Felt rushed and chaotic. Our room was already prepaid but told it wasn’t and was rushed into paying again (refund still not gone through). Owner apologised for the staff member mistake and a refund has been attempted.

Clean, spacious room. Friendly check in. The continuous “drone” of something, maybe a boiler, throughout the night, making the use of ear plugs necessary, for a light sleeper, took the edge of our stay - room 1. There was no problem with the road outside or the customers from the pub.

Everything was just perfect. Smooth checkin, the staff were really welcoming and approachable. The room was spotless, spacious, the layout was well thought out and the bed was very comfortable. It was great to have a proper big bed instead of two put together as some hotels do! Really handy to have a little kitchen area, especially the fridge. We had the tasting menu for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Everything was delicious, excellent quality and beautifully presented. The restaurant area is a cosy, welcoming space and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. I would definitely recommend, if you do book a room, make sure you eat here too as it really is special.

Really lovely place to stay. Staff Friendly Food Excellent Accomodation Clean & Comfortable. Nothing was to much trouble for the Staff.

Lovely little apartment/hotel over a nice bar/restaurant in the middle of Barmouth.
