Kasa Freemorewest Charlotte

Beautiful complex located close to everything. A little confusing trying to get into the actual building at first but no issues accessing our room. Utilized the gym and activities area which were great. Would ask that they install hooks in the bathroom, although not a huge issue there is literally no where to hang your towels and tons of free wall space.

we enjoyed that the property was close to airport and downtown charlotte. easily accessible to grocery and restaurants. communication was great. Only complaint we had was the cleanliness of the pool, a lot of debris at the bottom of pool along with bugs and the pool chairs weren't clean. Other than that we were happy and would use this property again.

We had great time and loved the apartment layout. It allowed for privacy for all of us. We really enjoyed the pool every day. Short walk to private peaceful oasis. Will definitely look at returning.

Get the pool fixed!!!

The availability of the pool was an added value. The close proximity to the city of Charlotte was key to the stay.

It was a pleasure stay at Kasa overall. The first unit we reside in has severe water leak issue and we communicated with the team and had the maintenance sent around 1am. We got the help to move to a new unit (which is a 1b1b, upgraded from the studio we originally booked). We managed to get more rest in the following 2-day stay and appreciate the responsiveness of the team. Only downsides were that the floor appears to be pretty thin - we could hear the person upstairs pacing and the alarm that went off at 4am! Not a fan for the white noise speaker provided so we were waken up a few times during the night due to the noise upstairs; and that the swimming pool was closed and under maintenance during our whole stay. However the community place is very nice and the gym is very complete so we enjoyed our stay here overall although certainly there are some spaces for the property to improve.

Fortunately this did not permeate the apartment but meant holding our breath as we walked to our car.

Property is in great shape and very secure in a residential area. 5 min drive to downtown Charlotte.

Kasa was beyond what we expected. It was very clean. 5-6 mins drive to restaurants and bars. 20-25 mins walk, which we did. Safe. Instructions to get in to Kasa was easy. We will definitely be back again!

I enjoyed everything other than the fact that I had to clean both bathroom tubs because when I came, it was dirty. There were no cleaning products on site and the housekeeper came the next morning and told me she had cleaned the bathroom, but I showed her pictures that showed otherwise. She then offered to bleach it for me and I accepted because I had to use dish soap to clean the tubs. Another thing they need to do better with is communication and not having people jump through hoops to understand what the wristbands are for. My four year-old thought it was something he could keep but it turns out it was for the pools. This information was found by me on checkout day when I was already three hours away from the property so in good faith, I contacted the company and they told me to mail it with a tracking number. Apparently they consider this an access item but the check out information and detail details that were sent to me regarding the property does not say that the wristbands were considered access items. It only states the fobs were. So my feedback is do better with signage. The same way you guys have signs for the valet trash you should have signs above the key rack that states the wristbands are for the amenities and not to keep. We just thought they were used for advertisement. Don’t get caught up paying a large fee for a silicone bracelet.

Property overall is great, unfortunately the first apartment the put us in hadn’t been cleaned and the sheets were covered in human and dog hair as well as the floor and washer. Tub was dirty and walls and furniture were well worn and damaged. It took a few hours but eventually they moved us to a much better room so overall our stay this time was salvaged.

It was clean for the most part but there was a few strands of hair under the sheets, under one of the pillows, and on the edge of the shower. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. It was a nice area close to uptown, quiet, nice community and very spacious.

What a beautiful place. Immaculate. So clean and new. With everything necessary to cook! Wish I would have stayed longer. Loved it!

The best stay ever! The unit has everything we need. It has washer and dryer, electric stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, spacious and clean living room and bedroom. Location is close to Uptown Charlotte which was very convenient. I recommend this place. Staying longer would have been ideal because of the amenities this place has.

Directions, descriptions, and signage were very poor. The property is a large apartment community with signs that state things like "parking for apartment residents only". Our reservation stated that we were in the "main building", but there isn't any indication of which building is the "main" building and the numbers on the buildings didn't match the address on the listing. After figuring out the building and parking lot situation, we unloaded our cars and approached the secured, locked entry doors. The door code did not work after repeated tries, to the point that we asked a resident who was on their balcony to let us in. Another couple who were staying there (not living there) said that they had the same issue, so we chalked it up as a finicky door. Once arriving in the unit it was clean and spacious, which was like the other Kasa stays I have experienced. However, there was not any information telling you where the pool and game room were (as advertised) nor how to access them. There were what clearly were pool access keys hanging by the front door, but my kids (22, 18, 16) didn't know where the pool actually was. They didn't go outside of the gated parking area and weren't about to go wandering around the neighborhood in the dark, so they returned to our unit stating that they couldn't find the pool and game room. :( Then, to put the icing on the cake, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and we didn't get any sleep.

