Absolutely beautiful hotel grounds and pool area. Plenty of comfortable chaise loungers and chairs in the pool area. Two smaller 'splash' pools, one longer pool. There were also two 'hot tubs.' Neither of these seemed to be working. The water was luke warm with mild bubbles. The button you'd use to turn on bubbles did nothing. Beautiful views of the river. I did want coffee, nothing nearby and I had to wait until the restaurant opened at 8. This was a bit annoying to me. I had lunch in their restaurant, but no vegetarian options and very small menu. I ordered tuna tacos, which had fried tuna and was disappointing. Very few eating options. Two restaurants next door, one a pizza place. The 'Mexican' restaurant was pretty good. Lots of hotels you have to have a 'pass' to get into to go to their restaurant. Beach is about 10 minute walk to access. Shopping center about 12, which has grocery store, some restaurants and a Starbucks. Room was very spacious, clean and new. Shower was huge. Balcony had amazing view of the river. Bed was comfortable. Liked seperate electricity card. Elevator wasn't centralized and you couldn't use the stairs, so a bit annoying. Appreciated water included and access to in order to be more environmentally friendly. Overall beautiful hotel and pool area. I would stay again, however the lack of restaurants is a bit annoying. Did like that walkable to beach. Didn’t like hot tubs not working, lack of early morning coffee and location of elevator.

Me gusto la ubicacion ,no me gusto la fata de limpieza en pasillos y se escucha mucho riudo del sistema de agua al final pedí mi recibo de pago y no me lo querían dar por fin me dieron un recibo con otro nombre y con fechas del 11 de enero al 25 de enero con el numero de habitación corecto 2325 !!eso no me parecio correcto !!

Newness, Hotel is only 8 months old. Excellent roof top pools and hot tubs. Ocean beach is a 15 minute walk. A shopping mall is a 15 minute walk. Excellent restaurants close by.

We liked the property, it was pretty, we didn’t like that there were no handouts or information available. We had to take pictures of the room service menus or order at the front desk. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but was not. Coffee was supposed to be available in common area, was not. Spa was not open. Room had no information except to refill the provided water bottles, however the ice machine and water on our floor were not in service. We had a fine time at the hotel, just took a while to figure things out. Got a bottle of white wine upon arrival, however we don’t drink, but that was nice. The area has a couple great affordable restaurants that serve all day, next door. Walk to the public beach was about 10 minutes. Beach was nice, rental table and chairs available for $300 pesos. Taxi to El Centro P.V. Was about $15. $20 with tip. Taxis are easy to find anywhere. The Hotel is very new, even taxis didn’t know where it was. I think if they work out some kinks, it will be an affordable alternative to the resorts that are all over. the food and service at the hotel were very good and decently priced. The staff were all very friendly helpful and polite.

Great hotel! Staff was super friendly and helpful specially Ramon. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub a lot. Only would recommend more maintenance on the pool. Few days main pool was a little dirty. Breakfast was super!

Nice hotel, bed was awful built on what looked like a wooden box frame and made a crashing sound each time you moved in it. Room was otherwise nice and very clean. Be aware construction is happening close by so be sure to ask for room facing away from it. I was facing it about the noise didn’t bother me. Rooftop pool was nice, good staff. Pools are ok, shallow. 2 jacuzzi’s. Gym is good.

Terrific rooftop patio with lovely pools, lounge areas, and panoramic views. The hotel was immaculately clean, and full of lush plantings everywhere which made the whole place so pleasant and relaxing. The staff were equally wonderful… extremely polite and attentive. My wife and I felt very well looked after during our stay and would go back in a heartbeat!

Great place. However there were times that people were partying till the wee hours on the morning which made sleep a little disrupted. Every now and then there was a sewage type smell coming from the sink. Everything else was great. I recommend this place. There is a building being constructed on the other side of the building from where our suite was, so we felt lucky to not have to face it. Pools and hot tub were great. Food was good but a little pricey compared to other parts of Puerto Vallarta. Could use a little more selection. Drinks were good, but a little on the pricey side as well comparatively. But we enjoyed our stay.

