The Nox Hotel

Stayed here 6 nights while dropping off my daughter for her semester abroad. The location, staff, facilities are 5 star all the way. Parking(reserved in advance of stay) made life so much easier. The Nox is s stones throw from the Dom and hundreds of excellent food and shopping options. Truly a magical stay!

Schönes Zimmer. Betten waren sehr gut. Allerdings gab es , wie mittlerweile in vielen Hotels, nur eine große Bettdecke. Eigentlich benötigen die meisten Menschen eine eigene Schlafdecke, da die Ansprüche sehr unterschiedlich sind. Die Badewanne im Full moon Zimmer war zwar ein optisches Highlight, uns wäre ein kleiner Tisch mit 2 Stühlen lieber gewesen. Leider war nur 1Stuhl vorhanden. Die Dusche war sehr gut. Es hat ein Kühlschrank gefehlt. Man konnte zwar an der Rezeption seine Getränke zum kühlen abgeben, aber das hat uns nicht gefallen und wer macht das schon. Die Lage war top. Den Parkplatz sollte man für 30€ pro Tag mitbuchen. Der Parkplatz befindet sich hinter dem Hotel. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt im NOX.

Hotel was, smart, clean and comfortable. Restaurant and Bar were very nice, breakfast was nice if a little over priced. Room was next to the loft which was an initial concern but this wasn’t heard once during the stay. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep that well because the room was a bit too warm and the a/c seemed intermittent and, more worryingly, we were woken by what can only be described as the elephant family above, who were stomping on the floors until 2 a.m. I’m not sure if it was the wooden flooring or a simple lack of noise insulation but the disturbance to sleep was sadly disappointing.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im The Nox. Mitten im Zentrum, wunderbar gelegen! Top Service, sehr aufmerksames Personal, man kann Fahrräder ausleihen und das Design ist sehr schön! Immer gerne wieder!

Super mooi hotel, schone kamer, vriendelijk personeel, perfect! Parkeren was even een uitdaging, gelukkig hebben we een vrij kleine auto.

What a great hotel! The location could not be better for exploring downtown Utrecht on foot. We easily walked to the hotel from the train station-with our big suitcases even. There are a lot of shops and restaurants right outside the hotel's location. The room is dark, cool and quiet (there was a little noise on Friday night which can't be helped due to the central location and there are ear plugs provided). The room is also very unique and we enjoyed looking out our window over the roof tops. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We also rented bikes from the hotel, which was very convenient. Would highly recommend!

Geen bar en restaurant op zondag

This was my first time staying at the Nox Utrecht and while room 001 was large, you could hear everything in the lobby and slamming doors from the upper floors which even the provided earplugs don't block out. The window shades don't block out the light very well, and the chandelier has not been cleaned in ages (lots of accumulated dust and spiderwebs). I'll stay elsewhere my next time in Utrecht.

Das Personal war sehr nett und.das Zimmer sehr modern, der wenige Platz gut genutzt und alles sauber. Die Lage mitten in der Stadt ist nicht zu toppen.

De kamer was echt super leuk en knus. Echter waren ze bij het schoonmaken vergeten om boven op de balken boven het bed het stof weg te halen. Ook het luchtrooster was heel stoffig. De bedden vonden we ook niet lekker liggen. En wellicht is een plankje of rekje ofzo in de douche ook wel handig voor je spulletjes.

Excellent check in,room wasn't quite ready but was shown to a comfortable seating/waiting area and brought a glass of cava while I waited no more than 10 minutes,room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable,a great stay.

De vloer in de kamer was niet schoon, ontbijt was prima, maar een vast aanbod per persoon, geen buffet of uitbreiding mogelijk. Voor dat geld zou ik een leuk eettentje in de buurt opzoeken. Parkeergarage is erg moeilijk bereikbaar, omdat GoogleMaps geen autoroute erheen kent. Ligging is perfect.

The room was very nice and confortable, the beam over the bed not dusted for a while. It is a common practice to welcome guests with champagen? or whay the people before us got it ? and not us? if it was a private thing they should have warn us.

The hotel was in a great location, we paid extra for parking it was quite a lot but worthwhile. Easy to walk everywhere, quiet location near shops and restaurants. Good decor and fittings in the room. The bar area was good , reception staff were helpful , we didn’t try the restaurant. The new moon room was very small, I’d probably go for a slightly larger one if I’d known. Good quality toiletries in the room along with coffee maker, The room was unfortunately quite dusty , even after the room had supposedly been refreshed, also no top up with complimentary water in the room either A good stay overall but quite an expensive place, I’m not sure it was value for money

Goede accommodatie, centraal gelegen. Je hoort wel als iemand boven aan het lopen is., maar dat is verder niet zo'n probleem. Verder kan het poetswerk wel iets beter.

