Not value for money at all No parking very ride and unhelpful staff parking I had to pay an extra £12 for parking I rang the hotel number 4 times but picked up When I enquired the gentleman had such a stinking attitude

There was no parking at the property . The room was not clean and was bereft of basic amenities as fridge, tissue box or liquid handwash

The hotel room is dirty with stains on the walls, no bathroom floor towel for safety, no phone or intercom in the room. The noise from other room was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. My room walls was disgusting with different kind of stains that I was forced to go talk to the front desk or receptionist I requested for an iron and I was brought a dear black iron that messed up my cloths. It’s basically not for me. The receptionist that welcome me in was very professional and pleasant.

Aircon in room was broke and cpuldnt be turned off. Expelling dirty air into the room. The matresses were rotten. No topper so your straight from the sheet to the matress and who knows who elses sweat and filth. I came home with a rash.. dirty place that i will never return to

Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid This Place at All Costs My stay at Signature London Hotel Ilford was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. This place is an absolute disgrace and should not be in operation. First off, the male receptionist who checked us in had a downright nasty attitude. No welcome, no professionalism — just cold, rude, and clearly annoyed to be dealing with guests at all. Asking simple questions about check-in and the room felt like we were bothering him. Completely unacceptable customer service. But things only went downhill from there. When we entered the room, we were shocked. The place was filthy — surfaces covered in dust, a strange smell in the air, and clear signs that the room had not been cleaned properly. But the most disturbing part? There was a sanitary pad stuck to the ceiling. It wasn’t used, thankfully, but that hardly makes it any better. The fact that something like that was even in the room — on the ceiling, no less — is beyond disgusting. It shows a total lack of basic cleaning and inspection standards. We immediately went back to the receptionist to report the issue, and his reaction was infuriating. No apology, no concern, and certainly no offer to fix the situation. He acted like we were making a fuss over nothing and refused to help — no room change, no refund, nothing. Just pure indifference. This hotel is dirty, badly managed, and clearly doesn’t care about its guests. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyon

We were not happy to leave the room& come back to find the room was not cleaned. Then tone told that it was not part of the service to clean the room & change bedding if staying more than one night. We found this unacceptable service & not conducive with hotel policy.

•Condition of the room - The hotel is in disgusting state with broken fixtures and fittings, marks and dead flies squished on the walls and ceiling. •The sleep - Atrocious two hours broken sleep on a old lumpy mattress which didn't have a mattress protector or mattress caseing. • TV remote control - Arrived to the room to find no TV remote control. Asked reception for one which they did. Slight issue, however, it didn't work.

Really hit and miss; very disappointing and expected more for the price and advertised features. Loft room on the left, 2nd floor:- 1. Shower head totally crusted over with limescale, very few vents worked. 2. Shower head had no working adjuster to hold it in place. 3. Tile floors were raised and sharp; scratched foot. 4. Toilet seat was not connected to the toilet. Was on the floor. Pretty shocked at that. 5. Sink plug missing, could not fill sink, so wasted water. 6. The Velux windows didn’t seem to seal tightly so lots of noise pollution and clearly wasted heat. 7. The TV screen had been damaged and was not really watchable as had massive pixel tears right down the screen. 8. The 2 plug power-socket on the bedside cabinet was exposed – this is really dangerous for reaching over in the dark. 9. Room was generally grubby, spiders webs in windows. 10. Bed was comfortable. Room 201: 1. Shower hose is ruptured, squirts out sideways. 2. TV had no signal, aerial connection was not in, but when put back into the wall it was clearly broken - would not even tune to any digital channels. 3. Windows were wide open upon arrival. Realised this was because the room smells really bad, like smelly socks. 4. Bedside lights were not working at all, switches were wobbly. Had rooms there which have been tidier and had working and safe fundamental services (TV, Shower, Lights, electric sockets), but makes for a inconsistent and emerging unpleasant experience, with premier hotel prices.

How clean it was

On arrival all seemed well, informed about the hotel going through a refurbishment, and was informed that my room had been finished... Great !! Um not so fast, I had booked a queen room I think it was 109 as soon as I opened the door I could see a very large stain on the carpet, I thought it was odd for a newly refurbished room. Then into the bathroom and the toilet seat wasn't usable barely attacnhed the sink, shower and tiles wearnt clean. Into the bed room, wardrobe with no hangers, large gaps in the blinds, very dodgy looking stains on the towels... It goes on and on. Changed rooms, this was an improvement from the last, but still not great. Everything is in poor condition or not working at all.

This is the worst place you can ever visit in London. The room was very dirty and unclean, that we have to leave. Asked for a refund which until now we have not received. For your sanity, NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE. Unless you like dirt!

The rooms are too small. The double room was defined according to bed size. It had only a queen size bed in it. In the middle of summer the only room that had AC has no windows. If you’re claustrophobic don’t book it. It’s a small room, no fridge, no desk, nothing else but the bed. Also, no food nor kitchen service. Good street access though, loads of restaurant and convenience stores. The hotel should write these things on their site and let customers know. I felt deceived.

Very noisy and mattress very very cheap dident go sleep till 8 in the morning

Hotel entrance is hard to find if you don't know the area but it is located close to ilford Station and town centre shops. Inside is clean and decent. My room unfortunately didn't have a window and no AC and It got very hot and uncomfortable. Other than that my stay was ok. But there is room for improvement.

