Stayed in room 550, very convenient to breakfast area, bar and the fitness room. Nice view from our room. Used valet parking at $40 a night. Otherwise self park is $20 and gate locked overnight. Staff were all super nice and friendly. Enjoyed patio seating at bar.

Hotel was renovated hotel but everything was great. We weren’t too happy with the 40$ parking charge because we were far enough from the city and I feel that there was enough area for parking at a cheaper rate. The whole time we were there one of the elevators didn’t work for the 4 days that we stayed causing long waits for the one working one

Overall the property was nice. Not a lot of water pressure in the shower. The breakfast area was nice and well-maintained. The food was fresh and restocked as needed. Just note parking is valet $40. There Is a gravel lot next to the hotel but they discourage using it for safety reasons; which I can neither affirm nor deny. We would stay there again - probably won't use valet - the lot next to the hotel is managed by the same company that does valet and looked safe.

The valet parking is overpriced and inconvenient. You have nowhere else to park. The service to return the car was a long process. One night we sat for 25 minutes. Only one elevator was working for a hotel that is only 3 years old, which caused a lot of delays. The lobby/check in desk is on the 5th floor... The room was very clean. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We walked pretty much everywhere we went... didn't feel very safe at night. If you are going to spend your time at the bars, stay somewhere on Broadway or closer.

The description of property was not accurate. The pictures are not even close to what it looks like. We paid for a sofa bed. What we got was a couch bed with no mattresses. Staff said we can give you extra blankets to help. There was mold in the shower. It states it’s a close walk to Broadway but the part where visitors want to go you have to walk through homelessness and the walk is about 30 minutes to the strip. I would not stay here again.

Not a 4-star hotel, probably 2-star. If you want the truth keep reading. Sheets were dirty had stains on one bed. Shower water was lukewarm. Brought this up to the front desk and was told that the technician will check the boiler room because multiple guests reported. Next morning the water was still lukewarm. Woke up by loud noise each morning around 7-8am.They sounded like moving furniture or could be remodeling went on in some rooms. We regrated choosing this hotel. The area around is very sketchy. I have no idea why this place carries the Marriott name. During the day, we saw 5 housekeeper ladies were taking a rest and sitting in the middle of the hotel bar.

This hotel was amazing! The shower would get super hot which was nice compared to most hotels. Not only the room, but the whole hotel was very clean and all the staff was super amazing and friendly!

Room was big and clean, beds comfortable. However there was small bugs (nats) all over the downstairs lobby. Was told not to sit on the furniture by another guest because they are all over the furniture. Went to get a bite and drink at the bar and needed to cover my drinks and make sure nothing flew into our food. For the priced we paid for the room and food this was unacceptable.

Room smelled like mildew, like sheets or carpet were wet way too long. Couple of bigger bugs climbing on ceiling above bed. Overall will stay again, as chances are its a complete fluke both of this happening in one room i would hope.

The room was essentially a large apartment with a full kitchen. Only thing missing was a washing machine. I lived in smaller places in college. You could LIVE here quite easily. Parking situation was irritating though, but it was downtown. Little sketchy. Otherwise HUGE accommodations

Rooms were clean, spacious and with everything you’d need. The hotel bar is nice, elegant and with a beautiful balcony to appreciate Nashville downtown skyline! We walked around a little after midnight and the area seemed pretty calm and safe. Although conveniently close to Broadway to Uber for cheap. We loved our stay.

Gorgeous property and room! We loved how spacious and bright the room was. There were so many amenities to use and breakfast was delicious. Probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. However, the bathroom showers could have been cleaner. There was dirt in the corners of the shower. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we'll definitely book again here if we are in the area again!

The location was okay but you definitely need a car and the only parking available is valet. There is very little within walking distance. They charge for every little thing here. Also the walls were paper thin. We heard everything from the next room over including their alarm going off at 4 in the morning. Overall, for the money, I would stay somewhere closer to the city center.

I reserved a double queen room. I got a king bed (3people) and a sofa. The sofa was less than a twin which I had to make at midnight when I was exhausted and I just wanted to go to bed. I was comped parking for the trouble but it did not make up for the lack of sleep on a couch that was cavas material and hard as a rock.