Very noisy you can hear through the walls and no curtains if your not an early riser it’s bright!!!!! Otherwise very good!!

Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed, from dishwashing and laundey detergent. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The building was in a newly constructed buidling and gated. The pool was just a walk away in another gated section. We were very close to downtown and the highway. We will stay here next time we're in town.

Room was ok but there was a bit of wear a tear in the apartment. Couch was broken in the middle. Overall stay was comfortable.

Everything was wonderful except wifi didn't work so tv did work. I used wifi from different room.

Pros: - very nice looking - in unit washer and dryer - two TVs - bedroom area not in direct sunlight - glasses and dishes - full size refrigerator - multiple electrical outlets - room feels very large - lots of light fixtures - extra blanket in closet - detailed instructions sent to phone - Helpful live customer service chat - daily trash pickup except for weekends - White noise machine on bedside table Cons: - you can hear the train - you cannot seal tub to take bath - walls are very thin, could hear the people next door talking and closing cabinets from my bed while they were in their kitchen area - can't use door fob to open room, only outside door - bed not put together well, very squeaky - ceiling fan loose and squeaky irregularly - no curtains over the blinds - not a lot of parking close to entrances - pool was closed - no breakfast - only one bedside table and it was a small tree stump - no ice machine? - Even with the rain machine on I could hear the person above me stomping around at midnight

The apartment was absolutely beautiful. Very large, modern and clean. Very short drive to the stadium, Spectrum Center and other attractions. The area felt very safe and parking was easy in their secure lot. Communication was excellent. The only problem I had was that the apartment was located on the first floor next to an entry door so there were people exiting/entering loudly at all hours of the day and night and the upstairs aparment was also noisy. If you are used to noise, it wont be a problem but if you are a light sleeper or are traveling with babies or small children, they will probably have trouble sleeping. I would definitely stay here again but maybe request to not be so near an entryway.

Booked on short notice, but everything was clean and the apartment was the perfect size for two people. Also had a great view of Charlotte at night!

Our stay was lovely. Enjoyed the modern decor and location. Easy check in and instructions. I would a stay her again. My only issue was, a hour before our check out a random man entered our room unannounced, he did not knock or wait but simply unlocked the door and entered... he claimed he was just checking to see if we checked out, but it seemed a bit odd being that it wasnt our check out time yet... and that he entered unannounced. Im not sure if he was with Kasa or not, but this definitely alarmed us, luckily we were in the process of leaving though. Other then that, I had no complaints on my stay

The directions given to us by Kasa were terrible. The buildings are poorly marked with the addresses and impossible to see at night. If it weren't for other guests helping us out, not sure we would have even found the building. The virtual concierge is useless - it only has pre-programmed responses and you cannot ask any direct questions. The apartment itself was wonderful. Very clean and provided everything you could need. One of our key fobs didn't work so I would recommend trying them out before you lock yourself out since there isn't anyone onsite to assist you. Overall, especially now that we know where it is and how it works, we would definitely stay there again.

Let me book charged my card full price then made me pay a deposit non refundable messaged with me numerous exchanges before having me submit consent to run a background check and hours later after check inn time finally get back to me denying to let me check in now I'm screwed the ave to wait for all that money to make it back to me I had already made dinner plans and invited ppl went grocery shopping like I said they made me wait hours after confirming my stay and welcome emails and directing me to complete pre arrival so I'm convinced there's no worry they know what they're doing it's dishonest

Having stayed at a different Kasa property I can say that the experience was the same but with free parking lol I would easily stay at either of the Kasa properties without a second thought.

Every thing about our stay was good except I didn’t feel comfortable that the maintenance guy mistook our place two consecutive days and attempted to open the door without prior notice. When we answered him he said it was the wrong unit😞.

Excellent communication and video directions on how to find the place. Communication throughout was great as well. The place looked exactly as pictured. Very comfortable stay.

Great stay, will book again. Only thing I have to say is that the door keypad wasn’t working properly and I had to open door from virtual desk and it would take about 10 mins to open

Our stay was AMAZING at Kasa FreeMoreWest! We had a little issue with the room that we checked into but someone immediately came & helped us out. They switched us to an upgraded room & we couldn’t have been more pleased! The maintenance guy on site was SO helpful & kind. Communicating via text was so quick & easy. I feel like they truly care about your comfort during your stay with them. Would definitely recommend them for a family stay. The two bedroom was PERFECT for our family of 4.

