This property was perfect for our stay!!!! We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the grill. The house and property were very well kept. We had everything that we needed in the house. Kitchen is very nice and everything was very handy. Checking in online and talking to the owner was very positive and easy to do. Will definitely choose this property next time we are in the area. Our family of six (two teens) enjoyed staying in this country home. We used both the hot tub and pool table. In the evening, we loved viewing the hundreds of lightning bugs in the field beside the home. The location was centered between Cleveland, Sandusky, and Columbus. The Amish Country and antique shops were also appreciated. The host was easy to contact and very accommodating.

This property was perfect for us. Quiet, rural with a hot tub and ping pong table that are always wished for by my boys :)The house was neat and tidy and cozy. I have to mention the bed linens that i thought were so soft and comfortable that i checked for a manufacturer tag and ordered some from Amazon before i left :)All in all, a wonderful time with my family and we would definitely stay again

We had a lovely overnight stay.And although it was short, the home is definitely a retreat. Perfect for a quiet getaway. The home was as described as it was advertised, very very clean and homely. It has all the amenities needed.The teens enjoyed the table tennis and dart board.We will be back again.Thank you Clint.

This house was fully stocked for a comfortable stay. It’s newly remodeled. The kitchen was great and they supplied coffee. The bathrooms had nice towels and wash cloths. The beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. The hot tub was so relaxing and a nice bonus. We even used the washer and dryer. We enjoyed a game of ping pong and darts in the garage. I would highly recommend this house. It was secluded and private. A beautiful view of the river from the front porch. The back yard had the hot tub and nice patio lights with a gas grill.

The house was very nicely re-done, we enjoyed the hot tub, wi-fi was strong. Used outside back patio, the house was in a very private area. Communication with owner was very prompt. Will definitely return.

Nice, somewhat hidden house. Quiet location despite being able to see a fairly large industrial complex in the distance. House was clean and comfortable though pretty small. We didn’t use the kitchen other than the refrigerator and coffee maker (with owner supplied coffee) so I can’t speak to how well equipped it was. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We were here for a family reunion and the house was just 2 miles from our venue. Everything was ready for us upon arrival. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day. Check out was easy. Only issue was ants in the kitchen. Since we weren’t eating there, I just informed Mr Bowers before departure. Would recommend.

When entering the home so refreshing and modern updates. We also enjoyed sitting out on the front porch. Nice having the washer and dryer. Enjoyed the ping pong table. Very quiet inside which is what we were looking for. The bed though in master had a long hard lump down the middle. Even with that I’d give our stay a 10 out of 10. Thank you—

We spent one night here while we visited the area with a friend. I was very impressed with the place!!! It looks like it was recently remodeled and it was very well done!!! Group of four visiting Strasburg to help my brother celebrate his 80th. Property was less than 2 miles from his home. Also, 15min to Norma Johnson Nature Center where we tried to walk off all the food that my sister-in-law cooked and another 15 past there to Sugar Creek, Berlin and Amish country. Home was clean and neat, easy to get to, easily accommodated our group. Hot tub looked good, but we were too tired by the time we got home to make use of it. My mattress was comfortable and everyone said that they slept well. Used the kitchen for a couple of breakfasts, had everything needed and a good coffee maker. Roku television had streaming service apps, but no cable box for standard channels. WiFi was good. Owner sent a couple of e-mails to check that everything was OK. And it was. Perfect for what I wanted for a long weekend.

Riverside retreat was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. We had a blast playing ping pong and darts. The hot tub was ready to go on arrival, however we didnt use due to weather. There was a house next door but the privacy was maintened well and the hot tub was secluded. Would recommend and stay again if ever in the area.

This cute home has been completely renovated with all the amenities you’d need to step away from the hustle and bustle. Not far from Berlin/ middleberg Amish country and in Strasberg the most delicious little diner called the Canal Street diner. We definitely will be coming back.

Just the quiet retreat we needed without actually leaving civilization! Clint was responsive and helpful without being intrusive. My 10 year old LOVED the ping pong table! The layout is great for families. Definitely would stay again.

This home is beautiful - very clean and comfortable. Just off the main road yet quiet and private. Just what we wanted in a beautiful setting overlooking Sugar Creek. We would definitely stay here again!

The Riverside Retreat was a respite from the noise of our lives. We enjoyed the clean, well-supplied VRBO space. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Strasburg and the surrounding area. If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution.

Loved the location, very quiet with a nice view. House was very clean and hot tub was wonderful. Check in was easy and host was very quick to respond to messages. Would definitely stay again when we're in the area.

Loved that it was in town but had that out of town feel. Bike path close by, next time plan on renting e-bikes.

We enjoyed our stay at Riverside Retreat! Extremely clean and comfortable! It was so peaceful and relaxing! Our grandkids enjoyed the hot tub, in addition to their ping pong competition every night!!! We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area!

Totally what we were hoping for! We ate dinner on the front porch overlooking the river. Spent our days visiting local wineries and our evenings relaxing in the hot tub. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. Check in and out was so simple. We will be back!
