Hyatt Place Murfreesboro

We stayed at the Hyatt. Excellent rooms and very modern. Great bar and lobby area. Wonderful outdoor space with a fireplace. Comfortable beds. We requested the first floor closest to the exit due to traveling with our 15 year old dog that has trouble walking. They gave us a room in the 3rd floor furthest away from the elevator/exit.

Stayed at the Murfreesboro Hyatt to stay for the weekend, visiting family. The location of the hotel is great with lots of food nearby and a Walgreens just a couple lights away. The hotel gym was well appointed with the typical cardio machines but they also had free weights, cable machine, medicine balls and bands. The breakfast was a little disappointing with only bagels, toast, cereal, and a couple "hot" items but it's not as good as Embassy Suites. I would stay here again since breakfast isn't that big of a deal.

Wonderful place to stay. Comfy beds, clean room, warm reception. Very quiet but convenient to everything. Large breakfast selection. If I had one negative, the food was not warm and there were a couple of people behind the door in the breakfast area talking very loudly. Very distracting. The wings and bar tender were great !

A little disappointed that the pool was closed on our stay but otherwise our stay was good.

Check in was good. Staff was present and friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. Sliding shower door in room would not close all the way so the bathroom floor got soaked. Breakfast was mid at best. They closed down breakfast on Saturday & Sunday at 9am even though the QR code in the room said it closed at 10am on those days. Coffee was good. Ice machines are only on 3rd & 4th floor for some reason. Pool was closed in May. It was fine. I'd stay again but I'd look elsewhere first. Murphreesboro has nearly a 25% lodging tax so that stinks too.

Specifically stayed at this hotel because it had a hotel with indoor pool. We weren’t informed that it wasn’t working (not on Expedia or hotel website). Upside is that they were able to give us access to a sister hotel a block away. A little inconvenient but grateful there was a back up plan for the kids.

Nice hotel and wonderful staff at the desk, the breakfast and bar area, housekeeping and the ladies in the laundry area. There is plenty of room in the lobby/bar area to sit around and relax or sit with a group. Rooms were nice and quiet. Plenty of places to shop and eat in the area. Donut Time down the main road was sooo good!

This property was welcoming from the staff to the layout. The free breakfast was impressive, and the rooms were spacious. However, checking in with 2 children excited about the pool while on vacation, it was a bummer when we checked in to see that it was not in service. Additionally, the room above us was loud late into the night and early the next morning. Sleep was rough at best.

1 of the bed's linens had hair on the sheets. The was found very late in the evening. Staff brought sheets but housekeeping had left for the day so i had to change my own linens, however, they came the next morning & changed everything quite speedily. This was the only hiccup so thry still deserve a good rating. Its close to many eateries & stores, and close enough to the highway, but still rather quiet. Pool was clean. Free breakfast.

I found hairs in the bathroom. No water bottles for free and breakfast with not many options. In the good side, they have a friendly staff, is quiet and beds are comfortable. Parking is free

We were told we could check in later evening and would have a 4th floor room available with a microwave, we received a second floor room, no micorwave, it was extremely noisy on the week-end we were constantly woken up, after hours we called the front desk it took another hour or so for the noise to lessen. Room sofa had big stains, not as clean as I would like it to be, toliet seat was broken. If I had time I would have moved somewhere else.

The property was new & pretty & room was a great size & had all the amenities we needed. My only issue was with housekeeping…there was someone’s leftover Chinese food & chocolate milk in the fridge & a few black curly hairs left on the bathroom floor.

Everything went good. The pool was a little small but functional. However, 3 of us went to work out one night around 9pm and we found and killed a cockroach. Where theres one, theres many. The day we were checking out, check out was 12pm. And the cleaning lady came to knock at 10:30am and ask if we were still in the room.. which was off putting.

Found large bugs in our room and in the lobby. The breakfast was a little weak. They had French toast but no butter. I was not impressed with the food at all

Very clean rooms & comfortable bed.

The property initially seemed appealing, but our experience quickly took a turn for the worse. After a long day at a basketball tournament, we entered our hotel room only to find bugs on the walls and around our food. When my husband and I addressed the issue with the staff, we were told, "I’m so sorry, but we’re fully booked, and I assure you this doesn't usually happen." Frankly, it's hard to feel assured when I was made so uncomfortable that we had to find alternative accommodations. I also attempted to reach the "acting manager," Tim, but he has been avoiding both my husband’s and my phone calls. I am requesting a refund and will not be returning to this hotel. I don’t have bugs in my home, so I certainly won't pay over $200 a night to sleep with them elsewhere.

The run was nice but the shower was mildewed. The shower door track wasn't clean. I was surprised about this since the hotel seemed recently updated. It smells like someone had smoked in the room..

Nate at the front desk was fantastic. Overall, a good hotel for a good price. Only downside was the water never got hot, just a little over luke warm.

The stay was great but there was only one problem. No easily accessible outlets or usb ports on either side of the bed. Other than that it is a great property.

Newer property with nice amenities and very clean. Only gave 4 stars because the bed wasn't comfortable.... Too soft with an uncomfortable foam topper and poorly fitting sheets that bunched up whenever you rolled over. It was also inconvenient that there was no thermostat control in the room. If you wanted to change from AC to heat or adjust the temperature, you had to call the front desk. Breakfast was mediocre and as others have mentioned, the water pressure is uncomfortably high. I might stay again, but with so many other properties in this area, I'd probably opt for a different hotel.

