Room was pretty nice. Service was below average and definitely not compatible with a five star hotel.

Great location and great service

I made a non-refundable reservation at this hotel through hotels.com for March 11-14 instead of February 11-14. I realized this when we arrived at the hotel on February 11, 2026. The receptionist said that they could only cancel for free if hotels.com contacted them via email. I immediately contacted hotels.com and explained the situation; they were understanding and sent the hotel a free cancellation/refund confirmation email. My wife and I, trusting the hotel and its staff, paid again and stayed from February 11-14. We were so confident that, as a serious business, they would take the matter seriously and not leave us in a disadvantaged position. Our stay ended, and we returned to our country. I contacted hotels.com periodically to explain the situation, but they repeatedly stated that they could not see the email they sent to the hotel. Aurea Ana Palace by Eurostar Hotel Company, despite knowing about our reservations and having a month left after our first stay, unfairly charged us for a second stay through hotels.com. I paid the same fee twice, for both February 11-14 and March 11-14. Unbelievable but true. I stayed once, trusted this hotel, paid twice, and this is the result... If I do not receive the necessary response, I will continue to expose this situation everywhere with the relevant documents. We used many extras such as spa and restaurant services.
