Muy bien solo la alberca le falta mantenimiento

Agradable estancia, todo es por autogestión, a excepción de la recepción en la que las instrucciones llegan a tardar un poco, pero la vista y la ubicación valen la pena; efectivamente falta un poco de limpieza en áreas comunes, sobre todo el el roftgarden, así como que reparen las sombrillas de dicha área, por el resto excelente.

El estacionamiento está complicado para carros Bajos, pega mucho en la parte de abajo

This wasn’t our first time staying at Casa Barros, and we really enjoy the location. It’s a beautiful building with excellent air conditioning and a lovely rooftop pool offering great views of the city. The hotel is conveniently close to Centro Histórico, surrounded by many restaurants, shops, and key spots in Mazatlán. Plus, it’s just steps away from the beach with stunning views. Some of the staff were kind and helpful. A special thank you to Samantha and the cleaning team for making our stay very pleasant. The check-in process, however, could have been smoother. Since I booked through Expedia, there was some confusion about an outstanding balance, but after sending screenshots of my payment, the front desk was able to sort it out. We had originally booked a triple condo but were reassigned to a double and a single room due to electrical issues. Fortunately, the staff accommodated our request for an early check-in, which we appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and nicely maintained. We came better prepared this time, as the property doesn’t offer room service or cleaning supplies during the stay. Overall, Casa Barros is a charming place in a perfect location. ideal for families who enjoy exploring Mazatlán’s culture, food, and beaches. We would stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing property for vacation, the room came with full kitchen, don't expect all the utensils, is for VACATION just the essentials to have an amazing experience and the pool offered beautiful views, hopefully will visit again.

Las instalaciones están muy deplorables, el elevador estaba fuera de servicio, no realizaron limpieza de la habitación, no hubo atención por parte de los encargados y la actitud de las personas que estaban dejo mucho que desear, su actitud fue muy prepotente, déspota y grosera.

El acceso con el vehículo está muy mal, raspa toda la parte de abajo del carro

Estaba MUY sucia la habitación, no cambiaron las sábanas de los huéspedes anteriores y había mucho polvo y cabellos. Reservamos para 3 personas y no tenían más que 2 almohadas por habitación.

The blankets were pretty dirty, and don’t have enough things to clean, but nice place!

La estancia muy bien, solo que falta más limpieza, ya que había animalitos pequeños, que si dejabas por un momento comida se llevaba y tmb más limpieza en las sábanas, almohadas están manchadas, pero de ahí en fuera bien.

La habitación estaba sucia con ropa interior del huésped anterior no había cubiertos más que un vaso, la recepcionista amairani Hernández nunca estaba en su lugar; fue grosera cuando se le preguntó que si teníamos que buscarla por los pisos, le comenté que estaba platicando y me contestó que eso a mí no me importaba que ella tenía otras cosas que hacer como checar cuartos cosa que lo dudo porque estaba sucia mi habitación; eran tres personas que estaban platicando enseguida de la 404. No se nos canceló el depósito por no tener el comprobante y después dijo que su supervisor lo autorizó y no lo realizó. Nos comentó que habíamos llegado antes de la entrada y que se nos permitió el acceso, cobrando una cantidad de 300 pesos que no se pudieron cobrar con la tarjeta tenía que ser en efectivo o que los entregáramos después nos entregó primero la 401 y no nos gustó decidimos cambiar y si nos entregaron la habitación hasta las 4 ya no era necesario el depósito para entrar antes. No es la primera vez que nos hospedábamos en ese condominio y las veces anteriores el trato siempre fue cordial y ahora muy nefasto. También argumentó que era condominio no hotel y por eso no estaba en su área de trabajo, pésimo servicio.

Maid didn't clean any during stay but demanded money for cleaning the she didn't do. End of stay cleaning was included according to your email.

