We loved our stay at ZonaZ. There was hardly anyone at the hotel, or at least it felt that way. Very relaxing. Loved the spa services available. Great location, as long as you don’t mind a few stairs.

Excellent customer service and easy of communications with the staff. Location is very clean and spacious. The room is very colourful and excellently decorated. Able to walk everywhere, whether the beach or the restaurants, and even Centro, is only 15 minutes away max. Other amenities include pool and onsite spa services. Highly recommend this hotel if you come to Puerto Vallarta.

We had a great stay at Zona Z for 5 nights. The room had everything that we needed and was perfect for the 2 of us. Our balcony was a great addition and we loved spending time on the loungers outside the pool. All of the staff that we met and talked with were very helpful. We also loved the location. Its a short walk to the "scene" but quiet at night and we didnt feel like we missed out on anything. Also, easy access to the beach. And the provided beach towels and beach bag were so perfect!!

The pool was very enjoyable and the property is situated in a nice quiet area away from the choas but close enough if you want to indulge in the fun the area has to offer. Great food options in the area and Marcella was the perfect host. Bathrooms are a bit small but the showers are great with strong pressure. You will not be disappointed in choosing ZonaZ boutique. ***Theres a hotel across the street that has a great happy hour with a rooftop deck where you can catch the sunset.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. I especially enjoyed the pool. The location of the hotel was also perfect. It was close to all of the major attractions, and it was easy to get around.

The ZonaZ hotel appears to be a new enterprise in an older building. When I stayed there, there was a lot of remodeling going on on the main floor which created a lot of daytime noise. They have an array of massage and spa services available, but I didn't take advantage of those services in my short 3 day stay. So, my review doesn't comment on the quality of their services. I was very impressed with Marcela who contacted me before my arrival to coordinate my arrival time and notified me when the room was ready so I could check in early, and gave me a very thorough intro/walkthrough upon arrival. She instructed me on the access codes to get through the gate and into my room and made sure I tried them out while she was watching. I found her very helpful and interested when I ran into a few issues during my stay. She was very open to suggestions for improvement. She also gave me her cell phone and the owner's cell phone just in case I ran into problems when the office was closed at night. There were some challenges that I ran into which I communicated to her and she took active notes. The biggest issue I ran into was the internet was very intermittent and unacceptably slow for my stay. She had already reported it to the internet provider, but it didn't get resolved during my stay. The other problem for me was that my room wasn't really setup with a work area so using the laptop for long period was difficult. I would consider staying with them again though.

The taxi driver got lost trying to find it, so since the gal at the hotel had texted me asking about my arrival time, I had her number and I texted her that he was lost. She called me and asked to speak to him and I held the phone up so he could hear and she talked him through it. Thus, you might want to be prepared with her number! The property is small but quaint. The A/C is adjustable and works great. The bed is firm, if you like that. The breakfast is adequate. The pool is small but delightfully refreshing when you come back from walking out in the heat. They provide beach towels and a beach bag so you can walk to the beach. The staff is very accommodating and generously helped us out with a later check-out and by calling the taxi for us.

The property grounds was excellent, keyless entry, awesome hotel intro and helpful staff with directions and recommendations, excellent room choice. Room amenities were plenty, beautiful patio backdrop overlooking the pool, HVAC worked great, property located up on a hill with a lot of stairs to climb, which we tackled early during our visit til we started hitting the bars late night coming back exhausted, and wondered whyyyyyyyy lol. If you can’t walk the steps after you party in heat like we did in June there is a funicular avai til the evening 9 or 10pm, otherwise take your time with stairs after hours, it’s part of experience. The property is worth it, near the beach, restaurants, shopping, bars, near a taxi stand as well. Loved the place and would visit again and again.

My room was super comfortable throughout my stay. Great air conditioning, lovely shower, comfortable bed, much like a studio set up with small kitchenette and sofa/tv area. Wi-Fi access, Netflix etc. Cafe for breakfast. Easy walk to beach (2 blocks) and access to restaurants. Pool area is more of a dipping pool to cool down, great for just one person or perhaps a couple/group of friends to use for themselves. Not really a place to spend the day around the pool. Hotel is a great place to stay to enjoy a comfortable room and spend time at the beach or eating/drinking in the local area. Was quiet at night and safe area. Taxis and Ubers found it easily.

