It’s very basic accommodation, but very comfortable. Unfortunately it was very warm when there, and even though a fan was provided (thankfully) it was very uncomfortable the first night there. Arriving after 9pm due to delays in travel meant we had to locate security to acquire key, which wasn’t so easy…. Bathroom tiles seemed to be loose, hoping not so, as it’s basically a wet room so room below May have water damage. Cold water fountain in stairwell was amazing, seeing as temperatures were so high…… overall a very good stay!

So my overall stay was good but started a bit negatively with the car park. Customers can park for free in the main car park once you register at check in, but it's actual signage was sports park car park so I wasn't sure if I was in the correct place until I checked with security. On arrival at the hotel I was greeted by Tina who was great, ordering a cab for me and pointing out where the taxi would pick me up, very helpful, thank you. I wasn't sure if I had chosen the right place to stay, bearing in mind it was on a university campus and I'm in my fifties, but all was quiet once I returned to my room, so pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay near Norwich.

Perfect for a stay on campus for my son’s graduation. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Accommodation is clean and proficient. Parking for free was a real bonus although a little walk away. I would use the lodge again.

Perfect hotel for the uea music venue as it’s right next door. Beautiful surroundings too, lots of trees and a lake. Our only issue was the toilet was continuously filling up, you had to really pull the flush handle up after flushing, which we didn’t figure out until the morning. Everything else was perfect.

This hotel is on the UEA campus and very handy for the LCR and Drama Studio. À few issues with the room. Leaky shower head, no towels at first (but the receptionist sorted that out quickly and with good humour) and the shower could do with a better door. Overall fine as a place to stay for visiting UEA or nearby. Breakfast was very good nearby at the Sports Hall.

Ideal location to visit Son at Uni, easy parking, location for bus stop into Norwich, staff really lovely and helpfull. Facilities in room was good, tea coffee and biscuits with kettle, and small fridge in the room. Slight issue with drain smell in the bathroom, possible sink water trap, running this for a while helped though, unfortunately we were woken to the fire alarm going off at 2am, due to students who live below the hotel, security officer came and checked, no other personnel at the time, not sure how it is recorded who is in the building and who is not? Thankfully this was not a fire, but aerosol deodrant issue. Overall great that they offer hotel accommodation on campus and at a reasonable price, served the purpose for what we needed the room for. We would use again as a good option.

It was very loud and this impacted my sleep, not just from students outside but internally. Loud slamming fire doors, noisy pipers and systems. I have stayed during a teaching block for a professional doctorate and this experience impacted my ability to engage during the day. Staff at reception were very pleasant but I don’t think the “hotel” is worth the price.

I’ve stayed here many times and mostly it’s very good value for money. This recent stay I was in a small dark room no phone signal and poor wifi. The room was looking tired and neglected. I’ll be back because it’s so convenient but I hope for better next time.

The room is functional with no frills and clean. The staff are brilliant and very helpful. However, the architect who designed the building needs stringing up. There is no soundproofing at all and the big open spaces are a huge echo chamber. Every tiny sound is magnified 100 fold so take ear plugs. And the lift only goes to the top floor. I travel light so the stairs were an inconvenience, if you had suitcases and needed to access the 3rd floor you will need to be fit. Overall, it is good value for money if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful place it works.

Due to issues with concrete, my booked room was substituted for another room which was worse than a prison cell. 1 single bed pushed up against a wall and 1 pillow. No tv, no towels, no kettle, no washing soaps, no phone signal or wi-Fi, a shared lobby. It was basically a student room on campus. The hotel did notify Hotels.com prior to my 4 hour drive to the location but failed to notify me. I cancelled the booking when I saw the room and found an alternative hotel. Staff did help and apologise, but even so it was a horrific experience

Once I got the right car park it was fairly easy to find the hotel, as I arrived late I hate to collect the key from security which wasn’t any problem, the room was basic but adequate for my stay, the free wifi was handy, I didn’t have breakfast

This hotel is on the UEA campus and very handy for the LCR and Drama Studio. À few issues with the room. Leaky shower head, no towels at first (but the receptionist sorted that out quickly and with good humour) and the shower could do with a better door. Overall fine as a place to stay for visiting UEA or nearby. Breakfast was very good nearby at the Sports Hall.

The room was clean and the receptionist was polite. What was not clear is that this hotel is on a university campus so I imagine it could be very noisy at times. The carpark is a good 5 minutes walk from the hotel so not good if you have any mobility issues. There wasn’t a lift to my floor so I had to take the stairs. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room although there is use of a kitchen, you would need to bring your own coffee , milk etc. there is a coffee machine in the lobby but this is locked overnight.

The room we were allocated had not been cleaned and was full of rubbish. After complaining, we were relocated to another room. The room allocated did not have a mini kitchen as advertised in your pictures. I have a 2 year old child on antibiotics which required refrigeration and food warning facilities and that is why I chose your hotel. The receptionist was unable or unwilling to relocate us so we had to check out the following day as the facilities did not meet our needs. We had to cut our stay short and look for alternative accommodation elsewhere. We have been waiting for our refunds to be processed as at now. It was a very disappointing stay.
