It was a very nice resort with a restaurant, lounge, spa and pool. Close to the freeway, and shopping/restaurants. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The Spa services were amazing! My only complaint was that water is $7.50/bottle. Bring water. And there is no elevator. If you have any issues going up stairs with luggage ask to be on the first floor.

Customer service was lacking. They were “out” of multiple things food/drink wise throughout the entire weekend. Told without even a simple sorry. Just “we’re out of that”. A sorry would have gone a long way. For a facility that large that wants to be recognized for its outdoor space & pool area the hot tub is tiny & a total dud. Also so incredibly loud late on Friday night-into Saturday am. For the amount that they charge a night I can’t believe they don’t do better/more/try a little harder. Overall fairly disappointed. Not worth the money at all.

Ie you stay here make sure to bring your own Ice. I had to drive to safeway to buy my own Ice. They said that they couldn't do anything about it. Unaccebtable. Also this was the only fitness center that had no ellipticals Unacceptible.

Flamingo Resort has a Year Round Heated Pool, Excellent Dining option and is conveniently located. It has a Health Club that guests can use & has several exercise activities ongoing that one can take advantage of, including Steam and Sauna. Hotel staff can do a better job at letting the guests know of this.

I expected much more for the price we paid for our room. Apparently the hotel sells many guest passes to the pool, so the place is overrun. The pool is incredibly crowded (including with kids, so this isn't a great place if you're having an adult vacation). They are understaffed, and customer service really suffers. It's a very cool spot and would be a great stay if they could get their act together to prioritize guest experience.

The building where we stayed is badly in need of renovations. Low ceiling on stairs is very hazardous. My husband hit his head going down. Carpets especially in hallways are filthy and smell. The carpets in the room need replacing or deep cleaning. Our bathroom was not cleaned during house keeping hours.

The hotel property is nice, the pool was clean. The room itself was fine but when we arrived there were stained towels. Staff were nice and we moved rooms; the next room had a super loud mini fridge which woke my kids up throughout the night. I refilled my water in the water bottle refill machine (designated for water and ice in the hall) and the dispensed water was grey which was disgusting and obviously not drinkable. Overall it was fine, but not great.

We visit the Flamingo on a regular basis and usually have zero complaints. This visit the hot tub was very cloudy. The hallway in the 200 building has wet carpet and it smelled musty. We ordered the kids French toast and the online menu said it included fruit. Instead we got one piece of bread cut in half for $9. The prices keep going up but unfortunately the up keep on the rooms and grounds aren’t being well kept. Such a disappointment for one of our favorite spots.

Gal who checked us in was great. Love that the hotel is so festive for xmas (and throughout the year). Thoughtful things like gift wrapping station, photo "booth", etc. And supplies to buy in lobby. Like the amenities - pool, jacuzzi, gym, firepits/patio, etc. (altho didn't use this time). Rooms are clean and ok, but could be better. The concrete floors are cold, maybe faux hardwood would be better and carry sound less. Bed was sunk in and needed to be replaced. But liked the foam(?) bed topper. Two chairs better instead of chair and stool for table. Bathroom ok but not exciting (maybe different tile). Love the coffee in room, and fridge. Would be great to have microwave too. Like that there is oat milk in restaurant for espresso drinks (as I can't drink milk). Wish there was gluten free bread. And a plain/healthy food option like grain/salad bowl w/chicken.

Cute hotel. Felt very retro but in a modern way. The room has vinyl tile floors so it echoes quite a bit. There was a couch but not very comfortable. The bed was good. Unfortunately I didn't sleep much because it is loud. Like people in the hall way sounding like they are in your room loud. Could hear everytime our neighbors opened the door. It was clean however and we were able to park close to our room so that's a plus.

Great stay. Wonderful pool temperature. Good restaurant. Rooms don’t have any comfy sitting chairs so the rooms were uninviting to spend time in even though clean. Weather was cold do we were in the room more than expected. Outdoor garden heat lamps were very nice

Vibes of the location are amazing. It's cute and retro looking with a really great location. The front desk staff was friendly and there seemed to be ample parking. But that is where it ends. How this location gets away with charging SO MUCH money for a single night (2 night minimum during the summer) is wild. Walls are SO thin, they provide you ear plugs in your room. Which is all good and fine if you can wear them, I can't. I could hear full complete conversations from neighbors and people coming and going through the exterior door all night long. The curtains and blinds don't fully cover the window, so light from cars and the street shone into our room all night through these crevices. There is also a night light in the bathroom which is a great touch, until it's night and your room is extremely bright from it. Light also shines in through the peep hole and under and around the room door from the interior hallway. It's a great day-pass place, the pool looked amazing. But I would not be able to stay here again.

Room was nice, full size bed comfortable, not a queen, and plenty of pillows. No USB outlets or charging devices in room which was disappointing. The light swithches were not connected to the lamps and in November, lights are needed.

Room was clean, but it had a concrete floor without carpeting on most of it, which was cold at night for getting out of bed. Also, the tile flooring in the bathroom was slippery, and got worse when it got wet from the shower which happened with each use. The bed, however, was the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel and I slept soundly each night I was there.

Room layout was terrible. No chest of drawers to put clothes; only a half closet to hang items. Combo tub/shower was aweful. Only (2) staff members during check in caused long line. Room card keys required successive reboots. (1) reboot was due to wrong checkout date. Thin walls between rooms. Parking difficult to find on weekend. Had to park in adjacent lots. Room service did not appear until after 6:00 pm.

