Loved the special attention from the Concierge Josue. It really made the trip special for our 2 year old daughter. The Family Selection is really worth it for families with young kids.

I stayed in the Family Selection and liked how close to the pool and The Nest restaurant we were. The food was great every time we ate breakfast, lunch or dinner there. All the restaurants we ate at were good overall, depending on what you ordered. The butler service was the best perk ever. Josue, Moises and Isaias were all incredible. They really went above and beyond to help us and provided top notch service. The complimentary sun shirts for our 13 year olds was a life saver (skin saver!) The beach here is great with nice sand and offers fun waves for body and boogie boarding with a separate area for surfers. The aquasize classes were really fun in the main pool. The food at the buffet was better than some other resorts I have stayed at and their fresh stations were awesome. We liked the greenery and layout with pathways and different "relaxation" zones (hammocks or seating tucked away in the "forest"). The gym was decent. Overall, the customer service we received from the moment we checked in was fantastic. Even waiting to check in, the lobby bartender came to offer us a drink. The teens liked the candy wall and enjoyed playing pool and doing karaoke at the Teen Club. The only con to mention is that our room faced construction so we couldn't enjoy our balcony and there was no view - but it only woke me up once and we weren't in the room much. If you are a light sleeper, it may not be great though. I have been to lots of AI and I would definitely go back to this one.

We had the best time! The staff is amazing, especially our butler Josué Hidalgo… From booking dinners to reserving pickleball courts! He was so friendly and helpful. Also, Victor at the Hemingway Lounge kept the most delicious cocktails flowing. The beach is so beautiful and has everything you need… snorkeling, swimming, surfing and more. We loved the beach bar, especially Antonio. The food was delicious and the staff was so helpful showing me what vegetarian options were available. Highly recommend a massage at the spa… Alexa and Surges were incredible! And the outdoor mineral pools were a peaceful little oasis. Can’t wait to go back to this resort!

Stayed 5 nights

My family and I stayed at Family Selection for 5 nights in April with our two kids (ages 8 and 5), along with my brother’s family. It was very budget-friendly, yet the service and facilities truly exceeded our expectations. We especially loved how the Family Selection area felt smaller and more private. The pool, restaurant (with à la carte options for breakfast and lunch), kids club, and private beach area were all close together and easy to access. The beach was another highlight—we actually preferred beach area over in front of the Grand Palladium. The sand was incredibly soft, and the water was clear and beautiful. A big part of what made our trip so special was our butler, Josue. He truly went above and beyond—welcoming us with thoughtful touches, arranging farewell gifts, sending champagne to our room, booking all our dinner reservations, helping us set up pickleball, and checking in daily with helpful updates. He also made sure all of our pre-arrival requests on our Wish List (like minibar preferences, pillows, and items for the kids) were ready for us. We’ve never felt so well taken care of at a resort. Moises (I hope I have his name right!) was also wonderful at check-in and even surprised our kids with Pokémon cards, which they loved. The food and drinks were very good overall. We especially enjoyed the mimosas and Nespresso martinis! We ate at à la carte restaurants every night—Bamboo, The Nest, and Portofino were our favourites. We hope to return!
