of noise but the second room is not much better. I was extremely disappointed in this property.

Overall loved our stay. Clean rooms and good ventilation. Quiet and very nice and friendly front desk staff. Minor issues with a rude housekeeper and room service guy that answered the phone when we tried to order breakfast. Also super bummed they don’t offer free coffee in the mornings.

Overall the Legacy Resort Spa & Hotel makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The food at the hotel restaurant was quite tasty and fairly priced. My one recommendation would be for the hotel to allow the staff to use their discretion to make certain decisions. For example, the hotel was unable to grant me a late checkout although I expressed how helpful it would be given I had a red-eye flight later in the evening. Their reasoning was that they don’t assign rooms to individual guests, and it’s first come first serve. I respect and understand their policy, but if they had granted me a late checkout I likely would’ve used the gym, eaten lunch, and spent more time at their hotel whereas instead I just checked out per my initial reservation. 4/5 overall

We were not told about a free breakfast Our stay for the entire thing was 367 for some reason the woman charged my card 387 when we got there and she kept stating it was the damage deposit 50 a night we stayed two I’m not math wizard but that makes 100.. even if she was adding the parking 35 a day we stayed two. on check out I question all this because I found out from my bank about the charge not from her.. and they guy checking me out wouldn’t answer said it was parking but I’m paying cash for my stay and it was on the list of charges I paid today with cash …. And the chargers were more than the total stay… another woman tried saying it was the taxes .. that still doesn’t add up guys… terrible staff

The hotel was beautiful and the lady that checked us in was so nice and professional, however we really wanted to have dinner at the onsite restaurant so we went down and the bartender was very flustered because it was a busy night and said it would be a 25 minute wait, we said oh that’s fine we will wait, she took our info and forgot about us completely… three tables were sat before us so we went to ask and then they realized what had happened but didn’t apologize, we were sat at a table and then we never had anyone come take our drink order so we had enough and left to a restaurant close by, which then made the night even later and we didn’t get to swim as a family. That same night there was an intoxicated man at the hotel and the staff was acting extremely suspicious and my spouse and I were concerned because they said they didn’t have any experience with that situation and didn’t know what to do exactly. The price for the room didn’t match what we received, we ended up getting a handicap room and we are not handicapped, when I asked if that was normal the question was completely ignored. I never leave reviews and I never complain but this was our families first vacation together and for what I paid I am greatly disappointed. I understand things go wrong but it was one thing after another.

Worst service ever at the restaurant of a rude waitress who made us have the worst experience . Toilet paper holder was broken , pillows are hard as a rock. No coffee replaced in the room . No bottles of water were given as it was told . Really bad experience overall

Love everything about this hotel (except the parking fees): the room is spacious and gorgeous, the food was good at the restaurant, the staff was friendly and accommodating, nice lobby/reception areas, etc. Can’t wait to return next year. Thanks for a great stay. Great job Legacy. Bravo!

The rooms are nice. It has a good amount of space. The balcony is a bonus. The view is decent. The hot tub was everything. There is carpet in the room. We had an issue with our first room. Tisha rectified it asap. She went above and beyond to get us situated. Sharon followed up and made sure we were comfortable. Kasey ensured we were satisfied and took care of us at checkout. All of the ladies provided excellent service and made me want to stay there again.

Convenient location near the 5 and 8, so there is some traffic noise if you are on your balcony. Not a ton of walking distance restaurants but Theresa's was great and there are many just a short drive or uber away Facility is very clean and staff was super friendly and helpful!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hot tub is huge and was great to use each night, but the pool was not heated so we couldn't use it during our November visit. Parking is convenient, but way too expensive ($32/night). Overall, it was a decent stay, but nothing special.

What I really liked was that it was very quiet and peaceful for the size of the place. Good location, close to everything, but not so close as to be overrun. What I didn't like was them closing the pool/hot tub by 9 PM for everyone. It's summer in San Diego. And my experience was this was an adults only hotel (did not see any families with zmall children). Why close it down so early? Got back from working at 6 PM. Dinner done by 7,:30. Q hour to let food sit, and the pool area is closing in 1/2 hour? Still, overall, it was a pretty good stay.

The location was perfect. It was easy to get around to everything on our itinerary. We had breakfast at the hotel twice which was pretty good. However, the dinner wasn’t the best. Please note there is an additional $50 per day fee which is a hold and then released after checkout. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, clean and all the staff were amazing. This will be my go to stay the next time I visit San Diego. I do wish the hotel offered complimentary airport shuttle.

Room was very clean and it was very neat. We enjoyed our stay. Instead of a walk-in shower, our deluxe room had a tub shower. It was well designed. The hubby doesn’t prefer the tub showers. Loved Theresa’s Italian restaurant on premises. Homemade noodles.

The bed pillows were terrible and uncomfortable. The service in the bar was terrible! We sat for 10 minutes while this guy mopped the floor. My husband had to go to the front desk to ask if anyone was working. Once the front desk called up to lounge, the guy finally acknowledged us. Then he made the worst martini ever.