The bed was really comfortable. The overall room was good, but a little dated in some respects. The room was lacking a few amenities that I normally see, such as a plastic laundry bag, hand lotion and plenty of usb ports for charging phones. Only one side of the bed had a way to charge phone. Carpet looked pretty new, which is nice to see.

The only downside was no microwave in the room. But everything else was great.

Bed sheets were not made for the thick mattress and housekeeping did not lay the mattress pad or sheets properly to stay on. Shower door kept sliding open allowing water to out. Breakfast was terrible, pancakes looked like they sat in warming tray for an hour, eggs had sat a long time also, very little variety.

Great room. The AC worked extremely well.

Large comfy stylish room. Smelled amazing. Great bed & bath. Quiet. Cordial, efficient staff.

Not a bad stay. The thermostat was weird but overall not bad.

Bad customer service and had multiple charges to my account without authorization. Talk with manager while I’m there and she was nice but charges are still there after 2 weeks and the hotel manager refuse to call me back or pick up any of my phone calls. I had to dispute these charges through my bank.

Very rude staff.

Fernanda was a saint! We got in late due to construction on the interstate and were exhausted. She personally escorted us to our room after the computer wouldn't let her make keys (she later brought them to us) and apologized for any inconvenience (there was none at all). The room was spacious and fit our family of five comfortably. The shower had amazing water pressure. The breakfast was OK, but we were thankful for it before getting back on the road. It was busy, but plenty of parking.

The staff at Hyatt Place were super friendly and knowledgeable. They were always welcoming and inviting when we arrived and returned to the hotel. The hotel was very clean and modern. Bed linens and towels were also very clean.

I am not happy with how check in works. We came back with a charge to food/drinks that we did not order and our keys deactivated because the front desk choose not to take my ID and card last night when I check in. They just gave me the room key. What if it wasn’t me who check in? That was not a safe process at all. We are not happy and will not return to this place again because customer service was not good. I am not someone who would like to leave bad review but I am so disappointed in this hotel when I thought I chose a top notch hotel to stay in for my vacation.

Wonderful staff! They went above and beyond when the hotel systems were down. I highly recommend this hotel!

They canceled our room no one emailed or called us , then staff was very short and said you will have to go find you a room!!!!!

At check in I was notified that the hotel overbooked, and they were unable to provide the 2 queen bed room that I had booked 6 weeks ago prior to my check in. This made the hotel stay very diappointing for me and my sister as we were looking to have our own beds. I ended up having to pay for a room and sleep on an most uncomfortable sofa bed. On top of this, there was a terrible lack of customer service at check in. The guy working the front desk who checked me in, gave me one room key, and didnt not say much else. He did not provide the introductory information for the hotel services. He was short with me when I asked additional questions and an extra key for the 2nd guest staying with me. The hotel room door sticks and was hard to close. I consider this a safety issue as well as an annoyance. Because of the busy schedule I had to keep, the property manager was not available when I was able to speak to them. There are also no microwaves which was disappointing. We were not compensate in anyway for the hotel's mistake that cause the uncomfortable inconvenience and disappointing stay. It would have been nice to have been told 1-3 days prior to the 4pm check in that the hotel was unable to provide what was expected so I could have made other arrangements at a different place to have the optimal stay while in Murfreesboro for a conference.

It was an amazing overnight stay. We loved it all together. The bartender made our night. Absolutely kudos to the bartender.

A great option while driving south. In addition to great rooms, staff and facilities, there are some top notch restaurants close by.

Exactly what I expect from a Hyatt Place. Safe area, walkable, pet friendly, and clean.

We were looking for a place near Nashville and I was so impressed. This Hyatt Place was clean, quiet, and considerably more reasonable than hotels in the city while only being 25 minutes away.

Perfect location for us going to Children’s surgery center next day and close to lots of restaurants.

Stayed as a midway point back from Florida. Hotel was further away from main road which to me was nice. Very quiet after a long car ride. Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and informative. Area surrounding the hotel was nice and seemed new and updated. Lots of restaurants and shops etc. Room was clean and well kept. Heads up on the bathroom door which was a surprise. The door is frosted glass and if you get close to it you can be seen by the people on the other side. You can’t visibly see people in the washroom but it was shocking at first. It was wild. Breakfast was minimal but good. Peppered eggs, sausage patties, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, toast and muffins. All in all very happy with the stay and would definitely stay again.

Great location, closest enough to the university but safe area.

It is located centrally in Murfreesboro and in a new neighborhood with new shops and restaurant 1-5 minutes away.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable updated facilities, and tons of dining and shopping nearby. We always stay here when we are in town visiting our kids who are in college.

I loved everything about the hotel except breakfast. It was served 6-9. I went at 8:10 and most of the food was out and I asked the lady if there was more and she said No. they need to prepare enough for the guest that they have!

I have no complaints about this hotel except that the fire alarm woke us all up at 6:35am, which I am sure is out of their control. Check-in & check-out was very fast. The room/bathroom were clean and bright. The air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was very impressive, with hot eggs, sausage, waffles (small ones - not the Belgian kind), tortillas, fruit, juice, cereal, yogurt, bagels, and toast. Coffee was available in the lobby 24/7. I would totally book this place again.

The room was in great condition and clean, however there are zero places to plug in phones to charge by the beds. The one port on the clock didn’t work and there are no accessible plus by the bed either. Very inconvenient. For breakfast, I was very excited to get to eat biscuits and gravy, however as I stood in line with 45 left for breakfast the gravy ran out, they took the pot away and never replaced it. They put out more biscuits but many people were disappointed. I did appreciate that I called and said we would be arriving late and the front desk was very gracious, but it was just a little disappointing.
