El trato del dueño, como de su hijo fue impecable. El único tema que es ajeno a ellos, es que nos tocaron varios grupos de gente alcoholizada que hizo mucho ruido en el rooftop que estaba literalmente arriba de nosotros.

My partner and I had a 10/10 stay at Artensanos 11. Antonio and his dog Pach were excellent hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us to the market, recommended some local food for us, and showed us the church. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything in the town, only a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance to the main hike to the temple. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and peaceful, not noisy at all. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to hangout, watch the sunset and have some drinks - a great retreat from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. I had read other reviews that said this hotel was too basic because there was no tv in the room, but if you are watching tv on vacation in tepoztlan, you’re doing it wrong! We had everything we needed during our stay at Artesanos 11! Would love to come back :) thank you so much Antonio!! P.S. Eat the Cecina de res tacos at Tacos Luna in the main square (little blue taco stand right by the taxis) - they will blow your mind.

Super clean and great location. Not a kids friendly place at the moment we stayed, no cribs available. There’s a nice terrace at the roof top but the service was not available either, no food service available at all. It was super hot (April) the fan isn’t enough and unfortunately it was high season so we ended paying close to a 5 stars prize for a very basic lodge.

Un lugar muy cerquita del centro, queda uno cerca del mercadito y hay muchas opciones de comida cercanas. Es muy tranquilo y tiene estacionamiento. Lo único que me sorprendió es que el cuarto no tiene televisión, pero como yo fui a una boda ni falta hizo.

La ubicación del lugar está muy bien, prácticamente a 3 minutos del centro caminando, por lo que todo en realidad queda muy cerca (tiendas, farmacias, bancos, restaurantes). La atención 10/10 muy amables desde el primer momento, Don Antonio siempre atento y amable, acompañado de su preciosa husky. El señor te recomienda lugares para visitar e ir a comer, así como actividades por hacer (nosotros fuimos en día de muertos). La limpieza todo okay. El internet con buena señal. Un lugar muy acogedor y cómodo para descansar. P. D. No tiene tv (nosotros creímos que sólo no aparecía en las fotos) El guardarropa es un poco pequeño, pero funcional.

⸻ I stayed at Hotel Artesanos XI from April 3rd to 6th, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Antonio, is incredibly honest, reliable, and always willing to help. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. He also has a dog named Bazzi — super cute and energetic, definitely the little star of the place! The location is excellent — just a 4-minute walk from the main square, so it’s very convenient but also peaceful and quiet. Although the room doesn’t have a TV or air conditioning, I was out hiking during the day and felt tired when I came back. After a shower and with decent Wi-Fi, I just relaxed with my phone and slept well. The whole atmosphere felt calm, safe, and cozy. If you’re visiting Tepoztlán and looking to connect with the energy and tranquility of the mountains, I highly recommend this hotel!

El hotel es muy bueno, las habitaciones son cómodas y está cerca del centro de Tepo; sin embargo había leído comentarios que el agua sale fría y en efecto en dos ocasiones que quise bañarme salió fría, el dueño es amable pero se molestó cuando le pedimos si podíamos tomar una mesa en la terraza, digo que nosotros la limpiáramos, es amable y atento, pero un poco prepotente, la chica de limpieza es un wow de persona amable y humilde, cuidado con la puertas ya que aunque las cierras se abren fácilmente, lo recomiendo para una noche si vas de paseo, pero por los climas me hubiera gustado uno con alberca

No había agua caliente y no lo solucionaron. Tampoco sirvió el ventilador/foco. Personal amable pero sólo necesitaba hospedaje para dormir y bañarme, y el baño fue muy incómodo.

Antonio and Luis were amazing host The property is centrally located. You are minutes away from delicious food, fabulous coffee, and a lot of arts and crafts. Oh and they have a very friendly dog that lounges in the sun and appreciates a good head rub. 10/10

My partner and I had a 10/10 stay at Artensanos 11. Antonio and his dog Pach were excellent hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us to the market, recommended some local food for us, and showed us the church. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything in the town, only a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance to the main hike to the temple. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and peaceful, not noisy at all. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to hangout, watch the sunset and have some drinks - a great retreat from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. I had read other reviews that said this hotel was too basic because there was no tv in the room, but if you are watching tv on vacation in tepoztlan, you’re doing it wrong! Super clean and great location. Not a kids friendly place at the moment we stayed, no cribs available. There’s a nice terrace at the roof top but the service was not available either, no food service available at all. It was super hot (April) the fan isn’t enough and unfortunately it was high season so we ended paying close to a 5 stars prize for a very basic lodge.

The location is so close to all of the action. I felt safe there as a solo female traveler from the United States. Antonio and his son were very welcoming and it definitely felt as if they were opening up their home to us. Antonio was very helpful with suggestions on what to do and eat. ⸻ I stayed at Hotel Artesanos XI from April 3rd to 6th, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Antonio, is incredibly honest, reliable, and always willing to help. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. He also has a dog named Bazzi — super cute and energetic, definitely the little star of the place! The location is excellent — just a 4-minute walk from the main square, so it’s very convenient but also peaceful and quiet. Although the room doesn’t have a TV or air conditioning, I was out hiking during the day and felt tired when I came back. After a shower and with decent Wi-Fi, I just relaxed with my phone and slept well. The whole atmosphere felt calm, safe, and cozy. If you’re visiting Tepoztlán and looking to connect with the energy and tranquility of the mountains, I highly recommend this hotel!