Un hôtel très bien, cependant avec quelques lacunes, chambre grande et très confortable. Malheureusement la douche avec peu de débit d’eau. Les ascenseurs auraient besoin d’être nettoyés régulièrement, plein de traces de doigts sur les murs. Notre plus grande déception est la piscine, il y’avait un DJ avec de la musique très forte,de plus des clients avaient leur propre musique forte, nous avons pas pu relaxer en fin d’après-midi au bord de la piscine. Le petit déjeuner buffet était très bien et varié. Dommage que je ne peux pas mettre un 5 étoiles à cet hôtel.

Rooms were cleaned better 9 am and 5 pm. Sometimes not at all. Elevators need to be cleaned, not much for food choice and expensive for quality. For a newer hotel starting to get very rundown. Not enough maintenance.

Loved my stay! Overall the room was beautiful, it did have a smell coming from their sink that was obviously designed by a amn haha cause theres no space for toiletries. But the hotel staff took care of the smell sonehow. I did get injured on my second day in Mexico at the hotel pool deck, i was walking to the daybed and slipped and hurt my back and cut my left toe pretty bad which resulted in me being super limited to any activities i had planned while in Mexico so that really sucked. But the hotel staff helped bandage it up a couple times. I will definitely be going back. Oh the hotel food was honestly just meh.and very limited in my opinion.

This was the perfect getaway for us. Spent 2 weeks at the Mio. The rooms were clean and modern with decent house keeping. They have purified ice and water machines on every floor so you can keep your bottle topped up. Free secure parking, very friendly and helpful staff. Initially, we had the room 347 right under the gym, some users got there very early in the morning and was very loud banging from dropping dumbbells or stacks, the front desk promptly moved us to a better room. I would recommend they delay the gym opening until 8am for the sake of the guests below. The gym is nice and air conditioned btw. The roof top pool is amazing, plenty of room to get a good spot in the morning. We opted for the breakfast which usually was a very good buffet but a few days were a-la-cart. Not as many options but still excellent. To get to the beach you do have to walk a block or so down to public access but that is ok, a walk will do you good. short walk to the mall and Starbucks at Paradise Village. A few good restaurants next door. Overall, for the good price, it is excellent value and experience.

My room was described as "tropical deluxe" but it faced a massive active construction site. Very noisy and viewless. The hotel was not busy and there were plenty of rooms available overlooking something else but only if I paid an upgrade fee. Not impressed.

Very nice new property. Only issue is you can hear everything/everyone in the halls while you are in your room. You hear the flushing of toilets and running showers from other rooms.

Hotel is new and modern. The rooftop area is by far the best feature. Great poolside service and food was amazing. I was in a deluxe tropical room but it was like a standard hotel room that has a balcony overlooking the river. The layout of the room is very open - the bathroom sink and shower are in the same area as the bed which makes for limited privacy if you are travelling with someone else. Overall a great property, great value, I will be back and would recommend to others!

The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Coffee machine wasn’t working all the time. Little things were missing like we didn’t have a face cloth in the room and the fridge wasn’t on. One of the controllable parts of guest experience is the customer service. While staying there, I had a poor experience at the restaurant/rooftop dining area and bar. I had a friend join me for dinner, and we went for one drink. Ramon was my server ( greeting me, took my order, delivered my order and brought me my bill). It was 140mx and I gave Ramon 200mx and told him I didn't need change. He was a good server. When leaving towards elevator, I heard a woman screaming 'Miss!! Miss!! You didn't pay!!!' . She was running and yelling though restaurant at me. I was shocked and told her I had already paid Ramon. Her name tag said Josselin. I was upset and embarrassed and told her I didn't appreciate being called a thief. She said it was a mistake but did not apologize. I suggested she ask the server first before chasing a customer and yelling for all to hear, and left. I still had two days of a 5 day stay left, and told both front reception how upsetting it was, as well as the day manager the next morning. I was never followed up with at all. Customer service is completely within Mio's ability to impact, and I left disappointed.