Good ac. 5 minute walk to the beach, it is in a steep hill but there is a tramway working all day for you to use for free. There is an Oxxo and pharmacy up the hill. Walking distance from several restaurants will definitely be staying here again !

Overall, the hotel met all our needs. The location was nice and very walkable to all the things we needed. There was a great coffee shop around the corner which we started each day. The room was clean and equipped with what you need. The only complaint we had was that you could hear people walking in the street late at night.

Great place to stay in PV. Very convenient and safe location. Clean room and well-maintained hotel. Up a small hill (with stairs) to get to the beach but with a funicular available until 10pm to get you up and down for free. Very friendly staff at the hotel. Comfy bed, everything we needed was available in the room and good wifi connection. Would definitely go back.

Beautifully decorated suite that felt like home. It was clean and had all the amenities that elevated the comfort level. I loved the area we were in and the proximity to great restaurants, the beach, the Malecon and great rooftop bars! We’ll be back again soon and if not, we’ll be definitely recommending this accommodation to friends and family. Thank you Siggy & Mark!

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. My room was clean, comfortable, with nice furnishings. I also liked the smell of the bathroom, which always had a delicious scent of honey and cinnamon. Nothing negative to say, except that sometimes the internet wifi connection was sometimes a problem. My computer connected fine, but I kept getting messages saying the server was down and unable to connect. I figured out how to get around this, so luckily was not a big problem. Thanks so much for all your hospitality - I hope I will be welcome back to ZonaZ on my next trip to PV.

This is a hard hotel to review. The staff is wonderful. The room clean. However, it was very noisy, the shower didn't drain, there is no light in the closet area, and it was dark the entire time due to the high-rise buildings on 3 sides. Perhaps the higher floors are better. As nice as it was, I'm not booking with them again.

My room was super comfortable throughout my stay. Great air conditioning, lovely shower, comfortable bed, much like a studio set up with small kitchenette and sofa/tv area. Wi-Fi access, Netflix etc. Cafe for breakfast. Easy walk to beach (2 blocks) and access to restaurants. Pool area is more of a dipping pool to cool down, great for just one person or perhaps a couple/group of friends to use for themselves. Not really a place to spend the day around the pool. Hotel is a great place to stay to enjoy a comfortable room and spend time at the beach or eating/drinking in the local area. Was quiet at night and safe area. Taxis and Ubers found it easily.

We had a great stay. Marcela did fine work checking us in. Other staff helped by answering questions, offering suggestions. The suite was small but nicely furnished. It looked out at a colorful mural of sun and humpback - no view of water or even city. Fridge, microwave and small coffeemaker were in our room, making it easy to go slower in the morning.

Absolutely wonderful first visit to Puerto Vallarta. ZonaZ is in a great location and we got all of the information we needed about how to get from the airport to the hotel in advance, and plenty of tips about the area when we arrived. Would absolutely book here again next time.

Zona Z was a wonderful place to stay when I needed a safe and convenient hotel for a couple nights in Puerto Vallarta. I am a single woman traveling and I felt safe in the hotel and the area around it. I wasn't out at night, though. It was walkable with many options for shopping, eating, drinking, and beach. The staff were wonderful, super helpful, and always friendly with my questions. There was a situation with my toilet and they did assist me right away, it wasn't a big issue so I still give all top reviews. I will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. I especially enjoyed the pool. The location of the hotel was also perfect. It was close to all of the major attractions, and it was easy to get around.

It was perfect, just what I wanted/needed, something relaxing, clean, quaint and funky, absolutely charming. I forgot my hat when taken the shuttle and the driver returned it to the hotel, and I was able to pick up the next day. I hope I can return soon. Thank you ♥️🙏

Even though they didnt get back to me from the Expedia platform at all, i was arriving early. I was greeted and allowed to check in early. I did have some downs with the cable and internet going off, but it was an aerea issue. The breakfast is at a restaurant at the corner, great little place. People needs to be reminded that you are walking endless stairs up and down the is lift round the corner. My stairs to the alberca was narrow though. Over all i loved my studio...i had everything i needed. Shower was great. Alberca area waa very nice. Everything is nearby. The tallest happy hour is across the street. Very convenient location, i had a place to get a cheap cab to the airport early round the corner.

