The Santos Family Farm was outstanding in every way. Everything worked and nothing was broken. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location and view were great. The outside gazebo is perfect to sit and enjoy the day. This is a working farm. There are chickens, goats and cattle to entertain without being intrusive. A five star in every way.

10.0 perfect score! This place is beautiful inside and out. The view is incredible and it was so quiet and peaceful. The location was great: close to stellar wine tasting, small grocery store in Yamhill, nice restaurants in Carlton, etc. We really enjoyed the spacious rooms, patios, and washer/dryer. We even bought some fresh eggs from the farm and made a lovely breakfast one morning. Parking is behind the building via a large circular drive. There are a few stairs, but you aren't going up an entire flight of stairs even though you are staying on the 2nd floor. It was easy to get luggage up because the stairs are wide. I would definitely re-book this location and recommend it.

This has been one of the best places we have stayed!!!! The floorplan/layout is beautiful!! All the large windows allow you to capture the beauty of the outside! It is a working farm and it was nice to see everything? I got to meet one the Great Pyrenees, Deliah which made my week!! I looked forward to seeing her and I am assuming she did too as she would gallop to me!! We got to meet the owners who were as nice as can be! The top floor, where we stayed, is all updated with all updated items! We cooked a couple times and it was perfect! We sat outside on the little balcony overlooking the farm and flowers, with the amazing weather we had... we couldn't have wished for anything better! We hope to go back and get the same place!!! They have their own little private parking with a charger for electric vehicles if you need one. The closet space!!! I WISH I had that closet space in my own house! And again, the windows were huge! Stay here!

Very beautiful setting and residence. It was very tranquil with lots of space for relaxing. The grounds were very well maintained. We enjoyed walking around the farm playing with the baby goats and seeing and hearing all the sounds of nature. A great place to get away from the activity of urban areas.

The unit is quite large and spacious. The farm was very quiet and had alot of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the views. Definitely a hidden gem. The electric car charger was so convenient and we would definitely stay here again.

We woke up to stunning views of cows on rolling hills, vineyards and Fall colors. We loved staying at this clean and spacious property. We had an animal loving 13-year old with us who made friends with and LOVED all the farm animals.

The Santos Family Farm exceeded all expectations. The pictures do not do the property justice. We were blown away by how clean and new everything was! The kitchen was beautifully appointed, with little extras like Extra Virgin Olive Oil and spices, as well as coffee (100% Columbian!) and a coffee maker. We had all the supplies needed to cook a wonderful meal. They even provided a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy! The bathrooms were spotless with the half-bath containing a washer and dryer with laundry detergent. Truly above and beyond! Oh, and the bed! So incredibly comfortable! The mattress and bed linens felt like we were sleeping on a cloud! The inside was truly impressive, but I must say that the property itself was so peaceful and gorgeous! We fed goats, watched the sheep graze, listened to the chickens and ducks carry on with their day, but my favorite was getting to hang out with Samson and Delilah, the two Great Pyrenees dogs onsite. They were both delightfully sweet and I was so happy to get some puppy love while on vacation. :) The location was perfect, with wineries all around, local farm stands for fresh produce and baked goods, and hiking and beaches within a couple hours' drive. We even popped into Portland for an evening dinner with friends. We have nothing but positive things to say about Santos Family Farm and will definitely be back!

The property is beautiful. The place looks brand new inside. Kitchen has all of the amenities expected and all appliances look brand new. The bathroom is very roomy with a large shower. The entire place is exceptionally clean. The views are dramatic. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Santos Family Farm was absolutely amazing! . The property itself is a true gem—nestled in nature, it offered the perfect balance of comfort and charm. The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals and enjoy family time, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor adventures. We especially loved the porch and huge windows, where we enjoyed morning coffee and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The farm itself was a dream! We had the chance to meet some of the animals which was such a fun experience for the whole family. Communication with the hosts was seamless—they were incredibly helpful, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. If you're looking for a tranquil and unique retreat, I can't recommend Santos Family Farm enough! We’ll definitely be back. Will be booking this in the future for our getaways .

My friend and I took a girls trip to Willamette Valley for the wine and were blown away by the beauty of the area. Our stay at Santos Family Farms was incredible. The place was well stocked with everything needed and was immaculately cleaned. We definitely enjoyed our stay there.

One of our favorite VRBO's we've ever stayed in. The location is perfect for visiting wineries and vineyards. The views are incredible, two picture windows over look incredible sunrises each morning. The apartment is clean, well built, and comfortable with everything you need. The hosts are very gracious and will interact with you as much or as little as you'd like. We are going to be highly recommending to any and all our friends who want to visit Willamette Valley wine country.

Absolutely beautiful property. It felt like being in the Italian countryside. Check-in was easy and thoughtful. Kitchen was spotless and looked brand new. It was wonderful to walk around the farm and see the animals and gardens. The apartment was lovely - lots of space and huge windows to enjoy the view. Hosts paid attention to little things - really nice shower products, towels, a kitchen with lots of utensils. The apartment seems very new - everything is comfortable and welcoming.

