Palm Villa Disneyland Pool 4 Bedroom 3 Bath HotTub

PROS: - Location: Close proximity to everything. This is walkable to Disneyland but who wants to walk 30 mins and then walk all day in Disneyland? It was a quick drive to drop the family off and easy to navigate. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. - Size of home / rooms: Space for everyone, grandparents, adults, teens, kids, babies, etc. We made great use of the high chair, crib, and baby bathtub. The game room was awesome, although we only located one or two board games. - Pool / outside area: Kids were out there 75% of the time! CONS: - Maintenance issues: The fridge was not cooling. We tried a couple things (since I was storing breast milk) before contacting the host on day 2. The suggestion was to put a container of ice in the fridge and that a tech would need to defrost it for 24 hours… so there was no real resolution. We had quite a bit of food waste. Also, the pilot light went out on the water heater but my handy husband relit it. - Quality of amenities: The kitchen was not as well stocked as I would have expected for a home in this price point (limited useable pans, cooking utensils, small appliances, etc.). The towels and linens weren’t great quality. The beds were only somewhat comfortable and the pillows were thin and uncomfortable. A few quick upgrades would go a long way I think.

We stayed four days and we were sad to leave, beautiful home, nice neighborhood, close to anything that you would need. Pool and jacuzzi were very good. Plenty of room and the game room was great.

Great time and a great house. Actually better than even the pics show. Plenty of room for 11 people including 5 boys who loved the pool, playing soccer in the yard, the game room and having their own sleeping area!

Overall this is an excellent property. Lots of space for families. The pool area is well secured and lots of fun for cooling off after a hot time in Disneyland. Unfortunately, the fridge did not work. The owner said a technician would fix it after we left. I think it could have been mitigated easily with either the delivery and installation of a new fridge, or delivery of a small fridge right away. We lost 200+$ of food. With two young kids who needed milk, this was an issue. If this gets fixed, this is an great spot.

Conveniently located close to Disneyland. Great stay. Lots of room for our large family with 5 kids. The kids loved the game room with Xbox. The pool and hot tub were a plus. Lots of bathrooms . Fireworks from Disney could be see and heard from the front yard. The host was responsive to needs.

We absolutely loved staying here during our trip to Disneyland. Yan was very friendly, attentive, and professional. The house was clean, comfortable, and very cute. The pool, hot tub, and game room were a huge hit! There was plenty of room for everyone and we had 8 total. The bunk room was awesome for our kids! And it was super close to Disney. No more than 10 minutes away to drive. A little too far to walk personally (wasn't an issue for us at all as we planned on driving anyway, just throwing this in for people curious about whether they can walk there). Can't say enough good things about this home and the host! We'll definitely be back!!

The house had plenty of room for 11 of us.. no types of condiments on house the 3 different trasf cans were confusing but it was great 4 our needs. Bbq does need to be replaced, it has a hole in it

We had a great week in this very comfortable house! Great location. It is about 25 minute easy walk to Disneyland The pool and hot tub were wonderful!

We had a great time bringing family together at this large, clean, well-equiped property! Large main living area with a giant kitchen island and plenty of couch space for large groups. Kids loved the bunk room and game room. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor space for running around on the grass and using the pool and spa. Although it is possible to walk to Disneyland, it is a very long walk and we chose not to with strollers and all our other gear. Great choice overall for our gang and I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a fantastic stay. The house was spacious, spotless, and the pool was a huge hit. One of the best surprises was the amazing view of the Disneyland fireworks! We loved being so close to the park.

When I booked the VRBO I thought the location was closer to the park than reality. It was an easy 10 min Uber drive that cost between $10-15 anytime of day, but the listing showed it was across the street. I’d never been so didn’t know there’s only hotels across the street. The community was quiet, safe and easy access. House was ok but felt grimmy. There was a lot of DIY projects that weren’t done properly. The game room was in the garage and it’s very stuffy so we didn’t spend much time in there. Backyard had several spider webs. We paid extra for pool and it wasn’t very warm. Our daughter who loves swimming and doesn’t mind cold water could only spend 10 mins in there. Beds had different bedding than what’s shown on pictures. End of day we were only there for 3 days and we were at the Disneyland most of the time, but I was happy to leave. This place is better for a big family and lots of kids.