Excellent accommodation and room facilities which include fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and stove top, spacious room and lots of storage. The midtown location had us an about 30 minute walk to the downtown Broadway area which requires crossing busy interstate…Uber ride to downtown cost about £7 and were readily available in the area.

it was okay overall i wouldn’t choose this place again unless it was last resort only good part about it was where it was located and the complementary drinks they gave me at check in why i wouldn’t go back is because the rude staff, hot lobby and rooms and the struggle to go in my room each time and what really done it was them giving someone my key to enter the room luckily i had the bolt on the door because at the time someone entered i was naked

Valet is understaffed. Hotel management is extremely poorly organized. We had to wait for an hour and half to retrieve our car. $40.00 hr plus tax per day for valet and not much to show. Contracted out by the hotel to PMC Parking that understaffed the valet service. In the night we also had to wait 20 minutes parking to get off the main road into the hotel area for valet. Not safe at all. Overall this has left a poor experience of our stay at this hotel.

Every single staff member was hustling during our stay. From the valets, to check in, breakfast staff, everyone was on their game. Friendly, fast and efficient. I will book here again next time I visit Nashville. The location is very convenient as well.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff was welcoming, professional, and helpful. The hotel was located in a central area where everything was either walking distance or a 5 minute ride away. Lastly, the hotel bar and live music each night were a plus!

The stay was fine with one major exception. I went outside to smoke a cigarette in the morning and the person working the service desk called the police (or a security guard - not certain) to check if I was staying at the hotel. I have long hair, a long beard and a lot of tattoos but I was definitely profiled. She could have just asked to see my room card or asked my name to look up my reservation. I am a lifetime platinum member of Marriott, and this was not only unnecessary (calling the guard instead of politely asking) but rude. She caused me to be singled out and stared at by other guests. I expect better from Marriott due to Marriott's reputation. I am massively disappointed! I may look different but I have a doctorate and am a wounded warrior. I am polite and respectful always but was treated as if I was a bum. DO BETTER MARRIOTT! Train your personnel how to handle these situations in a better manner.

It was a bit strange to have to check in on the 5th floor but I think it's because the first few floors are used for valet parking. There is no street parking near the hotel so you pretty much relied on their valet parking. Location is a bit outside the busy areas but not really too far. I just used LYFT and the tour buses to get around.

No complaints regarding the hotel. The location is not near the music area on broadway. Yes, it’s technically 7/10ths of a mile to broadway but then you’re another mile to the actual bars and music. And surrounding the hotel, any route you walk, is homeless and major highways. Not to mention the gentleman’s club up the street. You’re safer staying in or around broadway. We had to Lyft/uber every time we went out. Great hotel if you don’t mind using a ride share app. We chose the hotel because it said .7 miles to broadway and that’s doable just not a nice walk and more like 2 miles. There’s nothing to do .7 miles on broadway. I wish this was explained before we booked.

The property and staff were amazing. Likely the best thing about the trip. The area is kind of seedy. Homeless and such. Not a lot around the area if you are looking for places to eat or do. But downtown is close enough. Just don't walk it unless you like hills

A great hotel, spacious rooms with a full kitchen, and free breakfast. Nice bar area (5pm-10pm only), and very helpful staff. It's a 20 minute walk to town but, just to the rear of the hotel is Marathon Motorworks. An old vehicle park factory turned distillery (x2) souvenir shops and dining. The only downside is the lack of a maid service. Otherwise a great place to stay.

I stayed only one night but can’t say enough about how wonderful the service was. The front desk gentleman was very personable and helpful. He explained how to use the “Lyft” app to call a ride to the Ryman. We received a discount on Lyft since we’re staying at the Marriott and that was cheaper than parking at Ryman. The place was super clean. The breakfast was outstanding with eggs, quiche, muffins, toast, yogurt, sausage and cereal and coffee. As compared to other Marriott’s, I would say best breakfast I have had. The valet Parker even went to my car to get something I forgot! The server in the restaurant was great and food was very tasty with a nice selection. Will stay again.
