The property was as described, nicely stocked and very clean. The host, responded very quickly to any questions we had. We enjoyed a fire at the firepit almost every night, it is very peaceful. The dock and kayaks available were fun to enjoy. The hot tub had some mecanical issues but that was no fault of the host, he tried very hard to get it fixed and kept us informed of the issues. We had deer in the yard every morning which our grandsons enjoyed. It was very close to the Ark Encounter. I even forgot something and the host responded and was getting it sent back to me. I recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.

Enjoyed the dock and went fishing (need more poles and tackle). Made fire (need a poker). Hot tub was nice. Enjoyed the view of lake. Found everything ok. Would’ve liked tissues, a few more towels and sugar and creamers. Really enjoyed visiting in living area during evenings. Would’ve loved softer lighting and fireplace. Overall wonderful time.

Owner was very quick to respond. We received check in instructions and it went smoothly. The best part was the covered dock where we ate and fished and enjoyed our quality family time. We also loved the fire pit. Wood supplied would have been nice. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Great location for our Ark Encounter and Creation Museum visits. We found the local restaurants in this town and Dry Ridge to be accommodating to our family size. We had a wonderful 3 nights.

The adults and teens in our party really enjoyed this great lake house! The kids had so much fun with the kayaks and everyone enjoyed the pool table and lake. We also enjoyed seeing the wildlife - deer and turkey. Would definitely stay there again the next time we are in the area!

We loved our stay at the lake! We visited with anothe rcouple and our four children. The kids loved the hot tub, boating on the lake, and all the games. The new stairs down to the lake were amazing! We had a great time and the house was more than ebough space for the 8 of us.

We booked this home as we were visiting the Ark and the Creation Museum with our grandkids and it worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great for making s’mores. The unit was clean and comfortable.

Stayed with my family of 4 for 3 nights. Enjoyed our stay very much, there’s something to do for everyone. Went to the ARK, kayaked on the lake, played darts and shot some pool. Hot tub was lovely. We relaxed by the fire pit and experienced a lot of nature most especially we liked the Eastern screeching owl, we found its call on YouTube and it would fly around and call back to us. Deer and cranes are all around. You can also search for clams in the lake. The host (Donny) was wonderful and a great communicator. I would recommend this property. Cindy

Cabin is exactly as described very quiet, peaceful and relaxing cabin. Has everything one would want. The grandkids especially enjoyed kayaking on the lake and fishing. We enjoyed having a family billiard tournament. We were there in enjoy Ark Encounter and the cabin was ideal and close. Donny was an excellent host and apologized for the work being done on the road during our stay.

Very quiet and relaxing. Everything was clean and tidy. We spent a couple days at the house fishing and swimming, lots to do without having to leave the property. Shower curtain in basement kept falling down as well as the clothes bar in closet. We were able to fix the one in the closet, but not as successful with the shower. Also there was no Kleenex or soap in the bathrooms and only one hand towel. It was pretty property and the upstairs was nice. We cleaned up branches from back yard. Overall it was ok.

We stayed at the property for 5 nights, while visiting attractions in the area. It was clean nicly decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed time on deck around the fire pit and played some pool and darts. Rain [ about 4 inches ) prior to our arrival made for poor fishing, but we still had a good time trying. We had excellent communication with the host throught the stay. Setting was pretty and we enjoyed just looking at the lake. We would recommend this host amd property and if ever in the area again would definitely book here again.

Great little getaway in Kentucky! We were in town to check out the Ark and Big Bone Lick, and we always love staying by the water, so this place was perfect for us. We've stayed at several rentals before, but this place has to be one of the cleanest. ccleanesWould definitely rent here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The basement was always cold. If thermostat raised, too hot upstairs. Suggest space heater for basement. Change light fixtures in master bedroom. If cleaning service unplugs fixtures, have service plug them back in. It is very difficult for a 75 year old person to get underneath bed to plug back in. Additionally, switch to lamp was underneath the bed.

Wonderful setup. Son and his family stayed upstairs and my husband and I took the bedroom (with full bath) downstairs so we each had our own space. Fishing off the dock, beautiful scenery, making smores over the fire pit and easy access to The Arc Encounter. Absolutely perfect vacation. Nobody in our group was ready to leave. Thank you for an amazing first experience with VRBO - you were wonderful to work with!

Nice little house with a pretty view of the lake. If it had been warmer the property would have been more fun because we could have gone swimming. Only gave the neighborhood 4 stars because the road down the hill is fairly rough, something I don’t think the property owner has any control over. We would stay again for sure.

We enjoyd our stay and the property was kust as described. Checking in and check out were convenient. Rooms, beds, and bedding were all fine. We didn’t get the opportunity to use most outdoor features due to rainy weather. Never got down to the dock or into the hot tub. The only negative is that the property is on a steep spope which made it difficult to get to the downhill features (lake, dock, fire pit) specially when wet. Parking was also a challenge as it’s somewhat steep and narrow gravel.

