Very cute cottage with a fire pit in the backyard! Quite neighborhood and a short walk from the historical train station. Was perfect for our stay, as my brother lives a few miles away and had a houseful for my nephew's wedding. If we need to stay again, we will be sure to reserve again! Thank you!

Immaculate, well designed home. So nice to have 2 BR 2 Bath. Nice back deck, Firepit and a front porch. Coffee bar was such a a nice touch. Great communication with owner. Will stay again when in that area!

The Victory House was the perfect location for us to stay while attending a wedding reception in Hickory. We had everything we could have wanted, nice kitchen, well appointed rooms and two quiet and relaxing outside sitting areas. Coffee on the shaded front porch helped us ease into busy days and the firepit in the back was a nice place to unwind at the end of the day.

This property was immaculate!!! Everything was absolutely pristine. The home had everything new, appliances, cabinets, granite counter tops and had everything in the kitchen that you would want or think of. The towels were plush and the water pressure in the shower was good. No problem w/hot water it was instantly HOT!! They even had a nice backyard w/Adirondack chairs n a fire pit. We had a wonderful visit. Close to Lake Norman, 20-25 mins away. Hickory 20 mins away and the mountains at Blowing Rock n Boone about 1 hr 15 mins. North. You are about 5 mins from a Wal Mart for food shopping n a small downtown w/a nice restaurant/bar called B-52’s also 5 mins away. We would definitely recommend or stay at this property again.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The location was great with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The house was super clean and had every utensil you would ever need plus a complete spice cabinet. The wifi was over 400mbps download too. We will stay here again when we visit the area. Thanks!

This stay was perfect. Home was extremely clean, and close to anything that was needed. Plenty of hot water in showers and living room was very cozy. Would recommend the stay for anyone with a couple of kids to stay in the hickory area.

This house was so cute and so clean! There isn't much to do near the neighborhood, but we were attending a wedding in Maiden and it was a great location to both the wedding and Lake Norman. The house was immaculate ( no exaggeration!) The keyless entry was perfect! Can't say enough about this adorable little house!

Very comfortable and cozy. Loved the extras- variety of coffee, special note and muffins. Very soft bath towels and it’s nice to have hooks in the bathrooms. Finally a place with many outlets for all the electronics! Kitchen was stocked with anything you needed and a Walmart just a few minutes away. The access pad to the house was easy to use for entry and lockup. We appreciated our special request was accommodated. Highly recommend.

Visited Newton for Thanksgiving and family that lived in Conover. The cottage was easy to find and just like it stated. My husband, brother and law, and myself were able to hang out, sleep and get ready with ample space and it was also great for our pet with the large outdoor space!! If traveling to Conover/Hickory will definitely stay here again!

Immaculate, well designed home. So nice to have 2 BR 2 Bath. Nice back deck, Firepit and a front porch. Coffee bar was such a a nice touch. Great communication with owner. Will stay again when in that area!

This cottage was cute and comfy, with lots of little updates and personal touches that made our stay extra special. Starting with the chalkboard welcome sign, we felt from the beginning like things were set up just for us. The homemade blueberry muffins were a sweet touch, as were all the little necessities in the kitchen (coffee, filters, Brita in the fridge, etc.) and the bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer). We had a bit of bad weather during our stay and ended up with a few extra hours just hanging in the house. The living room proved quite comfy for watching a movie while we waited for the rain to end. Finally, we are very grateful to Angela for agreeing to allow us to bring both of our dogs. They were very happy to be with us, enjoying Bark at the Park for a Hickory Crawdads game, as well as a little hike in the Lake Norman area. This cottage was just what we needed. We highly recommend it for a Catawba County visit!

The house was amazingly clean and very cozy. It was equipped with the important necessities for guest/s. Great communication with the host. This is a wonderful, clean cozy cottage, and the backyard is cute too! I had a quick question for the host and she called me back within 5 minutes. Cupcakes, coffee and water were a great plus. There was a paper on the refrigerator that gave info about best places to eat, visit and explore. Very helpful. If we are back in this area would definitely stay here again.

I had never heard of Newton, I was in town to visit Hickory. What a sweet surprise. Not only is this home clean, comfortable, and beautiful, but the town is in a revitalization upswing. From the rocking chair front porch, you are only about 1.5 miles from incredible Peruvian food, awesome art galleries, and shops. The Newton Greenway was a great place to take a great walk in nature. Hickory was less than 10 minutes away. The host was incredibly responsive and so gracious. I cannot recommend the comfy cottage enough.