My husband was in the ICU and was not expected to make it. The staff was extra compassionate and put up with multiple relatives booking and extending rooms switching payments etc. They not only showed care and grace for me but were graceful under pressure when confronted by a well meaning friend who got frustrated when trying to pay the room bill on my behalf. The Flamingo was our favorite spot and will always remain mine.

The hotel itself was great however the service was terrible. For one, check in was at 4PM and we didn’t receive our keys until after 5PM which was extremely frustrating especially after traveling with a 2 year old. On top of that, I had to keep checking in with the front desk to see if the room was ready which in fact it finally was - after they said they would call me, which they didn’t. And then to compensate for all the difficulties they said they would lower my room rate, which I later found out they did not do. This was our second time visiting this hotel and we didn’t have any problems like this the first time so this was very disappointing.

This property has horrible customer service. We had a reservation for 5 nights but they cancelled 2 of the nights of our stay because they booked the hotel out for a private party. We were only notified one week in advance and had to relocate hotels in the middle of our trip. We were not compensated for the inconvenience. The check in process was also horrible. Check in time was 4pm and we did not get the keys to our room until closer to 6pm. Other than that the rooms are comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and pickleball courts. Great place for kids.

We love The Flamingo Resort!!! Our stay was perfect. However, check in was not. We asked for early check in, which we didn’t get. That was fine, no problem. Check in is at 4pm and we totally expected to get our room at that time. We asked numerous times if our room was ready and finally at 6.50pm it was ready. Not ideal when you have a toddler!!

The property was fine, but the the front desk does not answer the phone - we had a few questions prior to check in on 3/14/24 and called several times with no one answering. Once checked in, we called the front desk to get some extra blankets and no one answered the phone from both the in-room phone and and outside line.

Front desk and the so-called “resort” is an absolute joke. I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service and hospitality from a hotel. Tiffany and Ellee from the front desk made my stay absolutely terrible they were both very unhelpful and unaccommodating with my issues. There was 0 empathy on their end when I was completely stressed and upset with my room/stay. I travel a lot and stay all over and I chose resorts because I like the hospitality that usually comes with it. Makes it feel safer for me. This place is no different than a cheap motel as it comes to customer service. And beware I was told by one of the girls from the front desk that they have nothing to do with Expedia’s photos/description of the property so it’s just a scam I guess!

Super delayed check-in. Didn’t get into our room until 5:30pm. Avoid Sundays with the DJ and too many people using the pool day passes. Monday was really nice with the calm pool experience we thought we would be getting. We were given lots of extra perks to make up for the delayed check-in on Sunday but we weren’t the only ones with room issues. Some rooms were double booked. Some rooms hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Lots of unhappy guests. Apparently Hilton has just recently taken it over (3 months ago) and it feels like they are understaffed all around—but very pleasant people working there. Lots of college kids working there for their summer job.

Wow! How great to see the new look of the Flamingo! So stylish and the food was gourmet and delicious. Everyone on staff there went above and beyond to make sure our needs were accommodated. From our check-in at the front desk upon arrival, to the restaurant staff at dinner, or around the fire pit in the evening… Everyone was kind and amazingly hospitable. Well done flamingo!

We stayed five nights to visit family. We enjoyed many things about the hotel: spacious room, excellent on site restaurant, walking distance to nice shopping district. However, checking in and checking out was difficult because it can be hard to find parking near one’s room, there are no elevators, and no staff to help with luggage. Also, our room was directly above a storage room and each evening from 8-9 pm, the storage room doors slammed constantly as staff went in and out. The room literally shook! Fortunately all noise stopped early enough for a good nights sleep. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful pool.

Just right - have stayed here several times to attend or work at events at the County Fairgrounds. It is the perfect place, close and laid back. Solid rooms, okay food and drink and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend for anyone who needs to stay in Santa Rosa and likes a fun atmosphere.

This felt like Palm Springs! I loved the pool, hot tub, restaurant and general vibes. The spa was wonderful as well. I wish the cabanas had a discount if you are a hotel guest. The room was comfortable and clean and I loved the mid century mod design. I had a room away from the pool, I would imagine if your room was closer to the pool it might be a bit noisy. This was a great location central to town for meals and to several wineries for tastings.

I enjoyed the 50's/60's vibe at the property. There was a huge pool at the hotel and a nice hot tub. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The only drawback for me was the food. I only ate breakfast there but it was expensive with limited options and what I had was mediocre. I was also surprised that they did not offer iced tea! One of my daily must haves ;-)

We had a great stay. Josh in the bar was so friendly and helped us discover more things to do in the area. The pool area could use more bussing and cleaning throughout the day. Flamingo flights was kinda lack luster as most places were closed on weekdays or needed advance reservations which I had asked about but no one had told us that beforehand. We ended up just paying for some wine tastings in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. New renovations are nice. Only downside was the pool was SO packed & busy. We couldn’t even get a lounge chair. We got our $50 resort fee refunded (which was very nice) since we couldn’t even sit or use the pool. The new restaurant was amazing, staff was friendly. It was noisy at night- alot of kids running around & yelling (hello summer break.) definitely request a top floor if you go on a romantic getaway.

4 stars for the specific categories you asked about, but 5 stars overall because we just really enjoyed being there. Not perfect but so much fun! In particular, re table service in the restaurant, the individual servers were great but the system needs to be improved. We didn't know if we were supposed to get full service or order at the counter and carry out items to our table, so it was awkward. A small matter in an otherwise delightful stay.

We loved the vibe and unique aesthetic of the resort. Beautiful layout, great restaurant, and a cute, quirky room. One qualm is that this place is old, and therefore lacking modern insulation. Noise was an issue, we woke up to pounding bass through the paper thin walls. Also, the lack of room service doesn’t match the price or resort feel. The food is delicious though!