Reception check in was abrupt. Aur conditioning not working no fan available. No one on reception for perioids or answering call. Shower broken. Hole in carpet. Phone in room grimey. Punch holes in bathroom door. Excessive outside noise till early hours

It was the third time I was staying at this hotel and this time it was awful, the room didn't had any windows and the air-conditioning wasn't working due to that the temperature of the room became very suffocating at first we thought it will be alright but in the night it became unbearable, I went to the receptionist and asked him if it can be sorted as it's really difficult to stay in that room and all he said is we did sent you an email that says your room is 1 double room, Ensuite, no windows, so we can't do anything about it,. I tried to explain him even if it says no windows there must be an appropriate temperature of the room so that we can spend the night the air-conditioning isn't working it was looking like it's never been cleaned from years and there's no ventilation in the room. But he refused to sort that out and said we can't do anything now it's your room that you selected, even though when I was booking the room it didn't said anything about no windows only the email contains those words,. Anyways my previous visits there were good but this time it's disappointing.

Unfortunately no windows, air-conditioning worked, front desk staff were geat.

The stay for the price was very good. My only issues were the remote barely worked for the tv and air con wasn’t working (my room did have 2 room fans). A solid 8/10

Hotel was lovely and clean but our rooms electics where faulty , our bathroom light had its own disco all night and all sockets werent working , we couldnt have a tea or coffee or charge our phones , the bed wasnt very comfortable at all but apart from that all was good , the gentleman on reception when we arrived was very polite and helpful

Me and my wife arrived to check in at the hotel around 18:00. We were faced with nothing but an empty desk therefore, being unable to check in. I felt i had no choice but speak to staff from nearby shops to see if they had a contact number for the receptionist but had no luck. After waiting for around 25 minutes, the receptionist arrived and apologised as he had to nip to the shops for 5 minutes. I proceeded to say hewas not gone for 5 mins as I had be waiting for 25 minutes which he replied with ‘it was not 25 minutes, it would have been 7 minutes at the most’ By this point I felt patronised and appalled by his attitude, he done the bare minium and didn’t seem bothered at all. We were in a bit of a rush as we needed to freshen up and head back out to get to a gig at the London Stadium. Running late, we had no choice but to get an uber and spend money we never intended to spend. The room was more than suitable as it was only a place to lie our heads for the night although, my wife was disgusted with the plug hole in the shower tray which actually put her off showering. It was as if there was black gunge sitting in it. The noise levels were terrible late at night and in the morning mainly to do with the doors slamming shut. (Could do with soft close doors). Mattresses were rather firm and could kind of feel the springs however, to my surprise we actually slept ok. I hope this review has been helpful and what has been discussed will be addressed to improve this hotel.

Very satisfied Fahim at reception Very helpful

The reception area looks completely different to the photos on the listing. It looked quiet empty but was still tidy and looked clean. It says on the listing that reception was 24/7, however there was a few occasions where we were stood waiting for someone to come to reception for 10 minutes before someone come. The small interactions from staff we had, they were nice and polite. In the room, the shower curtain was missing, so we couldn't use the shower properly and there was no shower mat and we weren't able to get one. There was no towels supplied with the room until the second day of our visit after us having to buy someone as we were told we were given some. We couldn't speak to someone on reception as every time we went there was no one there. There was multiple marks on the carpet in several places that looked like round burn marks. There were also missing chips out of almost all bits of furniture in the room and quite noticeable too. One of the lights next to the bed was also broken, like the little glass 'shade' had been broken and it hasn't been fixed before we arrived and had jaggered edges. Throughout the stair well and walls leading up to the room, there was scuff marks from the floor to shoulder height and the paint was mis-matched in colour throughout (magnolia and white). It looked like it needed some attention. AC unit didn't work however we did have a fan in the room given to us from the hotel which was a bonus.

The member of staff that checked me in tried to give me a smaller room than i paid for and tried to gaslight me into thinking all the rooms were the same size and the same price when they clearly weren't. It took a 10 minute back and forth to get what i paid for. The other members of staff, however, were nice.

I loved the hotel. Everything was good. And Mr Fahim have been tremendous interms of service and hospitality. That's how it should be.

Very nice and friendly staff

Stayed a couple of nights, 2 of us. Decent enough stay. Would of had a nightmare check-in if it weren’t for Fahim upon entering.

Location was good. The bathroom door lock was not working so stayed in the room with half opened door all the time. The bed was comfortable. There was no option of breakfast.

The hotel offers convenient access to transportation and is situated near numerous restaurants, although the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, while the staff provided commendable service.

It is a great place to stay. The area is quite busy around. Station is very close to it. Very convenient.

Booked for 2 nights to go to a gig, guy on reception was very helpful, let us leave our luggage, room was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. Good location for transport in and out of main London.

I liked the hotel, it is easily accessible, tidy and quiet.

I had a little trouble finding the place as the front was very inconspicuous just look like a shop, inside was very warm and welcoming very clean and bright the receptionist pleasant, on getting to the room which was very nice found only one set of towels and one set of complementary soaps couldn't get the TV to work so went to reception on our way out and said about towels and the TV, was told that it would be looked into. on our return from the theater that evening looked like nothing had been done mentioned it once more and still nothing!! so had no television and only one set of towels to use between the two of us which wasn't all that satisfactory!!! I could have gone again but I thought twice was enough times of asking so hence my marking down of what would have been an almost perfect score

The staff are lovely and cannot do enough to help, its a budget hotel so its never going to be the ritz. Of.you are looking for a cheap overnight stay its perfect. It looks like they are working on it to raise the standard. All daid i would uae this hotel again as the location is perfect for transport links and shopping and lots of food places