Beautiful home, beautiful lake. The gravel road to the property is rough but scheduled to be worked on soon. Be sure not to drive a low sitting car until the road is fixed. The owner was very nice and responds to messages quickly. We would love to stay here again.

We went to Kentucky to celebrate my birthday. Didn't really know what to expect, although the pictures were nice. We arrived and although the road in was alittle rough with speed bumps in the gravel and 5mph, I could see why. Once we arrived at the property and checked in, we were totally satisfied . Everyone loved the rental and said we should of stayed longer. The host hands down was totally AWESOME! We would definitely stay again. Thanks Donny for allowing us to stay at your property. 🙏😊

We booked this home as we were visiting the Ark and the Creation Museum with our grandkids and it worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great for making s’mores. The unit was clean and comfortable.

Stayed with my family of 4 for 3 nights. Enjoyed our stay very much, there’s something to do for everyone. Went to the ARK, kayaked on the lake, played darts and shot some pool. Hot tub was lovely. We relaxed by the fire pit and experienced a lot of nature most especially we liked the Eastern screeching owl, we found its call on YouTube and it would fly around and call back to us. Deer and cranes are all around. You can also search for clams in the lake. The host (Donny) was wonderful and a great communicator. I would recommend this property. Cindy

Cabin is exactly as described very quiet, peaceful and relaxing cabin. Has everything one would want. The grandkids especially enjoyed kayaking on the lake and fishing. We enjoyed having a family billiard tournament. We were there in enjoy Ark Encounter and the cabin was ideal and close. Donny was an excellent host and apologized for the work being done on the road during our stay.

Our 4 person family (parents and two younger teens) stayed for the week while visiting the arc, museums and Cincinnati sites!! This is by far the best vrbo experience I have ever had. The furniture was comfortable. The kids loved the pool table, darts and games. Full sized kitchen and washer and dryer. We loved the grill and hot tub. The roads were gravel, but we don’t have 4 wheel drive and made it fine. Even the pizza delivery guy in a small car made it in and out safely. Just watch for the speed bumps. There was only one adult-sized kayak. But two smaller adult (under 130 pounds) or child/young adult. Fully supplied with hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps etc… overall great experience and would highly recommend.

We enjoyed the house and amenities. Everything was clean and new. The hot tub and fire put was enjoyable . Very comfortable beds. Host was very easy to reach and communicate. We visited the Ark Encounter which was 10 min away.

Owner was very quick to respond. We received check in instructions and it went smoothly. The best part was the covered dock where we ate and fished and enjoyed our quality family time. We also loved the fire pit. Wood supplied would have been nice. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Great location for our Ark Encounter and Creation Museum visits. We found the local restaurants in this town and Dry Ridge to be accommodating to our family size. We had a wonderful 3 nights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was comfortable, beautifully updated, lots of room, nice lake front experience, quiet, near small town experience but also close enough to the airport, great distance from The Ark and The Creation Museum.

Nice little house with a pretty view of the lake. If it had been warmer the property would have been more fun because we could have gone swimming. Only gave the neighborhood 4 stars because the road down the hill is fairly rough, something I don’t think the property owner has any control over. We would stay again for sure.

We enjoyd our stay and the property was kust as described. Checking in and check out were convenient. Rooms, beds, and bedding were all fine. We didn’t get the opportunity to use most outdoor features due to rainy weather. Never got down to the dock or into the hot tub. The only negative is that the property is on a steep spope which made it difficult to get to the downhill features (lake, dock, fire pit) specially when wet. Parking was also a challenge as it’s somewhat steep and narrow gravel.

We went to Kentucky to celebrate my birthday. Didn't really know what to expect, although the pictures were nice. We arrived and although the road in was alittle rough with speed bumps in the gravel and 5mph, I could see why. Once we arrived at the property and checked in, we were totally satisfied . This property had all the amenities my family was looking for. So much so that we could have stayed at the property for our vacation instead of visiting area attractions! There were definitely days, after sightseeing, that my family wanted to return to the property and crash. One thing I came to find -- to no fault of the property -- is that there wasn't any AT&T cellular coverage once you got into the wooded area. It wasn't a big deal, but meant we couldn't map the route to our destinations until we drove past the gravel road leading to the house. Other carriers might have been ok.

Overall this place was great, close and convenient to what we wanted while giving us the luxury of being in a home rather than a hotel. My husband, myself and our five children fit perfectly in this home. The kids enjoyed the pool table and darts and of course the amazing view.

Nice place to stay, we enjoyed the fire pit so much as well as the hot tub. The instructions on the refrigerator were helpful. If you are mold sensitive be aware there seems to be a source in the basement and a bit of musty area.

The hot tub was ready to go. We were able to check in a bit early, which helped with traveling from out of state. It is also very close to everything we planned to visit! The only knock was the road to the property, but we managed and it’s not the owners fault.