One of the nicest places we have stayed at on our 2024 summer travels. The setting is so quiet and beautiful. Coffee in the morning looking at the farm animals and parts of a vineyard (Beacon Hill) was so nice. The space was very roomy and newly remodeled. Very convenient to many wineries and restaurants in Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Truely a gem!!

This is one of the coolest VRBO's we stayed in. The sunrise over the valley from the picture windows was worth the price alone. The apartment has everything you need, with a fully stocked kitchen. It's outside of town (which is what we were looking for), but right next to several excellent wineries (such as Willa Kinzie). We highly recommend this place. It was really cool to walk the grounds of an organic farm

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Santos Family Farm Retreat. The place is perfectly situated in the Willamette Valley wine country. The accommodations were spacious and beautiful with a bedroom, living room and full kitchen. The windows are large allowing viewing of sunsets and sunrises and clear skies full of stars. Joe Santos was a super nice person and very accommodating with recommendations and general farm knowledge. This is a working organic farm with a multitude of vegetables, goats, chickens and ducks. The produce looks amazing. This is a top-notch establishment and would have like to have extended our stay by a few days. We will be back on our next venture to Oregon.

We did enjoy the accommodations and the location was perfect for what we needed. The host had provided all common everyday appliances and table/cookware we needed. However, when I made the reservation over a month ago, I found out that I needed to check out a day earlier due to needing to stay closer to the airport in Portland. The only flight I could get left at 4:30 am and the drive from the property to the airport is over an hour. I reached out to the management team and explained my situation. They were very unsympathetic and told me that they were not willing to make any changes because I contacted them closer to 30 hours after making the reservation and their time limit for changes was 24 hours, even though the reservation was for over a month in the future. I am not sure the listing clearly stated the 24 hour cutoff. But I did leave a day early before 10:00 am (the expected checkout time). I did pay for that night (even though we did not sleep there) since they would not accomodate my request to change the end date of our reservation and i also had to pay for a hotel room near the airport.

I booked this trip as a Christmas present for my mom and my aunt and they thought I couldn't have chosen a better place for our short trip to wine country. The scenery was amazing, the apartment was beautiful and clean with gorgeous views outside every window, and the owners were very friendly. The check in process was easy and we had total privacy. The location is very close to a few wineries, although Laurel Ridge was our favorite (only about a ten minute drive away). I'd recommend stocking up on groceries before arriving so you can relax once you're there. All three of us agreed that we'd happily return in the future - I don't think we'd want to stay anywhere else!

Excellent. Property exactly like pictures. Since i always say something a little negative so people know it’s not a fake rating, the only things i can think of is the tv needs better instructions on how to use it, but in all fairness I don’t even have a tv so I didn’t try really hard or call for help because I wasn’t going to use it anyway . Also book in house said checkout was 11 instead of 10. They were perfectly willing to work with me on that but 10 worked fine. Minor little things, a big 5+ for everything. Will definitely be back.

The Santos family very accommodating and like other reviews will engage with you as much as you choose. Also super receptive to feedback. Was surprised how quiet it was as read it was an active farm. We joked on how the animals were “cued” for morning coffee and evening wine times. Cows, goats, chickens and the very friendly Delilah! We spent 3 wonderful nights at Santos Family Farm Retreat. The place is perfectly situated in the Willamette Valley wine country. The accommodations were spacious and beautiful with a bedroom, living room and full kitchen. The windows are large allowing viewing of sunsets and sunrises and clear skies full of stars. Joe Santos was a super nice person and very accommodating with recommendations and general farm knowledge. This is a working organic farm with a multitude of vegetables, goats, chickens and ducks. The produce looks amazing. This is a top-notch establishment and would have like to have extended our stay by a few days. We will be back on our next venture to Oregon.

10.0 perfect score! This place is beautiful inside and out. The view is incredible and it was so quiet and peaceful. The location was great: close to stellar wine tasting, small grocery store in Yamhill, nice restaurants in Carlton, etc. We really enjoyed the spacious rooms, patios, and washer/dryer. We even bought some fresh eggs from the farm and made a lovely breakfast one morning. Parking is behind the building via a large circular drive. There are a few stairs, but you aren't going up an entire flight of stairs even though you are staying on the 2nd floor. It was easy to get luggage up because the stairs are wide. I would definitely re-book this location and recommend it.

One of the nicest places we have stayed at on our 2024 summer travels. The setting is so quiet and beautiful. Coffee in the morning looking at the farm animals and parts of a vineyard (Beacon Hill) was so nice. The space was very roomy and newly remodeled. Very convenient to many wineries and restaurants in Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Truely a gem!!

We wanted to visit the Willamette Wineries, the Columbia River Gorge and the Oregon Coast but didn’t want to constantly change places. This VRBO was delightful, much better than a hotel. Plenty of room to spread out. Very convenient to the wineries we visited (Alexana is a must). A drive. A beautiful ride of about 1.5 hours to the Cannon Beach to the west and about the same to the Columbia River Gorge to the east. If you are planning a similar trip check out this VRBO. You won’t regret it!

