The property was a little confusing as to where your room was. It was easy to get lost, but that might be me and not the hotel. My room was right above a wedding, which was loud as a wedding should be until close to midnight. The breakfast was OK. They have a laundry which was available. The dryer didn’t dry very well. Had to do it twice.

The reason i chose to stay at this hotel was for the ammenties of a hot tub, pool, and kitchenette in room to cook. *The HOT TUB WAS NOT IN SERVICE! *TO USE THE STOVE YOU HAD TO BE SUPPLIED WITH THEIR POTS AND PTheyANS OR THE STOVE WOULD NOT WORK,, WHICH ALSO INCLUDED AND EXTRA CHARGE THAT WAS NOT INFORMED IN THE AMMENITIES. When I checked out and discussed this with the hotel clerk. They would not offer any type of compensation. So the public should be aware of this so as to make a better decision of what hotel and amenities they will be getting. Lesson lived and lesson learned. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THE HOTEL FIRST TO MAKE CERTAIN THEY HONOR ALL THE AMMENTIES THEY ADVERTISE AND NO HIDDEN FEES!!!!

Please read this before booking your stay. If you are looking for something during the week, I think this is a great hotel. Suburban Studios and Quality Inn are in the same building. Suburban is the remodeled side. The pool was a great hit for the kids and the room was clean. However, I will never book this hotel for a Saturday night again. Unfortunately, they hosted a wedding in their facility and they are not conducive to hosting such an event. Yes, the hotel will get quiet around 11:15pm as the DJ stops at 11pm and then the guests get to their rooms. However, the evening hours consisted of my room vibrating from the music and not being able to hear anything in my room. The front desk was very apologetic and assured me that it would be quiet at 11pm. Yet, the hotel is basically a rectangular shape and the center of the rectangle is the event area. They should build a sound proof room to host these events. Again, this is a wonderful hotel, but I would ensure that they are not hosting an event before you book if you plan to travel with children or want to relax in your room for the evening.

I liked the price. I didn't like that our room wasn't serviced during our stay. When we requested more towels, the front desk said they would tell housekeeping, but the towels never arrived. The pool didn't have any towels that were clean when we came. There's were noisy guests with children running the halls after 10pm. Didn't seem like the front desk cared about it. The breakfast was a nice contentinental style.

Only downside, our room was next to ice machine. And room was set at 59 degrees and cold when we entered. But thermostat was easy to adjust. Group getting ice at 1 am was very loud and probably "had a few" Staff was professional, courtesy, friendly Check in a breeze Sauna, hot tub, and saltwater pool were clean Breakfast buffet (included) was hearty with fresh options Coffee available in the lobby from 4 am to 10 am Room was very clean with good size fridge, 2 burner induction stove, microwave, toaster, full size ironing board & iron. Shower head was a great model, very easy to adjust flow of water and temp of water

After 14 hours of driving, and having 6 more hours to go, we decided an evening of rest and a good night of sleep was needed. Nothing about this establishment disappointed our very tired selves. From check in to check out, ALL of the staff were helpful and kind. The Suite was just as wonderful. Large, clean, and very quiet. Large refrigerator, microwave, and a small cooktop. They even provided dish soap and dish towels! The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed our experience so much and have added this hotel to our very short list of places to stay when traveling through. In fact we will certainly set up our travel itinerary to include a stay over here.

My room appeared to be in an abandoned section of the hotel. There was a horrible sewage smell throughout that section of the building, including in my room. There was a huge gap under the door to the room that needed to be stuffed with towels in order to provide privacy. In the morning there was a loud explosion from the business next door, and someone joked they set off dynamite in the Quarry. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the staff was beyond friendly. There is no signage on the outside of the building with this hotel name, and we drove around for an extra 20 minutes trying to locate the hotel.

Walking into the property, I got a blast if off putting moldy air blown into my face. Walking into the room, there is a must, moldy smell. I stayed for three nights and by the second night I felt queasy and a migraine. Im home now and nursing this migraine for the second full day. Never going back.

The hotel is nice and the staff is friendly. We got an efficiency which was nice to have the bigger fridge/freezer as well as the extra countertop space. The only thing that was a little weird is that there are no external windows, only a window that opens out into the hallway. Without the natural light in the morning, it threw off my natural waking.

I thought the room was very spacious and comfortable. I actually extended my stay 2 more nights rather than move closer to my next destination because I liked the room. Breakfast was a step above the normal hotel breakfast room too. I’d be happy to stay here next time I’m in the area.

The room was very neat and clean, service was very friendly and responsive, all deserving of 5-stars. If you just want a place to sleep, with a decent continental breakfast and free tea/coffee, you can't go wrong here! It also has an attached restaurant which was super convenient. However, there were a few of things that I think are important for people to know (and I tend to look for those in 2-4 star reviews): 1. The walls are pretty thin. I could pretty easily hear the conversations, and noises, of the room next to me. 2. Wi-fi requires "registering" once on the public network. This is super common, but my problem lied with how often I would have to "re-register" my devices. 3. AC is LOUD 4. Very few TV options. They use a hyper-sanitary generic remote, which restricted it to "channel/volume up down" kinda functionality. 5. More of a personal annoyance, but a single FABRIC shower curtain means that I often found a lot of water pooling outside the shower. I put half my towels on the ground just to help soak that up. Shower pressure is fine, but I did have to turn it almost up to full heat to get warm.

