Wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable room. Although the parking is close by and easy to exit it was terrible to enter even with Google Maps. But we did manage it. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived to hotel to check in and the reception serving us asked my name and then turned to answer a phone. Meanwhile we stood waiting with other customers in line for 20 mins to get checked in while he was on the phone. When I called the hotel before arriving they had said there was parking in Ruskin Square and it was free once the hotel validated it. It turned out to be expensive parking. They validate for a minimum amount the rest we had to pay we ended up paying over $100 for parking. The car park was 10 minute walk we had to take our luggage to and from the car park and up the stairs as the lifts were not working. At this point I have decided not to use hotels.com again in future as our trip overall turned out expensive and not the price quoted by hotels.com extremely disappointing and would expect a refund for parking.

One nights stay. Check in was ok, polite. Room was spacious and had all amenities. Breakfast was very good. No hot chocolate. Parking was inconvenient being 400m away accessed via underpass which is scary. Greatly reduced subsidised cost for parking for £6 for 24hr which is appreciated

Lovely clean hotel which has a fresh and new feeling to the hotel however the parking is huge issue. There is no onsite parking and the hotel recommend parking across the road which is an inconvenience as the road is a very busy road. You need to use the underpass however it’s very unsafe especially at night.

A very clean, convenient from the train station hotel. As my first time stay at this hotel I was pleasantly surprise on how well equipped the rooms were, from a good variety of hot drinks with the kettle to an iron and hair dryer in our room. Staff were friendly and I would recommend staying here.

Not the usual standard of room we have stayed in previously. Carpet was dirty and stained Bathroom floor dirty with an open shower drain, strong smell of urin in bathroom Bed was clean and comfy. Also it was a disabled room which I did not book Very disappointing, we have stayed here quite a few times and have always had a very nice room in the past.

Bed bugs - I went to this hotel for the third time as there were 2 really good stays … I will not be visiting again . Woke at 5am to find a bedbug on my bed - called a sleepy reception to then be told that he will make maintenance aware … I asked for a call for the manager to discuss what happened and what they were going to do about it and possibly receive an apology … I haven’t had a call …. Sorry but this is my experience and it’s really disappointing

Room smelled of smoke even though it’s supposed to be a non smoking . No fridge !! Which hotel doesn’t have a bar fridge. Kitchen said you can order food after 9pm but only had pizza and nothing else . Will not stay there again

Lovely hotel and breakfast was delicious, although not included in the price! The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The only slight criticism was that the bathroom smelt like cigarettes and im not sure why. I also dont like that parking is not free and its not cheap either! Breakfast was £22 for 2 days and parking was £24. It all adds up!

The worst “4 star” hotel I’ve ever stayed in! It should never be a 4* hotel. No extra pillows allowed, as we were told they would have to take them from another room! They were terrible anyway, was like sleeping on bricks! My ears were hurting they were that bad. No tea bags in the room, had to ask for them, and no fridge in the room. Towel rail fell off the wall in the bathroom, no glasses in the room to drink the water left in the room. Air con didn’t work and had to call reception to control the temperature. Hair dryer broken. Our first bedroom stank of smoke so had to change rooms. Definitely wouldn’t stay at this hotel again!

Two night stay in a standard double room which was very spacious! The only hiccup was that the AC was malfunctioning and during the london heatwave week did prove difficult to sleep at night. We were given a fan but unfortunately the AC issue was not resolved. Other than that everything else was fine, breakfast was tasty and the staff friendly.

I was told I had a free upgrade, I got to the room and the heating was not working and room was cold. There wasn't any change of room available and I had to sleep with two portable electric heaters brought up by staff, overall an uncomfortable night's sleep

Great comfortable stay. Staff all helpful and friendly when needed. Did not eat breakfast so cannot comment. Location is great to get around. Only used this hotel for the Brixton Disco Festival. Parking is literally a 3 minute walk, safe and secure. No fridge in room but could be down to booking standard room. Lovely space in room

Check in staff friendly. Room warm and comfortable. Soundproofing was good. Only negative which is minor is how loud doors are when closing automatically as some guests didn’t appreciate it was late at night…. But I would definitely stay here again. Lovely central hotel.

Nice hotel, staff were OK but I was given an accessible room, this happens on a far too regular basis with Leonardo Hotels. Whilst the room was fine an accessible bathromm is no good for me, the sink is too low and there's no shelving or anything to put your toiletries. If it was just 1 night I could put up with it but I had 3 nights booked. The bathroom also more resembles a hospital bathroom which is not very inspiring! Also the heating didn't work so I was sent an electric heater. Again this seems to happen a lot at Leonardo hotels, although I have had this elsewhere too. I used to think that Leonardi hotels were very good and reasonably priced but lately they seem to be cutting corners which is affecting the overall experience.

