The Abshier - Near U of A - Quiet Getaway

The neighborhood was quiet. Great view. Several restaurants within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and towels soft. Several board games available. The only minor drawback was the curtains were basically sheer so light came in but a short walk to the dollar store for eye mask solved that! Would definitely stay there again.

The house is just as pictured and was very comfortable. The beds were comfy and the house was very clean. There were some maintenance items but the management team responded within minutes and addressed our concerns. We giggled about the height of the one bed - I'm not very tall - but we really loved our stay while we toured the university.

One bedroom a got a little warm. Had to open door to get cool and no tv in bedrooms. Other than that great stay

Host was accommadating with replacing light bulbs in a timely manner. The driveway was icy and I felt after notifying them, they should have made arrangements to salt or shovel for the guest. Instead I purchased both and did it myself in order to park in the driveway. The built in microwave was broken and the owner had placed a very small microwave on the counter - so small a regular sized dinner plate would not fit inside. I made adjustments with heating my food but it seems the built in one should be replaced/workable. The unit was clean and very close to many things. A smart TV (verses cable) would have made my down time more enjoyable. With the correct cable I purchased, I was able to stream from my computer to the TV. Overall, the stay was good.

Perfect location for our visit to the University of Arkansas! It does get hot upstairs but the owners have provided a standing fan so that helped.
