Room was clean and tidy with standard shampoo/wash soap and conditioner, the shower was a good pressure and reliable with hot water.The bed was very very comfortable and the pillows were just the right hardness , was hard to get up in the mornings as felt so relaxed with the blackout curtains that actually work. Great amenities especially if you like to work out but we took our dog and they are not to be left on their own so skipped the gym this time. The bar was very sociable with a great atmosphere and the restaurant was very welcoming and quiet when we ate which was convenient and easier with the dog. The food was good quality and not overpriced and the service from TABITHA was outstanding , really lovely lady and made us feel at home. The downside is the surrounding area was not great and I didn't feel safe walking around on my own but lots of choices and convenience stores etc close by. Overall , we loved our stay but would suggest somewhere your dog can go to the toilet if being hospitable to dogs and charging £20 extra a night and you don't want to have to make the trip out of your room , down the lift etc . Would visit again if in Slough.

Rooms too hot! We were a party of 10 staying in 5 twin rooms and all of us couldn’t sleep because the rooms were too warm. They’re centrally controlled to be 19C which you cannot lower. We managed to turn on some fans with the controls which helped a bit but those automatically shut off in the night. The duvets are too thick considering the temperature, the windows don’t open, and there are very thick mattress toppers which also compound the problem. If you struggle to sleep in any kind of heat then I strongly recommend not booking here! I found the staff member at reception very patronising. He seemed determined to address me by my first name as many times as possible, doing it nearly every sentence. I don’t know if they’re trained to do this as a way of being more personable, but I found it really patronising and irritating. The rooms were clean and spacious for the price. The foyer was nicely decorated. The rooms were quiet and parking was easy.

New building is very nice. Small rooms but efficient and nice stay. Quality gym with machines, free weights and punching bags. Breakfast was delicious with traditional English, continental and other selections. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Property is really well thought out, aimed at a younger crowd or young at heart but don’t let that put you off. All the staff were attentive, the hotel itself has everything you need and the room was perfect. Good size, clean and without fault. You get a free drink (house cocktail or soft drink) but gets you in the bar and social. Food selection is good and cooked to demand. Breakfast in the morning is also very good selection and replaced quickly. The parking is a few minutes up the road on Burlington Road but is free to Moxy guests. We will definetly stay here and at other Moxys in the future.

The hotel is in a good location, near the train station, bus routes. Excellent gym, good breakfast (if not a little disjointed as seating wasn't as practical as it could be). Staff were polite & very helpful. The room was average - no proper storage for clothes. This is fine for an overnight stay, but for a longer stay it was rather irritating. We also found the mattresses to be very soft. Final note, the hotel is extremely expensive for drinks and food. Fortunately there are lots of bars pubs and restaurants very close to the hotel.

The property is relatively new so the room is generally clean. But the room design is bad. There's only a metal frame to hang your clothes, no closets or drawers, no fridge. Worst is that the shower door leaks, making the bathroom floor wet. The tap is too close to the edge of the sink, so whenever you wash your hands, water just spills onto the countertop. But I really like the gym. It's new and very clean. I used it everyday. Lobby sitting area can be cleaner. It needs to be wiped and cleaned up more often. Overall, a comfortable stay.

We stayed as a family with two rooms, 4 adults and two children. Check-in was insistent on ID so had to return to car to fetch it. Apparently there is first come first serve free parking at the hotel (was told after check-in) however could not find this under hotel facilities on email or website. We selected to book breakfasts included to ease the morning rush. Breakfast had a good selection and variety. Some great entertainment options for the children (jenga, table tennis, fussbal) in the downstairs lounge/dining area. We experienced some road noise from the nearby main road and local petrol CHAV’s.

Was good on arrival and had good vibe to it. One of the issues I faced was I was there was 3 nights (2+1) and housekeeping was on request. I made request at front desk to for housekeeping but they didn't and thereby no cleaning, no additional towels, same old bedsheets, no coffee refill nothing.

Room surfaces not wiped / crumbs on arrival. Room was never turned over / cleaned during our whole stay which was disappointing. Ran out of milk etc - had to request this. TV kept freezing on and off. Hotel on busy road so hard to sleep at times - cars with deep bass driving past. Ironing room good with a decent iron. Hotel provide free offsite parking. Bar areas fun and novel. Hotel located well for short drive to Windsor and Legoland.

At check in, they don't tell you that you have to request daily room cleaning. There a letter on the dresser that states so. Day 1 we didn't know, but Day 2 we notified the fron desk that we wanted daily room cleaning & fresh towels. It still didn't get done until the day before check out. They "cleaned, made the bed, left fresh towels, but did not empty the trash receptacle. Again, notified front staff, & the lady apologized, agreed that this was unacceptable, & said it would be done, but it never did. We opted to place the trash receptacles in the hallway. Upon check out we complained again, only to hear another apology, & some fee was waived. We were very disappointed because we had stayed at the Moxy Heathrow without any issues, the week prior. The Heathrow location cleaned our room daily replaced the towels, & emptied the trash without needing our input. Moxy Slough needs to do better.

The room has no drawers. Living out of my suitcase for a week. No closet. Yes, there is the grid on the wall but that is rather unsightly. Almost no work space -- just enough room for my laptop but no room to put reference documents nearby. Nice shower. I separated recyclable from non-recyclable trash but I witnessed the room attendant dumping it all together in the same bag. Most of all the lack of a place to park or convenient place for my friend to drop me off and have a proper good-bye is quite poor. Food was good. Can't believe that a staff member brought me my burger one evening but failed to also bring cutlery or napkins. Front desk good. Bar good. Fitness room was OK for a hotel BUT at some point the cycle machine got pushed up against the eliptical machine and it stayed that way. The place is trendy in a hipster way but not functional I will not stay at another Moxy.

