The house was very welcoming ! Nicely appointed. It was hot and air cond was on for us!. There was a sheltered place to park our car in the shade, .and a barbecue for those who enjoy . The kitchen was of high quality cabinets and and as a cook I enjoyed preparing all my meals there. Nice appliances, and washer and drier. We had a great time visiting all the nearby wineries. I trip was very kind and polite, answering all our questions. The house was in a neighborhood that felt safe. We celebrated 40 yrs of anniversary there and even visited old school friends that live in Corvallis, that invited us for dinner in their beautiful neighborhood. Corinne

If you are like me and read all the reviews of a hundred different places trying to optimize for every little thing….just go ahead and book this place! They have thought of everything. Everything was well stocked, the kitchen had everything you needed, there were plenty of supplies to get your stay started, everything was super comfortable and the quality of linens was even high. It’s nestled in a quiet little neighborhood that I thoroughly enjoyed. There were wineries and hiking close by. I even enjoyed the beautiful spring days from the backyard. Just save yourself a bunch of time and go ahead and book it. You won’t regret it.

This is probably the most pleasant vacation rental I have ever stayed in. It is spotless and very well maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There are lots of nice little touches, including the complementary bottle of wine they left for us. And I adored the kitchen! Communication with the host was great. Check in was easy and they reached out frequently to check whether we needed anything. We didn’t run into any issues, but it was nice to know they were available if needed. We will definitely stay here again when we visit family in the area.

This is a great place, nicely decorated, quiet, well kept and very clean. The bed is very comfortable. The hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. The house is a couple of blocks from the main downtown street with restaurants, bakeries and coffee. As we walked around the neighborhood streets and through George Fox college everyone said hello to us on the street. A great stay in a lovely town.

We loved the cottage. Excellent location in Newberg close to the Main Street. Great starting point for a morning run. The cottage was updated beautifully and we took advantage of the kitchen. Everything on the inside was as described. The bed and pillows were as good as if not better than our bed at home. The cottage is in a great location for wine country, a trip to the coast, and to state parks. We will definitely remember for our next visit.

The property is gorgeous! I wish our plans had more opportunities to spend more meals in that beautiful kitchen. We experienced a slight hiccup with the air conditioner and the property managers were quick to help us troubleshoot to get it up and running. It was easily within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping.

The cottage is a full, small house complete with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. It is 1/2 block from the Chehalem Cultural Center and 2 blocks from coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants/bars in a residential area. It is about a 1/2 mile from a grocery store. We did not walk or go to George Fox, but I believe the campus is a short walk from the house. Ours was a mother-daughter weekend with a 3 month old baby. It would be perfect for a couple. It had a small backyard with a table and chairs for nicer weather. We enjoyed our stay there.