Sehr zentral gelegen, aber doch in einer urigen Gasse. Insgesamt ruhig - aber man hört bei geöffnetem Fenster deutlich Kirchenglocken bis Nachts, da das Hotel nicht weit davon entfernt ist. wer bei offenem Fenster schläft und empfindlich ist hat da evtl Probleme. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und das Design des Zimmers ansprechend und praktisch. Dass Toilette und Dusche getrennt waren fanden wir toll und kleine Annehmlichkeiten wie zB bereitliegender Gehörschutz und eine Kaffeemaschine gefielen uns. Auch lag eine Karte mit einer Handschriftlichen Botschaft bereit, sowas ist immer charmant! Ein bisschen Staub lag auf den Möbeln- extrem reinlich war es nicht, aber alles andere erschien uns sauber. Was ich schade fand, war die fehlende Möglichkeit spät Abends noch einen Snack zu bekommen, ein Automat wenigstens um einen Schokoriegel zu ziehen wäre wirklich schön, zumal es nach 22 Uhr auch weit und breit nichts Kiosk-ähnliches gibt. Insgesamt aber auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Beautiful rooms!

Clean room and hotel. Hot shower and heated floors in bathroom. Otherwise noise level was loud, earplugs are provided by hotel which is always a sign of the noise level, mostly internal hotel/ restaurant noise. Street was quiet. Room 100 on the ground floor not recomended.

We had the honeymoon room but there was no mini bar/fridge, the tv was at an odd angle on the wall, the kettle leaked and the coffee machine in our room gave us cold coffee, if we had been on our honeymoon we would have been mortified. Fine for a standard room but too expensive for the honeymoon room. Staff were friendly and we got a coffee in the morning from downstairs but we would have preferred a drink in our room as we had paid for late checkout.

On a quiet street, very pretty hotel, convenient walk from the station. Our room was a bit snug but it was efficiently designed. Upgraded bathroom was key.

Not sure where to start with this as the hotel location was good. I booked a Full Moon room as I was travelling with a friend and wanted some extra space. We were given room 001 unfortunately which is right at the hotel entrance on ground floor. Our first issue with the room is its multiple floors. There’s a bath on a mezzanine level, then below a bed which is very tight on floor space with hardly any room to open our cases. You then go down another floor to the bathroom. This type of room is advertised as a 3 person room. I certainly couldn’t work out where the third person would go! This is not ideal but manageable. What was not ideal was being kept awake until past midnight as the coat storage for restaurant was right outside room so you can imagine the noise of people collecting coats during the night. You also had the noise of the entrance doors swinging back and forward. I did mention this on Saturday but it made no difference that night. We are now looking forward to getting home for a goodnight sleep. Overall it was clean, beds comfortable but pillows need updating. Staff friendly but when I mentioned all of the above it didn’t really achieve anything. Personally I feel they need to update the room descriptions and move the coat rack! If booking here just make sure you don’t get room 001!!

The hotel accommodations were wonderful! The staff were the kindest and most helpful people; they helped us carry our luggage into the hotel, stored our luggage until our room was ready, and brought them up to our room while we were out seeing the sights. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. I look forward to staying at The Nox again!

Comfortable room, great location, friendly staff, nice old building, interesting lighting. Let us leave our luggage when we arrived early and it was waiting for us in our room when we checked in!

Beautiful hotel with a distinctive charm. I stayed in one of the partial attic rooms with stairs going up from the door into the room and an angled roof with two windows. Space was very functional and efficient and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful in several ways

Fantastisch locatie. In het centrum maar niet meteen in alle drukte. Op loopafstand restaurantjes. Konden parkeren vlakbij het hotel. Was wel even zoeken naar de juiste poort. En het is best wel krap dus iemand die kan gidsen is erg prettig om de auto in te rijden.

The Honeymoon Suite was fantastic, it has a rooftop patio with virws of the Dom. It's close to everything, including a large bus interchange for going places outside of the center or reaching the hotel from the train station. Service was superb.

Det er skuffende, at man ikke bestille morgenmad for 2 personer aftenen inden. Det er ufleksibel og knap så gøstvenlig. Vi var på gennemrejse og bestillt hotellet meget spontant. Vørelset var en del støvet og parkering for dyrt for en p-båse, man næsten ikke kan komme ind.

Lækkert hotel, god service, excelent restaurant og morgenmad. Små detaljer på værelserne var sjuskede, fx hang hånklædeholder ikke ordentlig fast i vægen, da der ikke er blevet brugt ravpluks. God lydisolering

Prachtig hotel op een mooie locatie. Op loopafstand van winkels, restaurants en kroegen. Vriendelijk personeel en mooie schone kamers. Heerlijk ontbijt. Een echte aanrader

Locatie is goed, midden in het centrum. Mooi interieur, goed bed. Minder was, hoe gehorig het was van boven, de wc wel echt naast het bed was en de €100 borg Verder moest je aangeven de dag ervoor, of je wilde ontbijten, hoe laat én wat je dan van de kaart wilde hebben.

Beautiful old building, large room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast cooked to order. Might even be the best hotel in Utrecht
