Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

What I purchased for Starr class is not what I got once we arrived. No choice of liquors in your room and the 500 credit is actually a coupon book where you have to spend a 100 to use $50 coupon. I tried to use one and was told I couldn’t use at the store on the property. One person asked us after we have been there for 4 nights if we wanted turn down service. Also, they did not restock the minibar everyday when they cleaned the room. Overall, the resort made me feel like the amount of money I spent to be there with Starr class for 7 was not enough money. They were constantly trying to sell us something all the time. I had to fight to pay our bill prior to arriving as well. We like the pool area. Also the food was not good. Only the two restraints I. The adult side were really good. The side for family and star class did not have good food and most everything was served like warm and put under heating lamps.

My stay at Planet Hollywood Hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. The hospitality was exceptional, and every staff member went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. What truly stood out was how responsive and accommodating they were. Anytime I had a question or needed assistance, I could simply send a message, and within minutes—often less than five—they had everything sorted out. That level of service is rare and made my stay completely stress-free. The team’s kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel right at home. It’s clear they truly care about their guests and take pride in providing an outstanding experience. Thank you to everyone at Planet Hollywood Hotel for making my stay so comfortable and memorable. I’d like to give a special BIG thankyou to Dana and David for all their help and support I am incredibly grateful and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and genuine hospitality.

This was our second year celebrating our son’s birthday at Planet Hollywood Cancun, and once again the hotel was amazing. The service has always been excellent, but this year we met Monserrat, who completely changed our trip. During our first dinner, she came to our table to ask how everything was. The food was incredible, and when she asked if we were celebrating something special, we told her it was our son’s 8th birthday. From that moment, everything became unforgettable. When we returned to our room, we found chocolate-covered strawberries and macarons with a “Happy Birthday” message. The next day, our room door was decorated, and at every restaurant we visited, Monserrat had arranged something special for him. On the last day, she organized for the waiters, chef, and manager to sing “Happy Birthday” and prepared a special soccer-themed cake after asking our son what he liked. Later, we found a chocolate World Cup trophy with macarons in our room. Our son said, “Everyone is so special with me,” and cried from happiness. Monserrat made him feel truly loved and celebrated. She elevated the experience to a level very few hotels can offer. Because of her, my wife and I decided we will return every year to celebrate our son’s birthday at Planet Hollywood Cancun. Thank you, Monserrat, for creating memories our family will never forget.

The resort is really big. Lots of walking! The restaurants were good but HOT 😔 Buffet is descent but nothing spectacular. My husband did enjoy the fresh seafood offered at the buffet though. Overall, it was a good resort to spend time with family at but I do not see myself returning. Rooms were great 👍
