Room is good relaxing and clean. But the pool area, sauna at Mens area not working and a tile at the left side of the pool needs repair and shampoo and conditioner were empty needs refill esp on peak days. Overall I still recommend staying at sofitel. Will comeback for sure.

We really enjoyed our night away here at the Sofitel Adelaide. From the moment we arrived staff were there accomodating to our needs. The valet parking service was such a smooth transition while the room was charismatic. Thank you to all the staff for your exceptional hospitality, we will definitely be back again in future.

The location is good with a wonderful view. The indoor swimming pool is warm. The staff are kind. One problem is the fridge is bad. It cannot provide a cool place for storage of food.

The Club Prestige Suite was fantastic! Plenty of space; two toilets, bathroom with shower and large bathtub, connecting passage way, seperate walk-in robe area, seperate living room and seperate King Bedroom. Clean and in excellent condition. Bathroom well appointed and large. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and evening turn-down service where they prepare the kettle and tea for you. King Bed very comfortable and fresh. Wonderful lighting options, great technology and TV Channels and connectivity to the TV for Airplay. The Club Milleseme exclusive access was excellent with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and snacks included. Wonderful service and experience.

I was upgraded to a corner room which was superb with great views of the city. Monday night hotel dining options were limited but some good restaurants were nearby. The pool and gym were also fine for a hotel of this type.

Overall the property was excellent. Very stylish with great service. The Superior King Room had many dusty surfaces, dirty grime bathroom floors, stained carpet, chipped crockery, stained and damaged surfaces. King bed was clean and comfortable. Loved the technology in the room, especially the lighting options and electric curtains!

e alerted the staff around midnight upon noticing stains on the bedsheet. They promptly sent someone to inspect the issue and recommended that we change rooms for the night. However, later on, another staff member informed us that there were no available rooms to move us to and that there were no housekeeping personnel available at that time. Since they didnt offer to change for us, and we were left with no alternative but to change the bedsheet ourselves in the middle of the night. I had expected better service from Sofitel when I made my booking, and I was quite disappointed after this experience.

Despite a pre-arrival offer of a kid-sized bathrobe, it wasn't there when we checked in, and the staff later seemed unable to arrange it. Getting ice proved impossible as all contact lines went straight to voicemail. Furthermore, our amenities were not replenished throughout our stay, and the replacement coffee machines both leaked.

Overall a great stay. The hotel is lovely, spacious, and well-located. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby (Peel Street and Leigh Street). Our only issue was with housekeeping, which was not at the standard we would normally see at a Sofitel or similar hotel. We had a range of minor issues over several days eg dirty glasses taken away but no clean glasses provided, empty tissue box not replaced, tea bags not replenished, bed clearly remade with same sheets despite asking for a change etc. After a few days we complained to reception, who obviously passed the message on as we had a very passive aggressive response from housekeeping - lots of extra unnecessary toiletries left in the room, an overstuffed box of tissues left, and a few other petty things, but still no clean wine glasses. We mentioned to reception on check-out who were very apologetic. Will not stop us staying again, but it was bizarre.

Issue with staff having me on hold at 10.28pm until 10.31pm and then telling me we are too late to order room service. The staff member continued to tell me the website says last orders at 10.30pm and wasn’t interested when I told him the website doesn’t mention 10.30pm at all on the times listed for room service, it only says that when you click on the menu. I showed this to the concierge in the morning and he will pass it on. Otherwise it was amazing service but this person on the phone (10.28pm from room 1504) didn’t care.

Long waiting lines at reception, very slow check in and staff not interested in explaining too much about the hotel. In room breakfast was expensive and very basic. Upon check out we wasn’t even asked if we enjoyed our stay. Wouldn’t return.

The breakfast was very disappointing. Most of the hot buffet was dried out and not fresh looking. Little choices of bread selection or if they had choices, nothing was replenished. Also we were woken up early at about 0800hrs with an alarm sounding, it sounded like a fire door alarm and it was so annoying.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. The room was large and well appointed. Breakfast was very good. Staff were generally friendly. However, two issues raise concerns about whether his hotel is committed to client-facing service. The minibar wasn't replenished. The onus is on the guest to order the replenishments through a device but I wasn't able to navigate the process. The bar wasn't open on the Tuesday that I was a there and I consider this to be a 'non-event' for a large hotel.

My family and I stated at Sofitel Adelaide for 5 nights in December 2022. Staff at lobby and restaurants are very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciate the excellent services by Alanah and Gogo at Garcon Bleu for the daily buffet breakfast. We had dinner at Garcon Bleu and the staff were very friendly (forgot his name). We also enjoyed the facilities including the heated indoor swimming pool and gym. Beautifully decorated, clean and quiet. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would love to come back in the future.

There is no restaurant available on a Monday. Room service the food was ok but no basic condiments such as pepper salt tomato sauce Not acceptable in a Sofitel. I would not have booked if I had known there was only room service. I was charged for parking despite stating I did not require it and had no car
