Wyndham Garden Orlando Universal / I Drive

I didn’t like the pool in the parking area. No privacy.

Tried to book this property on expedia but the booking didn't process for some reason, no confirmation. We rebooked a week later through expedia and this time we received instant confirmation, from expedia and Wyndham Garden. When we arrived at the Hotel we were informed we double booked and was charged $200 no show fee unbeknown to us. We were under the impression the double booking was being taken care of. Anyhow we were looking forward to relaxing in their heated saltwater pool, went and bought a couple of water noodles went down to the pool only to find the heater was broken and the water was frigid compared to the 90 degree outside temperature. Not good for a couple in their early 70's. Apparently only the maintenance guy knew the pool wasn't working. Now were waiting to see if Wyndham will take care of the overcharge. Beside that, the Hotel was beautiful and exceptionl clean.

The property is great. Rooms clean and staff very helpful & friendly! The only thing I didn't love is the parking situation- they need more parking as the spots filled quickly and we ended up having to park in employee parking. They didn’t give us any issue over this- it’s just some expansion should probably happen soon since the hotel is so nice & popular!

The bar was shut down 2 months ago cause clerk said it wasn’t profitable for the hotel. The dining is breakfast only. The do have beer available but it’s out of an open cooler. Ok I guess if you drink beer but I don’t only booked this place cause it said it had a restraunt and bar open until 10

great place very clean with excellent location. Staff very nice and helpful It would be great if they had a shuttle to Theam Parks. that was a big drawback.

Great stay, spacious and clean room, very friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable beds, free parking and a pool, brunch restaurant onsite but also other food, snack and drink options available for purchase. Also very close to Universal, Disney and many other attractions and activities as well as many stores, food places, restaurants and bars. Some beaches are also close if driving.

The room was huge. The lobby was very clean and nice. Property also had a laundromat which was convenient. Check in and out were fuss-free. The only complaint was the floor in the room which made my soles really dirty. It would help if there were bedroom slippers. Also, when we checked-in, we realised the fridge wasn’t working so we called helpdesk and someone came to fix it within 1 minute which was way beyond my expectations. Would definitely come back again if I’m visiting.

I stayed here for business but it is obviously an (cheaper) alternative to some other places in Universal.... It was clean and the room was new, well laid out and comfortable. The gym was actually, for a 3 star hotel gym, pretty good. I did not use the restaurant or bar but it looked... ok lol. It's a close walk to a bunch of mall style shops and places to eat. Worth a look. I have zero complaints.

Very clean facility

I travel quite a bit and this the cleanest hotel I have ever come across. My wife was so impressed by how spotless the room was. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Exactly as pictured. The rooms were clean and spacious and the front desk staff was attentive.

Hotel room was very clean. We had plenty of towels and hand towels and they even included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. Connecting to Wi-Fi was easy and although the TV didn't have a ton of channels, it still had all the basics you would need! It's about a 30 minute walk to universal and there are a ton of places to eat within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

Pleasantly surprised, well maintained property all rooms, updated comfortable beds loved not having any carpet in the rooms. Very clean. Wonderful location would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay. The hotel was super clean, the staff was very friendly, and the room was very nice. Breakfast was not included. We paid for it one day and it was your basic hotel breakfast, but very expensive. The service for it was excellent though. The mattress was very thin and hard, but we did not mind sleeping in it since everything else was exceptional. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The Wi-Fi connection went down every night my entire stay . Internet connection could have been better . Staff was friendly and helpful . Room was extremely clean.

The hotel was great for our short stay. It’s just minutes from attractions and restaurants. It’s no frills, but very clean and quiet. No bugs! Bathroom was clean. The staff was very nice and informative. There is a pool, but we were too busy to check it out. My only complaint- the pillows. Bring your own pillow! Otherwise, I would absolutely recommend staying here. We would book this hotel again the future.

Everything looks good except for the the noise of the air conditioner.

Our stay at Wyndham Garden Orlando Universal was good. The shower was excellent and refreshing after a long day at Universal Studios. The surrounding area felt safe, although wasn't the most appealing. Having an IHOP nearby was nice for breakfast and the hotel is very close to Universal.

Quick and easy check in and check out. Microwaves in room would be nice.

The room itself isnt bad at all but the a/c was extremely noisy and the bed was too soft. Good location if you plan on going to universal parks.

Nice room for a low price. No issues to note. Only thing I didn’t like was the motion sensor lights but I won’t knock the rating for that. Would definitely stay here again.

The room is ver spacious and cozy! Customer service was great! The only thing I didn’t like was the room didn’t have a microwave. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for 3 nights. We had a room with a king and a bunk bed. That was perfect for a family of 4 (2 young boys). Boys had their own little area with their own tv. Only concern I had with the area was there was no light for them. It made their area dark if the tv wasn’t on. Hotel will provide room service as in replace your beddings if you request them to do that day. They’ll clean your bathroom daily. Pool was small and didn’t see anyone using it. Pool had leaves in it. Only one elevator worked while we were there. A couple of times there was a long wait for an elevator. Location was perfect if you were planning on going to Universal Studios. Less than 5 mins away from the park. After a long day at universal studios, we didn’t have to take a long drive back to the hotel. That was very convenient. Traffic wasn’t bad for the location. Everything was within a couple exits from shopping to eating. Breakfast was available but wasn’t included. We choose to eat out and explore Orlando. Overall the stay was nice. We had no major issues with the stay. For the price and location it was worth the stay.

