Santa Casa by Tasman

We loved staying at Santa Casa by Tasman. The property had a lot of charm and was in a great neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to communicate with them through whatsapp and they were quick to respond. We also loved that there was water available to refill our water bottles in the lobby. I'm still rating this property 5 stars; however, not all of the rooms have air conditioning. Ours did not, and we thought that it did when we booked it. But, the weather was nice and we were able to open the window and keep the room comfortable, but keep this in mind if the weather is hot.

I liked the convenience... dislike was the room was always hot could not cool down the area....also we had to climb 3 flights of stairs...no elevator it made it difficult for my wife with disabilities to go up an down

La ubicación es perfecta, queda cerca de todo cafeterías, restaurantes. El personal muy amable y servicial te guían si necesitas ayuda, además el día del check out tienes la opción de dejar tus cosas resguardadas. La limpieza excelente. Solo consideren que el lugar queda en una zona un poco transitada así que pueden haber ruido en la noche.

The staff were so attentive and helpful! Great, walkable location. The property is unique and traditional. Luggage storage was a huge plus.

Very attentive staff, very simple and clean, cute good space for relaxing and very central to everything I need. Lots of stairs so not very friendly if you are disabled.

Pesimo, no contestaron el tel en todo el dia para ver como era el estacionamiento, en la noche el de recepcion no ayudo a ver donde podia dejar mi vehiculo ya que ahi dicen que hay opciones, no hubo ninguna, me termine retirando porqur no iba a dejar mi camioneta en la calle en una zona tan insegura.

i loved the unique layout of the buildiing, however I did not like climbing those long stairs

Casa Santa is a gem with a fantastic location and quaint decor. The rooms come well-equipped with earplugs for the busy area, fans, a mini-fridge, and complimentary morning coffee. Plus, there's a lovely patio perfect for remote work. All this at a great price makes it a standout choice!

The location is nice and there are many restaurants and grocery stores around. The staff are friendly and responsive. Also free drinkable water is provided. My room is not really sound-proof and but the inn does provide earplugs. Hot water can take a little bit to be ready in the shower. My main complaint is that the luggage storage service is only available until around 5 PM, which I didn't know when booking. This can be an issue if you have a late flight.

I was so excited to stay here and parts of the property are very beautiful however, during our stay, we found 3 dead cockroaches in our room. I understand this might happen due to being in the city, but it was still off putting. The staff offered a deep cleaning but I’m pretty sure they were laughing behind my back after I told them the issue. The shower could be cleaner but the room was nice. Beware of this location, it’s right next door to a club so it can get noisy on Fridays and Saturdays. Overall, it was a nice stay, but I definitely won’t be coming back.

Clean room and friendly staff

I found four cockroaches in the room, they said they just fumigated but it is disastrous to find that in your room. I showed the videos to the manager and they offered to change my room. But I was outside the hotel and wasnt poaiibke anymore.

Room was spotless, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and spoke fluent English.

We liked the location. Towels and linens were torn and dirty and they would not give us new.

This place its in a very safe and walkable area, so many good restaurants and bars near by a 10 minute uber ride from the zocalo center, the room was very clean and comfortable bed. We stayed in the Junior suite and Look forward to staying again here in our future visits.

Incredible place, right in the thick of Roma Norte. The vibe is calm and bright with beautiful plants. The staff is super helpful and was at the desk ready to help! Great wifi, and our room had a good desk.

My husband and I came to a concert so we were only here for 2 nights. It worked out perfectly. Bed is very comfy and hot water with nice pressure was a plus. You also get water in your room daily. I got the upgraded room so noise was not an issue also price was very affordable.

Rooms were simple but clean. The main feedback I have is that there's no mention of how noisy the hotel is - not from sound on the street, but from inside the hotel. The 20ft ceilings and tiled floors throughout means you hear every person coming, going, talking, whispering or working. Additionally, not all rooms are equal. We had two rooms and neither had windows; one was located in the lobby so every passing voice was heard (the hotel designated the lobby as a quiet space but good luck when people are coming home at 2am). The location was great, staff were nice, but overall the hotel felt more like a hostel.

Great location. Beautifully renovated old Roma house. If your priority is to be close to the Roma-Condesa action, it is a good alternative. Walking distance to a lot of the hip restaurants/bakeries, parks and public transportation Beware that staying in that part of town comes at a cost, lots of noise. Old houses there are not insulated enough to avoid the noise/temperature etc. The only problem with my room was the bathroom design that lacked any ventilation and the curtain design that let lots of light in through the night. The property provides ear plugs, but bring your sleep mask as well

It’s an amazing place to stay at super beautiful and very convenient. The reason I gave the four star rating was because there’s no AC. They did adjust that on Expedia but I can see that I’m bookings, It’s still there. staff was very helpful and having gone alone I felt perfectly safe.