Great location, great customer service, gated parking, nice to have an entire apartment for the price of a hotel.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would use Kasa again! The space was really nice and included many amenities like a full fridge, oven, sink, etc. that you don’t get in your average hotel. This would definitely make me want to travel more and stay at a Kasa. I also liked being able to “check in” virtually and not have to wait on anyone for anything, especially as we were in a hurry to get somewhere after we arrived. The “apartment” was very clean and updated!!! I definitely appreciated that. My only “complaint” would be that the entry directions could have been more clear. I am a teacher, so I always give ‘explicit instructions’ and I could have used them upon arrival… It wasn’t super clear which building we were going to (no label on the outside) and it was definitely not clear which door we should go in. We got “lucky” by Maps leading us to the building, but I wasn’t even sure it was the right one as, again, nothing was labeled. We also guessed which building door to go in and just picked one. It wasn’t clear which floor we would be on either… there was a 4 in front of the room number so we thought maybe 4th floor but it was on the 1st floor… luckily we happened to just start out on the 1st floor and check out the room numbers and found ours eventually. Lastly, I received a text after we did the dishes that we didn’t have to do the dishes. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to know. :) Oh, and the tv didn't work. Not a big deal for us, but still…

Quiet location but not too many options to eat near by

This hotel has so many upsides to it - very close to uptown, easy to find, relatively quiet, priced well, comfortable, easy communication with the company, easy parking. The only downside is that the area wasn't the absolute nicest, so as a paranoid person, I would have liked a second lock on the door for when you're inside the unit. The only lock is one that will open for anyone with the code, so I would recommend bringing one of those extra lock tools when you stay here if you're like me. With that being said, you are inside a gated complex and need a code to get into the buidling, so its still safe, but I would just like that extra safety measure.

Good amenities and close to uptown Charlotte.

This property is about 1 mile from downtown. Extremely easy to access the city on foot and by car.

We had a FANTASTIC stay at Kasa! It felt like home away from home. Everything was clean and cozy! It was very conveniently located in close proximity to really anywhere around Charlotte you need or want to go. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others!

We loved the apartment. What we didn't love - the security gate was open the entire three day stay. No need for a code as it never closed. It took a little bit to find our unit as nothing oitside is easily identifiable or labeled. The very immediate area is fine, as in the cluster of apartment buildings....but beyond that, this is not a great area of Charlotte (but, lets face it ...it is downtown). There is nothing in the area. No are no restaurants or stores around. You must have transportation and be willing to drive. Also, the pool is not close. You will have to drive to access the pool. The good, we felt it was a good value for what we got. Despite dookg everything virtually, Kasa stayed in communication. The were timely and communicated well. The apartment was clean, equipped, comfortable and easy to check in and out of! We will stay with Kasa again!

Went to Charlotte for a girls’ weekend and loved staying at Kasa! Very clear instructions were provided every step of the way via text and email, the apartment was nice and clean, and I much preferred it to staying in a hotel because of the full kitchen and more spacious room. Would definitely stay again.

The location was perfect. It’s was right out downtown so you weren’t in the middle of it but 5 mins out. The dinning options were endless. Place was clean and modern. Loved the feel of the gated area. Easy to find and communication even with a system was still simple enough to get answers or find what you needed . Overall great place, location and experience.

Perfect location for our needs. The house was immaculate. Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook quick breakfasts. Laundry supplies came in handy last minute. We were extremely comfortable. Would definitely book a stay here again.

Kasa FreeMoreWest is a great alternative to hotel accommodations. The room/suite was very clean, spacious, quiet and well-stocked with basics such as coffee packets. Access is a little tricky with three different codes, but the pre-check-in communications made this relatively easy. The location has one nearby restaurant. Otherwise, there is nothing in the way of retail or entertainment. If you want a spacious, clean, warm environment at a much cheaper price than hotels, this is a great choice. If you want action, a front desk, an onsite bar, etc., this is not your choice. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This was a treat! This particular property is an apartment, vs a hotel room, which was perfect for our needs (in town for 5 days for a music festival). It has excellent security (a gate which you have to have a code to open, as well as a separate building code you have to have, then a code for the room - we felt quite secure!). The apartment itself was marvelously clean, and so very well-appointed - I was surprised. The unit had a washer/dryer (came in handy after one rainy/muddy festival day!), a kitchenette with a full stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, pots and pans, plates and glasses, silverware, you name it.... I could have moved in and been quite content! I had a couple of questions during our stay, and used the email/text options to reach out to Kasa support - they responded incredibly quickly and were so very helpful. Geographically, situated quite near the interstate, which was helpful for our travels throughout the city. It was about 15 minutes from the big, wonderful Southpark Mall, too, and we didn't have to drive more than 15 minutes to get to any of our various destinations - seems to be very well-positioned for city exploration. 10 out of 10, would definitely stay again (and might just move in next time! lol).
