This cottage is very small but adequate for one person with little clothing and the barest necessities. I would call it tiny house living. No closet, bathroom really tight. The bed was comfortable and the cottage was clean. Hot plate, small microwave, Keurig, toaster oven and small dorm size fridge, so if you’re planning on cooking in rather than getting takeout, you may find the amenities to be rather limited. This cottage was perfect for a traveling employee who wants to avoid the “hotel” experience and looking for something more comfortable!

My wife and I came down to visit some friends for the week and stayed at Joanna’s cottage. It was perfect for us. The property was very beautiful and well kept and the cottage was perfect for us. We were minutes from friends and downtown Greenville. Joanna was amazing and the cottage had nice touches that made it feel like home, as well as incredible art! Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay for 2 people. It was exactly as described, everything was clean and comfortable. Convenient to the Haywood Mall and surrounding Greenville area. We used it as a rental for the black bear baseball tournament and it kept us within a 5 to 40 minute drive to all the field locations for anyone looking to rent for that.

I stayed here at the end of a rather long road trip and it was my favorite. It is even cuter in person, and I loved the local art! A great size for one or two people without feeling cramped or claustrophobic at all, the cottage really makes very good use of the space. For sure I will recommend it to family when going to the area for visits (we have other family nearby). Staying by myself I felt very safe, and I appreciated that the host turned some extra lights on for me since I was arriving after dark. She was around but she absolutely respected my privacy. The kitchen was more than adequate for cooking while on a trip, including supplies for coffee and tea. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioner/heater worked very quickly. I also appreciated that there was an air purifier, which makes a big difference to someone like me who has allergies pretty much year-round. The backyard would be even more charming in the spring and summer, I'm sure, but I enjoyed the birds at the bird bath even in the early winter.

My sister and I stayed here during a holiday show we were vendors at nearby at the Greenville convention center. We did not spend alot of time there but a good place to go home to after each show. Joanna was great in communicating with us and everything was clean with plenty of extra towels in the bathroom.

The cottage was perfect. Right sized for one person or a couple and very clean. Communication with the host was excellent and the cottage is fairly priced. Location is in a small, quiet, neighborhood and is very convenient to Greenville and about 30 mins away from Travelers Rest. Very nice overall experience. Many Thanks!

This little property is absolutely adorable. It's beautifully curated and well stocked. The neighborhood is obviously full of neighbors who all take good care of their property and are invested in their community. It felt very safe. I was staying alone for a continuing education course. It was about a 20 minute drive to the class and if I come back to Greenville again for further courses at this facility I'll stay here again! It was so good! The AC worked great, the hot water got really HOT and the shower pressure was fantastic. The bed was super comfy. The backyard where the cottage is is beautifully kept. The photos don't do it justice. It was perfect!

Joanna was really good about communicating with us. Check in was very easy. Location of property was ideal for everything we wanted to do. Kitchen has good basic things like electric teapot, coffee maker, hot plate, microwave, small fridge, cutlery, and dishes. The only hitch was the awkward shower, which made it hard to keep from getting water everywhere, and was difficult to aim to get everything clean.

Sweet little cottage with all that one/two people might need for a quick getaway. When booking, the property description didn’t mention the cottage in the owners back yard, but have to say there was so much privacy and we not once ever bumped into the residents. Joanna was very communicative before our arrival 2, offering for us to reach out should my husband or I need anything!! We highly recommend Clair’s Cottage! a

An amazing stay for our first time in South Carolina. The cottage had everything we needed and was in the best location for our weekend. Our host communicated everything super clearly so we had no issues all 4 days. Recommend to someone looking to stay in a calming quiet area.

Cozy little cottage in a residential neighborhood for my 5 days in Greenville. Close to shopping, restaurants and the grocery store. It was an easy drive from the airport. Joanna was the perfect host. Highly recommend!!

Joanna was really good about communicating with us. Check in was very easy. Location of property was ideal for everything we wanted to do. Kitchen has good basic things like electric teapot, coffee maker, hot plate, microwave, small fridge, cutlery, and dishes. The only hitch was the awkward shower, which made it hard to keep from getting water everywhere, and was difficult to aim to get everything clean.

This property is close to many things with easy access to a main street into downtown Greenville. A nice neighborhood location. This is a small comfortable, cozy cottage that is very quiet. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

The cottage was perfect. Right sized for one person or a couple and very clean. Communication with the host was excellent and the cottage is fairly priced. Location is in a small, quiet, neighborhood and is very convenient to Greenville and about 30 mins away from Travelers Rest. Very nice overall experience. Many Thanks!