Tina at front desk was amazing It made our stay extra special. The entire staff was great as well. Any inquiries was taken care of. We will most definitely be returning

The lady at the reception was very very unpolite

Checking in as a female and the man at the front desk says my room number TWICE!! Very loudly!! With at least 4 other men checking in within 3 feet of me and definitely many more within an earshot. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD FOR WOMEN! DO NOT SAY ROOM NUMBERS OUT LOUD. Would absolutely NOT recommend or will ever stay here alone as a women… EVER. Staff need to be trained properly on safety measures checking people in. Thank you.

Overall my stay was great. There were two occasion that were time consuming. When checking in there was no one at the front desk waited 20 mins, and checking out waited another 15 minutes due to no one at the front desk.

Garcia was a peach. :) Very nice, accommodating, kind, and lots of patience. The young lady (can’t remember name) from Brooklyn was also very nice. Convenient to Universal. We walked versus taking Uber. Wish there was a shuttle. No free breakfast but options close by like Denny’s and IHOP. Shower could have been cleaner, but the water pressure was great. Plenty outlets to charge devices. Sofa bed was awful. Should be replaced/upgraded. Keurig needs to be descaled (vinegar would help). Complimentary coffee in the lobby with multiple creamer options was a plus. Add a toilet seat cover. More hooks to hang towels & clothes. Bigger trash can or extra trash bags for trash since house keeping comes every three days. More signs on property to deter people from vaping, especially at the pool. The pool was nice. We were able to enjoy it alone for more than an hour before someone was rude and came out to vape.

The property is in fantastic condition, it is clean and modern, location is great near shopping and theme parks. The staff is nice however a bit unprofessional, I phoned front desk four times to ask a question and was hung up on four times. I had to go downstairs to meet a reception clerk who was overwhelmed though no one was there. I told him that I tried to call and he was like room number xyz, he apologised but I told him four times. It is so unprofessional as they had no clue why I was calling.

This hotel is always going to be my choice when we are in Orlando. When I say Ms.Tina was phenomenal along with the second shift crew who was always busy!!! They were very friendly,nice, and attentive. Great crew. Working in the hotel industry myself l, I was VERY IMPRESSED.Thanks to the housekeeping staff! The rooms were VERY CLEAN AND CRISP. Keep up the great work.

Clean, efficient, near universal parks. Easy drive to parks. No shuttle but close and clean and quiet.

Really clean hotel, new build that still looks and feels new. Very clean throughout, and has a great eating area downstairs. We had a double queen suite, between 4 of us (two adults, 10 and 6 year old). The size of the room was perfect. We didn’t spend too much time in the hotel, but when we did, the sofa area really came in handy. Location wise, was really good. Down the road (4 min walking) was Denny’s. Opposite that is the mini golf place. 7-11 and iHop are 10mins walks away. Gas station is 6mins walk away. The hotel swimming pool is really good for what it is. Enjoyable for the kids to chill in for a couple of hours. It has a cleaning filter too, so the water remains clean throughout the day. The gym is a really good feature. Albeit, it lacks a few weight training machines/apparatus in my opinion. Enough to get enough of a good workout, but not enough to be as good as a local gym. The restaurant only serves breakfast, and it’s a ‘order through phone’ service.. although Kamal works there and helps by taking orders also. Kamal was really helpful, and polite. Made the stay more memorable. The breakfast is really good, although, a bit pricey. Kids breakfast would cost around USD10/person. Adults is around USD25/person. The only change I would make is to put the bedroom sink in the bathroom instead of the room hallway. That just felt odd. I would definitely stay again.. 7min drive from universal.. great hotel.. great price.

Not much is walkable from this property but if you have a car it’s in an excellent spot for I-4, five minutes from Universal Orlando and within a short drive for International Drive’s restaurants, bars and attractions. This was our second visit and we’d happily return again.

I stay here yearly. Always a pleasure. Helpful friendly staff. Very clean comfortable rooms. Conveniences available in lobby, i do miss the dinner food they ised to have available for purchase vit no other complaints. Right off expressway, super close to universal and walkable to dining options (dennys across the street) and drugstore.

Breakfast not included

Very comfortable bedding, AC nice and quiet. This property is spotless. The only thing that did not work well was the barcode to order food instead of the menu inside the room. The app jut didn't work. We did not eat breakfast, but found the menu very appealing and priced well. Please change the coffee brand, i dont care for Starbucks, but it was on the very thin side.

Great hotel close to universal. God breakfast, but they dont serve it on wendnesdays.