The one and most important thing is the amazing, wonderful and THE BEST service from Valeri at the front desk. An unbelievable positive attitude that makes you feel so welcoming. Have not had such an experience in a very long time. There should be a Valeri at every hotel.

El hotel está genial, muy limpio todo.. el servicio de bar, restaurante, recepción y room Service es pésimo.. dos horas para una sopa azteca y una papa al horno. Tenía acceso vip para hacer early checkin y no me lo quisieron dar mencionando que el hotel estaba al 50% de lleno. La actitud de la señorita de recepción fue muy grosera y fría. Recomiendo el hotel pero su servicios es pesimo

Hotel Mío was in a safe and walkable area. Our initial room was noisy due to the gym being above us and upon informing the front desk, Daniel the manager moved and upgraded us to a room with a panoramic view. The bell boy, Ricardo was very attentive at all times and Andres our waiter during breakfast was amazing! Thank you Hotel Mio. We would definitely come back.

En términos de servicio muy mal, en el restaurante había una mesera que no quería antendernos y cuando le pedí cubiertos me los llevo de mala gana pero cuándo fue a entender a unos americanos le cambió la cara hasta sonriendo fue. No fueron a nuestra habitación a realizar la limpieza. La verdad un pésimo servicio el hotel muy bonito pero lastima de su personal ya que son muy racistas.

This is a fantastic property. I will stay again. This is our second stay here, and the second time we were promised a bottle of wine that we did not receive. And on the second visit, we told them we didn’t get our first one and they promised to get us one this time. We did not receive it.

Hotel was great. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice. Everything’s new and the style was modern. The pools on the roof were clean and well done. Lots of shade. Great views. One thing to be aware of the area is not great for walking around. The beach is a 10 min walk away. There’s a few ok restaurants and shops near by, but it’s somewhat isolated. It’s easy to uber to downtown or other places.

Absolutely beautiful hotel grounds and pool area. Plenty of comfortable chaise loungers and chairs in the pool area. Two smaller 'splash' pools, one longer pool. There were also two 'hot tubs.' Neither of these seemed to be working. The water was luke warm with mild bubbles. The button you'd use to turn on bubbles did nothing. Beautiful views of the river. I did want coffee, nothing nearby and I had to wait until the restaurant opened at 8. This was a bit annoying to me. I had lunch in their restaurant, but no vegetarian options and very small menu. I ordered tuna tacos, which had fried tuna and was disappointing. Very few eating options. Two restaurants next door, one a pizza place. The 'Mexican' restaurant was pretty good. Lots of hotels you have to have a 'pass' to get into to go to their restaurant. Beach is about 10 minute walk to access. Shopping center about 12, which has grocery store, some restaurants and a Starbucks. Room was very spacious, clean and new. Shower was huge. Balcony had amazing view of the river. Bed was comfortable. Liked seperate electricity card. Elevator wasn't centralized and you couldn't use the stairs, so a bit annoying. Appreciated water included and access to in order to be more environmentally friendly. Overall beautiful hotel and pool area. I would stay again, however the lack of restaurants is a bit annoying. Did like that walkable to beach. Didn’t like hot tubs not working, lack of early morning coffee and location of elevator.

Brand new, very clean, very comfortable, great breakfast on the roof top, and super friendly service. The only downside for me was it's 10km from all the life, had to uber or drive to places where I wanted to handout for the day. Great for couples that want to chill in my opinion.

Newness, Hotel is only 8 months old. Excellent roof top pools and hot tubs. Ocean beach is a 15 minute walk. A shopping mall is a 15 minute walk. Excellent restaurants close by.

