I would absolutely stay at the Grand Joanne again. The room was warm, stylish, comfortable; the location is terrific, right next to central station, Tivoli Gardens, Glyptoteket, Planetarium and 500 places to eat within 10 blocks radius. The rooftop dj's were terrific and we enjoyed Aperol spritzers and met some fun people from Sweden on holiday. Rooftop shuts down immediately when it rains but then they move the party downstairs to the bar/restaurant. fantastic cocktails and excellent service. One of the finest hotels we've stayed at in recent years. Next to our lovely accommodations the staff was the best thing about Grand Joanne. Everyone from the front desk to the bartenders, the servers and cleaning staff were absolutely 5 star. Tak!

This property was okay. The location was great. The decor was fun. We struggled with the mattresses being too soft, there wasn't a safe in the room and the hotel didn't have umbrellas for rainy weather. The rooftop bar was meh - they didn't have many drink or food options.

We really enjoyed our stay at Joanne! The hotel is new and modern. It was close to the central shopping area as well as the train station. We rented bikes through the hotel and enjoyed the rooftop bar and cafe downstairs. The gym is super nice and modern as well. Only complaint would be the room size but that was known before booking.

What a great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is great and the hotel in general well decorated. The gym was amazing. The roof top bar got busy at times was a nice place to hang out. Great location 5 minutes walk to the train station and Tivoli gardens. Would stay here again.

Good reception and check-in. Very nice and clean room, comfortable beds. No fridge in the room which a bit disappointing. The gym was a bit small, but what was there was very nice. Breakfast was pricy, but absolutely delicious and the restaurant was nice. Absolutely not worth the money for my wife who is vegan, I hope Grand Joanne improves their options and/or pricing model there. We werent the best guests to be honest, broke a drinking glass and lost a keycard, but both times the and the reception was very quick and helpful about giving us replacements at no charge or fuss (and disabling the lost keycard).

Helt topp. Det var flere klaser med hår på gulvet på badet, det er det eneste som trekker ned på renhold. Det som ellers var litt problematisk var at brannalarmen gikk på hotellet, men ikke på rommet. Jeg forstod ikke at alarmen hadde gått før jeg så brannbilen med blålys på gaten utfor og så at andre gjester gikk ut.

Pros: The location was really easy being next to the train station and walkable to the main attractions. Style of the hotel is very cute as well! Cons: the check in was messy as they did not have my reservation. They were nice and helped me though so it ultimately got sorted out. My room also had a lot of flies (ew). There was also an item left behind from the previous person that stayed there.

Cute boutique hotel with very helpful staff. The locations is also really great. My 2 issues were that there is a lot of street noise in the rooms so bring you earplugs (luckily I always travel with some) and the room is so small there is literally no place to put your suitcase. I was in a king bed room as a solo traveler and had to put my suitcase in the windowsill, which was luckily very deep. I don’t mind a small room, and this one was well appointed and otherwise comfortable, but the lack of luggage space was inconvenient. If a coup,e was in the room it would be an even bigger issue.

Stylish, cozy hotel with great service in a great location. Fresh and lovely breakfast. We stayed in the Junior Suite and was a bit disappointed that there pas no refrigerator/minibar in the room (also because it looked like it was on the website) but there is a refrigerator in the reception you can use. When we complained we were compensated with free breakast. All in all a great hotel!

Lovely hotel close to train station. Had a standard room which was small but nicely decorated. Only concern would be what a cozy room would be like. As it like I said was on the smaller side so opening a full size suitcase wasn’t possible. And therefore suitable for weekend traveller. But would definitely come again

I’d love to stay longer next time. The place was so beautiful, the interior design was amazing, and everything was very clean. The only downside was that there were no slippers or a fridge in the room, which was a bit disappointing.

This is a nice hotel conveniently located next to the train station. We had read that the rooms were very small so we paid extra for a more spacious superior room. The superior room was small and very cramped. We couldn’t properly lay out our suitcases and we were tripping over each other the entire stay.

Oh my god the things this hotel and their staff done to make my mums trip the best she’s ever had, and we’ve done vegas lol! She said it was her best and favourite holiday and the best hotel she’s ever stayed in. They went so so so far above and beyond. Their location was amazing, they said they couldn’t compliment the staff enough. The breakfasts were gorgeous and I cannot thank them enough for what they done. She’s come back with a smile. Thank you so so much everyone!

I’ve stayed at plenty of NH properties before and this might be the best one. Located next to the train station, the hotel is extremely convenient to anyone looking to navigate the city. A few minutes walk from Tivoli garden or the meatpacking district, this hotel is in the best location in the city. Additionally the staff were excellent. They were warm, welcoming and friendly. This is a small boutique-style hotel that I found to be utterly charming. The staff were amazing – always helpful and friendly. The location is wonderful, being just around the corner from the main train station and the Tivoli Gardens. My room was comfortable and clean and the bed was good. The restaurant serves delicious Italian cuisine in the evening and has a lovely breakfast buffet. The ambience of the whole place was especially impressive. They have made the most of their space to offer their guests everything they need. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Joanne. The service was excellent and the attentiveness of the staff was superb. We enjoyed our breakfast there every morning and the quality of the buffet was excellent. They billed us for laundry on our room that was not ours and they fixed the error right away after I pointed it out. We would definitely stay there again.

Thave a lot of trouble with receptions. The reception never understand my reservation details and keep making mistakes. One time, date was not correct, the other time breakfast was not included but they request a breakfast fee, etc. Now it makes me upset, as they never listen to my instructions about the mistakes and this communication never ends for 3 weeks after my stay.

While this hotel has some good points, I can’t recommend it. The location is convenient if you're arriving by train or bus and visiting Tivoli. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the negatives outweighed the positives. Our room was on the 1st floor facing the street, and street noise woke us nightly. Higher, quieter rooms seemed available, but we weren’t offered one—possibly because we booked through Expedia and not directly with the hotel? The bed was worn out and sagged badly, causing me back pain. My wife found it very soft and overused but wasn’t as bothered. Our 10-year-old son slept on a thin floor mattress that took up nearly all available space. Online photos suggested a proper daybed, which was misleading. Hot water was unreliable, taking 15 minutes to arrive or sometimes not at all, resulting in a few cold showers. At $450 USD per night, this was unacceptable. I’m writing this from a Hamburg hotel costing less than half, with far better comfort and quality. Yes, Copenhagen is a premium market—but in this case, not worth the price. I’d look elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Just steps away from Tivoli Gardens. The restaurant below had one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had (parpdelle w/ ragu). Highly recommend it. One downside was the long distance we had to go pushing our luggage. But since Denmark hotels in general do not have porter/bell boy services (not mini-bars) I forgive them!

The property was nice, modern with great amenities. The rooftop bar was spectacular and the staff super friendly and nice. Also, if you stay there and don't eat dinner at the restaurant, you are doing yourself a big disservice. The food was outstanding, the place cozy and inviting, and the wine list good. Seriously, it was amazing.

This hotel is in a great location with a great restaurant and great service both inside and outside the room. The only setback for us was that the standard rooms are quite cozy. At some points it was difficult for two people to navigate simultaneously. That said, this isn’t unexpected…. Just something to consider in the future.