It was nice and accommodating for our large family. Very clean. It could use some upgrading in a few areas like bath towels, wash cloths that sort of stuff but, overall, it worked out great.The neighborhood was really quiet.A longer distance to walk to Disneyland than we were expecting, so….. we drove and paid for parking.We had a problem with the hot water in one bathroom. I let Yan know the morning after our arrival date. Although he did send a handyman over, I was woken up out of bed at 9:40 at night by the handyman ringing the doorbell and knocking on the door. I did not let him in because we were sleeping. Kind of late for maintenance. We figured the problem out on our own. That really would be my only complaint.

Inside of the house was clean, owner easy to get in touch with while we were there. However, for the price of the house, I expect it to be super clean so my complaints (which I addressed with the owner several days ago and have not heard back from) are as follows: 1) Duct tape on 2 of the 3 bunkbed stairs. Bunkbeds quite rickety 2) Duct tape on the TV remote 3) Nothing outside in the pool area was cleaned (dirty chairs, several pieces of garbage laying around) 4) Had a pool day to relax and started smelling something awful. Turns out it was the outside garbage can that had not been emptied from (we assume) the previous occupant. 5) A 4 slice toaster (instead of a 2 slicer) would be nice as the house can sleep 14. Tough to get everyone fed quickly when you have to leave early. 6) Ended up being a delivery service for the next guest as they had about 10 parcels delivered to the house (some quite heavy) over the course of several days that we had to move into the garage. All in all, an 'okay' place to stay.

This is a large home situated in a quiet neighborhood near Disneyland. We stayed for three nights and it was very comfortable and was very well equipped. We had our four grandchildren with us and they enjoyed the kids bunk room with all the books and toys. The large kitchen and center bar worked perfect for the 6 of us. We did not have time to use the pool or jacuzzi but it was well taken care of and looked inviting. We will definitely stay there again.

Super easy drop off and pick up at Disney. We had Grandpa running a shuttle service for our large group's 3 days at Disney and California Adventure. Worked out great. Good bathroom to bedroom ratio, rest of house was nice enough. Some of our group used the hot tub. Used the coffee maker but did not really cook much while we were there. Note that the two queen bedroom is the one that is en suite.

It was perfect for our large group of 2 families! We had 12 people ranging from 8yrs to 80. House is lovely and minutes from Disneyland. Check in and check out we’re super simple. The host was great at communicating and answering all my questions quickly. We would definitely book it again.

I had a business trip, and brought my wife along. We mostly chose this place for the pool and hot tub/backyard. Though it was only two of us, this house would be great for a family reunion. I just wanted to relax after work with a place she could comfortably hang out all day. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and shopping/restaurants are reasonably close. There was an awesome Mexican (take out) restaurant/grocery store a 5-7 min. walk away. We did have a fluke issue that popped up with the house, but Yan was immediately available, and got the issue resolved quickly. If I have the opportunity to work in the area again, I'll look this property up first. We'd definitely stay again.

Our family had a relaxing stay at the house. Yan was a helpful host and responded to our questions very quickly. No issues with checking in or out. Location - Great location that's close to Disneyland, Anaheim Packing District and grocery stores. We watched fireworks from the front bedroom. Pool - Pool and hot tub are as advertised in the photos. Lots of pool toys and outdoor seating. The pool has a deep end, so parents of young kids should be aware. Kitchen - We spent lots of time in the kitchen and the large island was the central gathering place. There's plenty of dishes, silverware, also a coffee maker, keurig, extra pods, lots of coffee filters, electric kettle, rice maker. It was helpful to have basic condiments for cooking, like salt, pepper, oil, soy sauce, etc. The fridge's ice maker was very slow, so we also bought a bag of ice. Also, there were a few plastic cups but there isn't a full set of plastic dishes and bowls for little kids. TVs - Every bedroom has a TV with Roku, connected to Netflix and Disney+. The main living room TV also has YouTube TV. Some of the TVs had better/worse picture quality than others. One of the remote controls had low battery, but we found extras in the kitchen cabinet. Bathrooms - 3.5 bathrooms are handy for a big group. Showers have Costco-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Lots of bath towels, pool towels and very easy to wash and dry.

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood making it very nice for the times when we weren't in the parks. Very close to the parks for easy drop off and pick up, midday naps if needed.

very nice place. When we first selected it appeared like it was right across the street from Disneyland. We made it work because it was such a great place to stay.

We loved how close we were to Disney, the property was perfect for our large group and we took the host up on the suggestion to check out the Anaheim packing district - we walked from the house and had one of the best lunches ever!
