Manor on Terraview/Hot Tub/7br/ 7,200sqft

This was a major let down for the price of this property. We experienced a rainstorm which flooded the basement. The host responded quickly to clean up the water but fans used to dry it out left the basement unusable for the remainder of the stay. The host stated that they had a little water in the past but not much. It was clear from dehumidifier that was running constantly, the portion of the flooring that was coming up and the sectional of replaced drywall where is was clear it had to be replaced from water damage that he was not being truthful. This left us concerned that mold was likely in the basement as a result of neglecting the problem. The upstairs hallway also had water from the rain and the host said this was the first time that had happened. Not sure if that was true or not. We also found a bird in the fireplace, which the host did send someone to remove. Overall, the host was responsive but the house is in need of a lot of work. It lacks proper lighting in a number of rooms and the carpeting and furniture are worn out. Positives are the bedrooms were as described and the beds were comfortable. Checkout was very easy.

This place had lots of room for everyone to spread out. It was just what we were looking for.

Great place, we loved our stay there. Perfect for our club trip to the Packers Eagles game.

Check-in went smoothly. Our guests loved the arcade room, foosball, ping pong and pool table. Master suite is very nice. All questions were answered promptly by our host. Our guests mentioned that the cleaning wasn't as expected, the kitchen was not well apportioned for a house that can sleep 16. One guest upon getting into bed felt the bed shift - the slats under the bed were broken so he had to move to another bedroom. 3 teaspoons, cereal bowls all chipped. The appliances in the kitchen although top rated brands are all very old. Fan does not work on the stove. Our 4 year old grand daughter got snapped by a mouse trap. You will need to fill the hot tub several times during your stay. Although charcoal was provided it wasn't enough to cook for a crowd - we are glad that we brought our own. We were glad that we brought crockpots, griddles and large serving bowls and plastic utensils. We did enjoy our stay but expected more for the price.

We loved having a large house for our team retreat. Overall the stay was good, but there were a few things that made it not a 5 star stay... we spotted a mouse in one of the bedrooms (expected in a large house in the area, but still didn't love it). They brought traps, but the person staying in the room where it was spotted wasn't comfortable staying in the room the second night. There were also a couple broken items in the house - including the blinds in the primary bedroom and one of the cabinets in the kitchen that was broken off the hinge. Minor things that should be checked and taken care of in a rental before new renters arrive. Overall it was an okay stay. I probably wouldn't book the space again, but it was good for what we needed.