Another great stay at a very nice hotel Stayed here a number of times during our recent travels and always well looked after. Only minor issues were tv reception in rooms could be below average and wifi in rooms could vary

Rooms were bare minimum, potentially designed for the business traveler spending only one or two nights. The rooms have no storage, no drawers, no dresser, no closet. It's rough living out of a suitcase for a week like I did. There's also no in-room phone, and no refrigerator. The air-conditioning automatically cycled to off at noon and midnight every day, which during the hottest week of the year, resulting in returning to a warm room and waking up at 1 AM to turn the AC back on. No cleaning was done unless requested, which means supplies were never replenished. Room service was adequate, but twice they didn't have the menu items I ordered. Otherwise the place is hip, and overall is clean and tidy. I just wouldn't recommend it for longer than one or two nights.

Another good stay at the Moxy. Its proximity to Slough train station is brilliant for heading into London or over to Windsor. It was quiet and comfortable, although the AC is centrally controlled so despite trying to make the room cooler (as it was warm out) it didn’t work so wasn’t as cool in the room for my personal preference however, it did not disturb my sleep or my stay.

Comfortable stay, room was clean and cosy. Then only thing that stood out was i read the rooms wete sound proof but during our stay it was quite noisy, i could hear the people in the next room often. Also the shower water went from hot to cold there was not in between.

I would not stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location, near the train station, bus routes. Excellent gym, good breakfast (if not a little disjointed as seating wasn't as practical as it could be). Staff were polite & very helpful. The room was average - no proper storage for clothes. This is fine for an overnight stay, but for a longer stay it was rather irritating. We also found the mattresses to be very soft. Final note, the hotel is extremely expensive for drinks and food. Fortunately there are lots of bars pubs and restaurants very close to the hotel.

They had no room for me. I tried to ring 5 times during the day as a late check in and they never answered. No room available at midnight despite pre paying. Several other people in the same situation. No alternatives available. Had to get a £30 quid taxi to stay with a friend.

The area was very nice, lot of food places nearby as well as shops. There was a shopping centre and high street nearby which was very convenient. The overall experience at Moxy was good but when trying to order room service, we did not have a great experience at all. I ordered and was going to go down to collect due to the time, it was very convenient that it’s 24/7 for click and collect but the staff and service was poor. I went up and down multiple times due to the staff not knowing what they were doing and due to there not being enough stock. They were not even aware of what I had ordered and couldn’t find it in their own menu. I was already feeling poorly and needed food in my system, I ordered at roughly 12:50am and was told that the food was ready to collect at 1:01am, when I went down the staff member was very hostile and rude immediately. She began to tell me the food isn’t ready as it is night time but hadn’t even asked for my order number.

Amazing such a lovely time. Mentioned it was a birthday, completely forgot I did and was welcomed to a wine to celebrate. Staff so lovely and kind. Place looked amazing and also free first drink at bar. Also went for food upstairs and was absolutely lovely.

Location is excellent for train into London, station is a couple of minutes walk. Will serve you food pretty much at anytime you want, I had freshly made pizza at 1am. Hotel is very clean and modern throughout, room has aircon, also has a bit of a thunderbird theme throughout, have stayed there 3 times and is my preferred place to stay when in the area. Highly recommended. Room prices very reasonable too

What an exceptional hotel. All the staff are beyond friendly, the hotel is a fun environment, a great change from the other bland hotel chains. I took my 7 year old daughter to Legoland and told her I had booked a special hotel for the trip. On arrival there was a little tent in the room set up for her with a colouring in book and drinks, and a message on the mirror with her name on it, to enjoy Legoland. The lobby had lots of free games - table tennis, football table, and a big jenga, it was a relaxed and fun place to hang around. You can get the 702 or 703 bus from terminal 5 in Heathrow, a day ticket is only £6, and stops at the hotel, we got off checked in played some games and then went back out to visit Windsor and can back, the next morning the same bus will bring you to Legoland.

We used the hotel for getting the train into London. It is great for this. Slough station is a few minutes walk away and the Elizabeth line is wonderful for getting you into the city centre. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional. Parking was very easy. Just follow the instructions provided. Breakfast was very good.

Room was clean and tidy with standard shampoo/wash soap and conditioner, the shower was a good pressure and reliable with hot water.The bed was very very comfortable and the pillows were just the right hardness , was hard to get up in the mornings as felt so relaxed with the blackout curtains that actually work. Great amenities especially if you like to work out but we took our dog and they are not to be left on their own so skipped the gym this time. The bar was very sociable with a great atmosphere and the restaurant was very welcoming and quiet when we ate which was convenient and easier with the dog. The food was good quality and not overpriced and the service from TABITHA was outstanding , really lovely lady and made us feel at home. The downside is the surrounding area was not great and I didn't feel safe walking around on my own but lots of choices and convenience stores etc close by. Overall , we loved our stay but would suggest somewhere your dog can go to the toilet if being hospitable to dogs and charging £20 extra a night and you don't want to have to make the trip out of your room , down the lift etc . Would visit again if in Slough.

Rooms are modern and clean though the bathroom is very small. Dining on the ground floor is odd, very much on show to the world and too open. Not cheap either. Jim's is a restaurant on the 9th floor. Stunning views and modern, but food is average and not cheap. Pizzas are better from Tesco and £16 for a curry where you get 1 peice of thigh. No wonder it was empty. So much potential. Shame. Area around is a dump. Full of homeless and drunks even in the day. Didn't feel safe. We stayed for Legoland as it was 10 minutes drive at around £15 a journey. Would stay nearer Windsor next time. Staff were helpful, and polite. Nearly but not quite.