2 nights, booking traveling with a kid, The room heating was set up to a low-temperature 18-19C.in January. the AC thermostat was not working to increase the temperature ( was still blowing cold). for the first night in the room was very cold, next day in the Morning we have advised the reception staff and they have advised us they will look into it. when we got back to the room in the evening, was still cold in the room. we cold the reception and the maintenance guys broth to us a very small radiator. ( was a bit better but it was still kind of cold in the room ) . for a 3.5 stars and almost 100gbp per night that was a very disappointing experience, Value for the money was charged a very big minus. Breakfast was good though and the location was good as well a bit noisy as a big road just downstairs.

The hotel was very nice staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our only issue was the room was freezing. Let the staff know on the third morning and was promptly given a heater which helped. Our last night was much better.

Paid for breakfast the night before turned to to breakfast with my family the next morning only to be told we are not allowed into breakfast as our room number was not on the list even though I paid at the reception the night before after an embarrassing 30 minutes waiting while they let everyone through to the breakfast hall the 2 very very rude ladies return to tell us yes you can now go in to breakfast, without an apology for the mistake in their end , while we were initially turned away with everyone starring at us as if we were trying to claim a free breakfast . what an embarrassment the hotel staff just collected my money £32 pounds 2 adults and one 12 year old child but didn't add us to the breakfast listening.

Despite rooms available, the hotel policy is checkin no sooner than 3 pm. Or 40 gbp pay for early checkin. Another hotel policy is not to change room until the issue is confirmed by staff. In our case, it took 4 hours to change the room (strong vibration felt and heard in room, probably from ac unit nearby).

Despite a busy reception due to a local premier league football match the staff worked through it efficiently, speedily, whilst remaining professional. Special note and thanks goes to Sarah who had to put up with my booking being for a month ahead. Clearly guided me thru the re-booking and cancellation required for me to get to where I should have been. Wonderful.

We couldn’t check in for 30 mins after check in time making us miss our tickets for the museum. Was shamed by the girl at the counter for even being upset about this and told because of our room type further shaming the room we picked that it was an issue we didn’t select a better room. The bathrooms were disgusting. When asked to speak to manager about why they offered parking when they clearly did not I was told they offered discounted offsite even though the description doesn’t specify this and the size in our van wouldn’t allow us to get into the off site parking so we had to pay £30 to park privately and refused to offer any compensation towards this. Furthermore the AC they say they have turns off every hour and filters needed replacing clearly stated on our unit so I was up sweating every hour to turn it back on! I’m appalled and disgusted by the customer service and the cheek off of the staff. Do not recommend staying there unless dirty bathrooms and bad attitudes are what you’re looking for!

Enjoyed our stay and we would certainly stay there again. The Leonardo is located about a 3-5 minute walk from the train station.No need for a taxi to get to the hotel, as long as you leave the train station by the correct exit. We managed twice after day trips to leave by the wrong exit which caused an additional 30 minute walk. The front desk staff were great for us as we arrived about 11 am, to early for check in but they got us into our room about 12:30 which was fantastic as after a long day of travel, we had tickets for a play in London, so needed to to clean up and change plus figure out where the theatre was and how get there by the Underground. Room was air conditioned and all of the required necessities such as towels, soap and shampoo were available. We were up on the sixth floor so very quiet. Hotel is about 25 minute train ride from Victoria Station so don't forget your Oyster card (best way to travel quickly and efficiently.)

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in East Croydon and overall, I had a positive experience. Great hotel friendly staff and felt good quality for the price. We stayed here as a cheaper option to central London close to east Croydon train station and regular trains. Not a lot to do in Croydon itself though we found it hard to find anything other than chains so found perhaps it’s jsit not being familiar with the area but a great base if you don’t mind the 15 min train ride to London Bridge

Nice hotel. Booked an executive room and got early check in. You get 2 free bar coupons and other freebies which we appreciated. The AC didn’t work in our room and woke up a few times in the night. The breakfast bar staff didn’t want to serve us after standing their for a few minutes so we went elsewhere for breakfast.

It’s the third time we have stayed at the hotel every thing about the hotel is fantastic bar the breakfast!! It’s never been hot … but that will not stop us from staying there we may not have breakfast due to there being a Co-op being a short distance up the road. I must say the staff on the front desk were brilliant they are a credit to you well done.
