This was Avery nice hotel. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff was so friendly. It took a while to get used to the trains that go by though.

I highly recommend not staying at this hotel. Our experience was unacceptable from the moment we arrived. I specifically reserved a non-smoking room, but the room we were initially given reeked of heavy cigarette smoke. When I brought it to the front desk’s attention, I was told that it was a non-smoking room despite the overwhelming smell. I requested another room and was met with attitude. What was also concerning was the employee’s response about involving management—she told me, “I’ll have to talk to the manager. He will get mad, but I’ll talk to him.” That interaction gave me the impression that the staff was uncomfortable or even afraid to approach management about guest concerns. Unfortunately, the replacement room was even worse. There appeared to be blood on the sheets, yellow/cream-colored stains on the comforter, and several large, very noticeable stains on the bedding/mattress area. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable and made us question whether the room had been properly cleaned at all. On top of everything else, the hotel is undergoing significant construction, and drilling began at approximately 7:45 AM. The online reviews and overall impression of this hotel were extremely misleading compared with what we actually experienced. Between the smoke, the condition and cleanliness of the rooms, the interaction with the front desk, and the early-morning construction, I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

Got bitten by something in my sleep and ended up in ER. Couldn't locate it but Dr said most likely a spider.