This was a great find. The price was reasonable for the room we got. The style of the layout was like a motel yet the room was indoors😃. The room was spacious with an apartment sized refrigerator, a two burner electric stove top & microwave. The beds were clean and very comfortable. We really liked that connected to the hotel was a nice restaurant which served delicious food, I had the sirloin stake with vegetables. Overall I would stay again. I did not realize the hotel is connected to the Choice Hotels.

Lacks natural sunlight due to interior door & windows overlooking event space. Room needs more lights to make up for that. Bathroom area needs hooks for robes or towels and additional towel bars to hang towels to dry. Bed was very comfortable and pillows great!

Hotel was good for one night. Minimal amenities - only shampoo and dryer barely works. The room was clean and staff was very friendly and kind. The room could have used more lighting. Thought the price was high for the value but it could be what prices are right now.

The reason i chose to stay at this hotel was for the ammenties of a hot tub, pool, and kitchenette in room to cook. *The HOT TUB WAS NOT IN SERVICE! *TO USE THE STOVE YOU HAD TO BE SUPPLIED WITH THEIR POTS AND PTheyANS OR THE STOVE WOULD NOT WORK,, WHICH ALSO INCLUDED AND EXTRA CHARGE THAT WAS NOT INFORMED IN THE AMMENITIES. I liked the price. I didn't like that our room wasn't serviced during our stay. When we requested more towels, the front desk said they would tell housekeeping, but the towels never arrived. The pool didn't have any towels that were clean when we came. There's were noisy guests with children running the halls after 10pm. Didn't seem like the front desk cared about it. The breakfast was a nice contentinental style.

Nice for a cheap-o option on the road in I-80. Has what you want for a cheap price overnight crash. Not much more but why else are you in Montpelier Ohio. Super sweet staff and pretty good breakfast to boot.

The property was a little confusing as to where your room was. It was easy to get lost, but that might be me and not the hotel. My room was right above a wedding, which was loud as a wedding should be until close to midnight. The breakfast was OK. They have a laundry which was available. The dryer didn’t dry very well. My room appeared to be in an abandoned section of the hotel. There was a horrible sewage smell throughout that section of the building, including in my room. There was a huge gap under the door to the room that needed to be stuffed with towels in order to provide privacy. In the morning there was a loud explosion from the business next door, and someone joked they set off dynamite in the Quarry. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the staff was beyond friendly. There is no signage on the outside of the building with this hotel name, and we drove around for an extra 20 minutes trying to locate the hotel.

The room was very neat and clean, service was very friendly and responsive, all deserving of 5-stars. If you just want a place to sleep, with a decent continental breakfast and free tea/coffee, you can't go wrong here! It also has an attached restaurant which was super convenient. However, there were a few of things that I think are important for people to know (and I tend to look for those in 2-4 star reviews): 1. The walls are pretty thin. I could pretty easily hear the conversations, and noises, of the room next to me. 2. Wi-fi requires "registering" once on the public network. This is super common, but my problem lied with how often I would have to "re-register" my devices. 3. AC is LOUD 4. Very few TV options. They use a hyper-sanitary generic remote, which restricted it to "channel/volume up down" kinda functionality. 5. More of a personal annoyance, but a single FABRIC shower curtain means that I often found a lot of water pooling outside the shower. I put half my towels on the ground just to help soak that up. Shower pressure is fine, but I did have to turn it almost up to full heat to get warm.

This was a great find. The price was reasonable for the room we got. The style of the layout was like a motel yet the room was indoors😃. The room was spacious with an apartment sized refrigerator, a two burner electric stove top & microwave. The beds were clean and very comfortable. We really liked that connected to the hotel was a nice restaurant which served delicious food, I had the sirloin stake with vegetables. Overall I would stay again. I did not realize the hotel is connected to the Choice Hotels.

We stayed in the king suite with the pull out couch bed. The room was comfortable and seemed to be fairly well sound proofed. I mention this because my children (ages 5 and 2) were loud after spending all day in the car. No one complained about the noise and I couldn’t hear them outside the door when I picked up our dinner from downstairs. The on-site restaurant had great food! We ordered less messy food (burgers) and they were delicious! The bed was comfortable, I didn’t want to get up when it was time to leave. While there was no tub for the kids to bathe in, the shower had a decent lip to prevent the water from splashing everywhere. We didn’t get to use all of the amenities- free breakfast and pool- but the in room kitchen was helpful for keeping our snacks cold and the coffee was delicious (major help for my wife).

The room was in great if not very new state. It appears to have been updated recently. The only downside is that the AC/heater fan was noisy and could be quieter. Also the toilet was a bit lower than the standard height. I felt like I was going to sit on the floor before hitting the seat. Otherwise the room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pillows could have been a bit sturdier/firmer. Breakfast was good and hot. The attendant for the breakfast was very attentive and kept things filled. Ate at JJ Winns (restaurant) and it was awesome and very affordable!

This was a quick overnight stay while doing the route 127 yard sales. The front desk woman was wonderful and so kind. She got us all checked in with ease. The rooms are a little strange in this hotel, they all face into a center ballroom area and they have no windows to the outside. They are nice size efficiencies. Breakfast is your average hotel hot breakfast.

This was our second time staying there & the experience was as good as the first time. Breakfast is the normal scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, mini muffins, etc. One thing I’ll never understand though is why does every hotel serve frozen butter?! It’s very difficult to spread frozen butter on anything!

Very nice! The food in the restaurant was very tasty. The breakfast buffet was the usual sausage patties, eggs, waffles, etc. Nothing to write home about but decent. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Because the rest of the room was so nice, it was odd that the desk chair was in such a dilapidated condition, the shower head was a bit rusty & the towels were minimal & not very soft. But… would definitely stay here again!