The ZonaZ hotel appears to be a new enterprise in an older building. When I stayed there, there was a lot of remodeling going on on the main floor which created a lot of daytime noise. They have an array of massage and spa services available, but I didn't take advantage of those services in my short 3 day stay. So, my review doesn't comment on the quality of their services. I was very impressed with Marcela who contacted me before my arrival to coordinate my arrival time and notified me when the room was ready so I could check in early, and gave me a very thorough intro/walkthrough upon arrival. She instructed me on the access codes to get through the gate and into my room and made sure I tried them out while she was watching. I found her very helpful and interested when I ran into a few issues during my stay. She was very open to suggestions for improvement. She also gave me her cell phone and the owner's cell phone just in case I ran into problems when the office was closed at night. There were some challenges that I ran into which I communicated to her and she took active notes. The biggest issue I ran into was the internet was very intermittent and unacceptably slow for my stay. She had already reported it to the internet provider, but it didn't get resolved during my stay. The other problem for me was that my room wasn't really setup with a work area so using the laptop for long period was difficult. I would consider staying with them again though.

The taxi driver got lost trying to find it, so since the gal at the hotel had texted me asking about my arrival time, I had her number and I texted her that he was lost. She called me and asked to speak to him and I held the phone up so he could hear and she talked him through it. Thus, you might want to be prepared with her number! The property is small but quaint. The A/C is adjustable and works great. The bed is firm, if you like that. The breakfast is adequate. The pool is small but delightfully refreshing when you come back from walking out in the heat. They provide beach towels and a beach bag so you can walk to the beach. The staff is very accommodating and generously helped us out with a later check-out and by calling the taxi for us.

The property grounds was excellent, keyless entry, awesome hotel intro and helpful staff with directions and recommendations, excellent room choice. Room amenities were plenty, beautiful patio backdrop overlooking the pool, HVAC worked great, property located up on a hill with a lot of stairs to climb, which we tackled early during our visit til we started hitting the bars late night coming back exhausted, and wondered whyyyyyyyy lol. If you can’t walk the steps after you party in heat like we did in June there is a funicular avai til the evening 9 or 10pm, otherwise take your time with stairs after hours, it’s part of experience. Absolutely perfect couldn’t ask for more ! Rooms are so cute, clean, and staff are friendly. Good ac. 5 minute walk to the beach, it is in a steep hill but there is a tramway working all day for you to use for free. There is an Oxxo and pharmacy up the hill. Walking distance from several restaurants will definitely be staying here again !

We loved our stay at ZonaZ. There was hardly anyone at the hotel, or at least it felt that way. Very relaxing. Loved the spa services available. Great location, as long as you don’t mind a few stairs.

We stayed here 3 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a small balcony overlooking the courtyard where we enjoyed our coffee every morning. All rooms face the street and have a balcony that overlooks the courtyard. Access requires climbing stairs - fine for us but it might be a challenge for anyone with limited mobility. The staff were very friendly. It’s in a good location - close, but not in the middle of the high-traffic restaurant area. Access by foot does require either climbing long stairs or riding the funicular.

The pool was very enjoyable and the property is situated in a nice quiet area away from the choas but close enough if you want to indulge in the fun the area has to offer. Great food options in the area and Marcella was the perfect host. Bathrooms are a bit small but the showers are great with strong pressure. You will not be disappointed in choosing ZonaZ boutique. ***Theres a hotel across the street that has a great happy hour with a rooftop deck where you can catch the sunset.

The whole facility was lovely. The only niggle was the our room didn't have a door to the toilet, we might be married but there are still some things we like to keep separate lol. Otherwise the location, room, pool area, cleanliness, welcome bottles of water and wine, bedding etc etc were all high quality.
