This was a very nice/clean home surrounded by other similar homes that made it a comfortable vacation community. The view of the ocean and easy accessibility were amazing. Our only issue was that we are a little aged and had trouble figuring out how to work the TV and appliances, there were no instructions, we were able to use YouTube and neighbors. I would recommend this for a trip to Gold Beach.

Porter’s Paradise had everything we needed for a week at the coast fishing & enjoying! It was really good to have the washer & dryer in the unit to wash clothes as needed. And a nice kitchen & deck area to enjoy dinner with a Beautiful ocean view!

This house is a nice size, with up to date appliances, and a comfortable layout! Only complaint is that the main bedroom does get loud with passing cars on the busy highway in the morning, but I had already read that in previous reviews. Not a problem if you’re an earlyish riser (7am). The WiFi was also fairly slow, but it worked! Great place- would definitely stay again!

The location was nice for exploring the SW coastal area and drive to Crescent City, CA for the Redwoods. Cute decor throughout the house, and the kitchen was supplied with lots of cook ware for preparing meals. It was an easy walk to the beach and the sunset views from our deck were beautiful.

We loved the house and the beds are very soft, yet the bedding had hair all in it ( consider bringing your own bedding) they have a comfortable couch but it’s fabric so it was a little dirty ( consider bringing a couch cover). The showers were the dirtiest part, there was hair and build up on the lower walls ( bring a cleaner and a sponge). Great view when the weather is nice and it has great access to the beach along with 2z pairs of great binoculars. The sliding doors aren’t very sound proof but that’s wasn’t a problem for us. There is no screen door on the porch sliding door so if you have pets consider bringing a gate.

Second stay at this property, previous one was earlier in the season. The view and weather couldn't be beat. What was surprising and slightly disappointing was how much road noise and how loud it was most of the night. It was not that way previously and speaks to how much traffic there is, including logging trucks, peak season. All the amenities are there. Cleanliness factor was a little less than previous also. Otherwise great location in Gold Beach just across from the public beach and a short walk.

Smelled of dog urine. Rugs were still wet with urine. One bed had urine stain. We had to wash bedding, take the rugs outside and clean the floor. We told the host and they said they would send someone, but no one came. There doesn’t seem to be anyone local to take care of things. It’s unfortunate because it is a cute place and great location.

Perfect little place right on the edge of town. Right across from the visitor's center, so quick to get to the beach. No steps to contend with, which is rare for the beach views! Clean and well appointed for a relaxing girl's trip.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Front bedroom does get a lot of noise from the highway. Home had nice appliances and was within easy walking distance to the coast and downtown Gold Beach. Communication with the Vacasa staff was great, with most issues easily resolved.

The home yad view of the ocean, but it was partially obstructed by utility poles and cables, as well as some trees. The home had ample room and good heating and appliances. The beds were not comfortable, and the living room furniture and kitchen stools lacked comfort. Neighboring units were very close and there was a lack of privacy. Parking was limited. The biggest issue was that it was very noisy due to the proximity of the home to the highway which had an abundance of traffic, especially logging trucks. The noise was intermittent but still noisy in the nighttime and early morning sleeping hours.

Place was adorable, across the street from Gold Beach Access, miles of beach front to walk. Yes it’s across the street with the main road in front I had no issues with noise can always sleep in back bedroom if noise sensitive but not much car noise at night. Definitely can cook nicely in kitchen & very roomy We loved it!

Loved the view of the ocean from the living room/bedroom and back patio. We walked to beach and to coffee/restaurants and some shopping. Felt very safe the traffic from highway was an afterthought. Totally worth it.

The beds and furniture were comfortable the kitchen had enough cookware that was in good shape. The host responded fast to text but did not accommodate our wish for dishwasher soap and laundry soap and requested we use the dishwasher and to start a load of linen before we left. I also requested some new swifter pads since the one on the machine was dirty. Having a dog who was playing on the beach caused dirt on the floor. I did have access to broom. They provided dog towels and a dog bowl. I have never stayed in a place that didnt provide soap for the dishwasher and laundry especially when they wanted them used. The other thing that caused issues is the main hwy was under the unit so the traffic noise was an issue with sleeping and enjoying the patio.

When we arrived we were totally surprised to find the house was right on highway 101. My fault I suppose for not looking at a map before booking. The house was adequate but the traffic was relentless all night. But then….. the next morning smoke from a wildfire came in so thick the city was warning everyone to stay inside. We were 300 yards from the beach and couldn’t even see it. It was imperative that we got out, for our health. I called Vacasa to find out what our options were. The reply, “I will have to look in to the smoke situation and call you back…. Ugggg To make a long story short.. I spoke with 4 different people and they could not have been more indifferent with the exact same scripted response .. It has been 3 days and have still not been contacted by Vacasa.

This property was perfect for us- walking distance to the beach, close to town, in a quiet area. The home was very clean and easy to check in to, and it felt very cozy to come back and relax throughout the day. Highly recommend!

The location was nice for exploring the SW coastal area and drive to Crescent City, CA for the Redwoods. Cute decor throughout the house, and the kitchen was supplied with lots of cook ware for preparing meals. It was an easy walk to the beach and the sunset views from our deck were beautiful.

Very clean, well appointed, little tight for 4 adults. Best for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great for beach and sunsets. Only problem is traffic noise even in October. Many trucks use nearbye road after 3 am in morning. Would go again but take earplugs.

Lovely newer home with a great floor plan. Clean and well maintained. That said, the location is terrible and the traffic noise ruined our stay. We left a day early. To9 bad, its a really cute beach house.