Our stay at Santos Family Farm Retreat was fabulous. If you like being in the country and the great outdoors, and don't mind navigating a few country roads, this is definitely the place to be. Even though it rained off and on this weekend, it still gave it a cozy feel. The one bedroom apartment made us feel like we were in a home away from home on our trip. We were able to make our own home cooked meals in a clean kitchen, it had everything we needed to be able to cook what we purchased from the grocery store, instead of having to go to restaurants every night. They generously provided a plentiful supply of towels and blankets for our stay. Next time we're in, the area will definitely look them up again. Thank you for making everything so comfortable. P.S. I personally love the goats!!!

The Santos Family Farm exceeded all expectations. The pictures do not do the property justice. We were blown away by how clean and new everything was! The kitchen was beautifully appointed, with little extras like Extra Virgin Olive Oil and spices, as well as coffee (100% Columbian!) and a coffee maker. We had all the supplies needed to cook a wonderful meal. They even provided a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy! The bathrooms were spotless with the half-bath containing a washer and dryer with laundry detergent. Truly above and beyond! Oh, and the bed! So incredibly comfortable! The mattress and bed linens felt like we were sleeping on a cloud! The inside was truly impressive, but I must say that the property itself was so peaceful and gorgeous! We fed goats, watched the sheep graze, listened to the chickens and ducks carry on with their day, but my favorite was getting to hang out with Samson and Delilah, the two Great Pyrenees dogs onsite. They were both delightfully sweet and I was so happy to get some puppy love while on vacation. :) The location was perfect, with wineries all around, local farm stands for fresh produce and baked goods, and hiking and beaches within a couple hours' drive. We even popped into Portland for an evening dinner with friends. We have nothing but positive things to say about Santos Family Farm and will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed three nights in early October. The flat itself, the farm, and the surrounding area are breathtakingly beautiful. We bought a whole fresh chicken and a half dozen duck eggs from the farm store which was otherwise closed for the weekdays we were there. Bicycling in Banks and nearby Saffron Fields tasting room were highlights.

Staying at the farm was a lovely experience for us. The space is very roomy and comfortable with lots of light; also immaculately clean. They kindly left us a bottle of local Pinot, which was so nice since we didn’t have as much time as we wanted to go to the wineries. We loved roaming around and looking at everything they were growing and seeing the goats and chickens. Our only disappointment was that the farm store wasn’t open when we were there, but we did run into the owner who kindly gave us some eggs so we could have a nice breakfast before we left. We were about a half hour from McMinnville but the location was great since there are wineries all over the place. We especially enjoyed time at Solena winery nearby.

This is one of the coolest VRBO's we stayed in. The sunrise over the valley from the picture windows was worth the price alone. The apartment has everything you need, with a fully stocked kitchen. This is one of the coolest VRBO's we stayed in. The sunrise over the valley from the picture windows was worth the price alone. The apartment has everything you need, with a fully stocked kitchen. This was an amazing stay! Spacious, clean, well-appointed, quiet, centrally-located and amazing scenery! We are from East Coast and wanted to try here since fan of wines from the region. We rented a car from PDX, it was a little over a hour drive. I read all the other reviews (I’m a planner). As far as driving yes, it’s rural so things are further apart. We had a joke everything was “20 minutes” so very centrally located to many wineries and restaurants. We went to Silver Falls and Cannon Beach both 1.5 hr drive. When I say well-appointed, I mean it. My spouse and I in the hospitality industry and this was like staying at a high-end hotel (even better because so spacious). The Santos family very accommodating and like other reviews will engage with you as much as you choose. Also super receptive to feedback. I said I read all the other reviews, so full length mirror (check) instructions for TV (check). We tried and came up with suggestions to help improve but we had nothing else -lol. Was surprised how quiet it was as read it was an active farm. We joked on how the animals were “cued” for morning coffee and evening wine times. Cows, goats, chickens and the very friendly Delilah! Other highlights: Sokol Blosser (charcuterie board), Abbey Road (views/animals), The Larson House (great food) Rosa Marino (Lasagna OMG). Too many to mention. We have stayed at this place before there were a couple of small issues however the management offered to fix them while we were there and we chose not to have that done until after we left. The accommodations are clean and everything that you need is there. Hosting is very attentive and quick to respond. The only issue that I have with this place is that it is above a store and very early in the morning and into the evening there was lots of activity downstairs and people in front of the windows so it kind of felt a little bit like I was in the public View. So not entirely very private . However luckily we spent most of our time exploring the beautiful Wine Country and did not have to worry about that too much. If you don't mind a little activity downstairs day in and day out. This is definitely a nice place. Fields with farm animals and beautiful surroundings.

Large well appointed 1br apartment located in cute red historic farm house on 80 acres organic farm. Lovely views and enjoyed seeing daily where the goats and cows were at in the pastures. Peaceful setting located close to excellent wineries on Laughlin Road. Gracious host. Purchased produce and duck and chicken eggs which were delicious. We have family in the area and will return again for sure