We have a room on the street, very noisy until 2 am.. we hear everything from the street like if we are sleeping in the middle of the street… bad windows… the location is good the place is beautiful but the rooms on the street was horrible and it wasn’t rhe cheapest room

This hotel had a great location, and was next to so many good bars and restaurants . There were a couple that played music late into the night, but we were provided with earplugs and sound machines which were helpful. Our room was also right next to a streetlight that came through the blinds so it was not the darkest come night time. Overall though great experience and location.

Hotel was dated - needs a refurbishment. Furniture was had visible defects. Hotel had no sound proofing during the night which meant you heard the thumping bass from next door. Would not recommend staying here.

Great staff, helpful and friendly

Great location. It really felt like a home away from home due to both serene surroundings and charming hosts. Special thanks to incredibly friendly Sandra for making my short stay wonderful, from the moment I called about my last minute booking while rushing on the metro, later the best food/city tips and just general random inquiries. Will definately stay here again☺️

We had a couple of issues with communication prior to check in but we were able to resolve these. The room and bed were amazing, wish I was staying for a few more nights!

I had an awful check-in experience at the hotel. When I got there in the evening no one was at the front desk and the access code to my room they supplied in the email did not open the door. I tried calling the number that no one answered and messaging them on the app but no one replied and I had no way of getting in touch with them. So I was stuck out of my room for 1-2 hours frantically looking for other hotels to stay at until someone finally showed up seconds before purchasing a last-minute room in town with no other options. It was incredibly frustrating and my plans for the night and meeting up with any groups or events were ruined. They were not able to offer me any discount on my room and I felt there should have been compensation. A discount of future days or another day would’ve made no difference since I had to leave town. Alsooo avoid staying on the first floor. I was woken up at 7 AM Monday morning to the front desk making loud phone calls on speakerphone for some reason and earplugs didn’t make a difference it was so loud. I could hear their whole conversation when I just wanted a little more sleep. They could’ve waited till a little longer and then later in the day to do that when the guests were up. The room itself was decently nice besides all this.

The property is ideally placed in Roma Norte next to bars,resteraunts and very accessible to many areas of mexico city. The staff are very kind and will help you no end. Very comfortable beds and always clean. Highly recommended.

Wow! Staff was super nice and friendly. Due to some tours we had planned we accidentally left some valuables in the room. When we came back from our tour to pick up our luggage and head to the airport staff surprised us with our belongings. Everyone in this facility made us feel safe and well taken care off.

We stayed 4 nights at the boutique hotel had a wonderful experience. The staff was great and was very helpful with our requests. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

The location is excellent! It’s right in the middle of everything—so many great restaurants and stores. The front desk help was lovely, especially Karla Sanchez, who promptly moved us to a better room when the one we were in was too bright. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and beautiful with a gorgeous view of the patio. My only concern was the noise from the restaurant next door. They play music until 2am most nights. Luckily, they provide a white noise machine which worked well to block out the sound. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful building, clean, nice rooms, helpful staff. Loved the location - access to most anything needed within walking distance. Only suggestion I would have is NOT to rent a first floor room facing street side. The restaurant next door plays very loud music well into the am hours. I was there on a Thursday evening and the music did not stop until 0630...

Fantastic location, but beware the it can be very noisy especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

Convenient location. Many dining options within walking distance. Easy transportation via Uber at reasonable cost.

The room was very nice and clean. Having the room with the street view can be noisy but we really didn’t mind it. The breeze felt amazing during this time of year. Very accommodating staff, we were very comfortable. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars.

A fuss-free property that has all the essentials, plus a lovely little courtyard to enjoy a morning coffee. Great neighbourhood to be in - close to many dining options, beautiful art galleries and shopping destinations.

This was a very well-located and cute spot to stay! The inside is very quiet with complimentary coffee at all hours of the day, which is a great touch. The hot water was spotty at times, but overall it really wasn't that big of a deal. Great wifi connection, I could take calls from the courtyard without any issue.

It was safe and close to great food options and amazing ice cream. Hot water wasn’t always available. Loved the Nespresso coffee but there was no milk. Staff were helpful and gave dining recommendations.