It's a great property. It's a little bit off the beaten path. Ubers are pretty cheap from here. If you have done an all inclusive and are ready to step out a little bit into more of a real Mexico vibe without having to worry about safety concerns and the hustle of PV this is probably your place.

New hotel roof top restaurant and pool area amazing. Large resorts block access to the beach. Not cool. Streets are amazing treed bike paths in centre between both lanes. Locals have lost access to their beaches thanks to mega resorts.

Excelente opción para descanso, la zona es muy nueva y de lujo. La recomiendo más para gente que va de descanso ya que el acceso a ese lugar se facilita con transporte privado o vehículo rentado. A solo 1 hora max de la ciudad, aeropuerto y el malecón, pasan algunas rutas de transporte a la ciudad. Si buscan un lugar tranquilo, seguro y muy bonito para descansar es el lugar ideal. La atención del personal es excelente, siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Lo único que me hubiera gustado es que la alberca fuera más grande y el gimnasio contara con más equipo, pero si no van a estar en el hotel por hacer actividades es una excelente opción.

New hotel. My room was very clean, everything worked well, especially the A/C. Ice machines on every level, some of them not working. Water from the ice machines is drinkable, I had no problems with it. There is a good long rooftop pool, including two smaller pools, two hot tubs and the gym. No showers exist in the pool area, so I guess the sunscreen, hair and sweat ends up in the pools. There is a large pool on the ground level north, but only available for condo inhabitants. The one and only bar/ restaurant is also located on the rooftop. Food and drinks are overpriced. Eat /drink elsewhere, e.g. at Paradise Plaza mall 15 min. walking toward the south. Also a large condominium building construction site next to the hotel on the southside with annoying noise and dust/ dirt in the air from Monday to Saturday. Don't accept a room facing this side. They gave me a room facing the construction first, but accommodated me with a room on the other side after I complained and fought for it. It's disrespectful to the visitor to omit the construction site and to hope they will accept it. The nearest public beach access is ca. 15 min. away walking north on the right next to Grand Velas resort. The area is quiet, exclusive and safe. There are two restaurants next to Hotel Mio, La Isla and Rivera Grill and there is a pharmacy located between them. A taxi ride to Puerto Vallarta (5 diciembre neighborhood) cost you about 250 Pesos, an alternative is Uber or take the ATM bus for 27 Pesos.

Great place. However there were times that people were partying till the wee hours on the morning which made sleep a little disrupted. Every now and then there was a sewage type smell coming from the sink. Everything else was great. I recommend this place. There is a building being constructed on the other side of the building from where our suite was, so we felt lucky to not have to face it. Pools and hot tub were great. Food was good but a little pricey compared to other parts of Puerto Vallarta. Could use a little more selection. Drinks were good, but a little on the pricey side as well comparatively. But we enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were spacious and well appointed and the hotel is beautiful, but I ordered room service the first night and the food was awful.....couldn't even eat it. Gave them a second chance and went to the resturant for breakfast and ordered an omelet.......it was also awful. They need a new chef.

Excellent location and very modern and clean rooms. Staff are excellent and knowledgeable. The breakfast was great lots of variety and the rooftop pool area is very relaxing. A much needed change from the all inclusive hotels. I have stayed here several times and I just love it. Don’t miss happy hour at sunset from the rooftop restaurant.

The property was super clean since it was brand new and super quiet. One thing that I wish they did was clean the pool. It had a lot of dead bugs floating around, making it hard to stay in the main pool. The rooftop pool can use a dedicated employee to serve drinks. We had a complimentary breakfast, which was not bad. The menu didn’t have a lot of options to choose from, but not bad at all. I would rate this place a 7/10.

Great location in Nuevo Nayarit. The Staff was some of the nicest I have ever experienced. Friendly, helpful, and English speaking. The room was excellent. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant on the roof. Besides the excellent food there ia an outstanding view up there. The gym was quite ample. All in all a superb value.