First, it's filthy: Thick layers of lint in dryer filter, blobs of grease on microwave turntable, crusty, uncleaned stovetop, smeary, fingerprinted tabletops, placemats with food spills, gritty, dusty drawer bottoms, grubby shower stall, big bag of garbage/mops/bucket in elevator lobby at evening check-in, elevator floor wet and muddy... even key cards are sticky and grimy, (adding insult to injury, a substantial non-refundable "cleaning fee" is added on at check-in). It is also is ill-equipped and in disrepair: Towel bar fell off when touched, poolside furniture disassembled and piled against walls, no dish soap, dish cloth, dish towel, two small, worn-out non-stick skillets the only things to cook with (no pot even to boil water in), a knife too dull to cut anything, an unwashed plastic spatula, and most grievously, no safe in the rooms/no safe at the desk, and no, "the hotel is not responsible for theft of valuables — "room is safe — there is deadbolt". At ±10:00 pm, ALL lights are put on motion-detectors and an elderly gentleman (with a billy club), is stationed outside on a kitchen chair, in the dark, on a dark and deserted street. These are the reasons why you must pay in advance. We left in the morning — no refund for the 4 days paid for (or the cleaning deposit!). Reached out to HOTELS.COM immediately, but they just strung us along until they knew it was our last morning in town, then emailed: "sorry, the owner never returned our calls... nothing we can do. What?

We love the staff here and the location is perfection-close to the beach and the historic zone. You can watch the best sunsets in Mazatlan here. There are many excellent restaurants in the area that appeal to a wide variety of tastes. Now for the downside. Olas Altas is very popular for ‘cruising’ on the weekends-Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings. The cruising makes it very noisy as the condos face what is considered the end of the drive and then vehicles either change direction at the traffic circle or drive further down the street that the condo is on before circling back. The vehicles are loud, the people are loud and the music is loud. If you are a light sleeper you will hate it here. Bring earplugs!

I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the spacious and clean room. However, a few issues did arise during my visit. I experienced a lack of hot water in the shower, and the kitchen was somewhat under-equipped for cooking. Additionally, there was only one roll of toilet paper provided for the entire stay. On weekends, it can get quite noisy as well. That said, the location is fantastic, within walking distance to several restaurants and the beach. Getting around was simple, with plenty of options available including Uber. Overall, it's a great place with some room for improvement.

The location is great, but the property is not maintained. The Wi-Fi was very bad the staff is rarely available. The check in and check out process was long and complicated. There is no staff in the evening so you must enter and exit through the underground parking only. The rooms are not serviced but there are no supplies in the room to clean yourself.

En la habitación el lavabo del baño, se encontraba tapado y los tubos de las toallas para secar manos y para el baño, estaban caídos. Faltó mejor surtido de utensilios de cocina, como sartenes, cucharas para cocinar y tenedores. El volumen de la tele TV en la habitación: demasiado bajo. En la entrada al estacionamiento, había mucha basura acumulada y desparramada

My 4th stay at Casa Barros. There is one big negative but many positives. PROS: The rooms are big, clean and modern. Nice washer and dryer so can pack less. Very nice little kitchen with stove, refrig, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Plenty of hot water with great pressure. Very nice staff. CONS: Only one but a big one. It is on a busy street and it is noisy with many motorcycles and loud pulmonias blaring music, especially on weekends. Bring your earplugs, you will need them

Poor water drainage in the kitchen sink and shower basin. Windows were facing street. The street was noisy at times late into evening.

This was my second stay at this place. The first time was not a good experience but was not unable to cancel my second stay and since I had no choice I stayed here again. However, this time was great. Good and friendly front desk staff and the the room was spacious and everything was working. Some improvement in the cleaning needs to be done because we found a used toothbrush and a used soap in the shower floor. It's a good location and good place for the price.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Mazatlán when is comes to location. Loved having a washer and dryer in my suite. The one draw back for some people, not myself, would be that it is on a busy street that can be noisy on weekends and holidays.

We rented a 3 bedroom appartment. It was a good size and seemed clean. Receptionist was kind but nealry impossible to run into her at the front desk. Even calling was tough. First night we arrived at 6pm and the doors were locked, fortunatly someone was outside that was able to help us contact them so we could get in. Honestly i think had these ladies not been there we would have had to spend the night elsewhere or in our car. When i booked the hotel it said it was family freindly but i dont think id recommend family with small children staying here. It got really loud at night from music and parties. We got up at 6am tho and went for a walk and basically had the whole town to ourselves which was nice. The beach was close by, it was a beautiful little town but i think if we ever go again well be staying somewhere quieter and somehere we can actually get in after 4pm!

Mixed: 1) HATED, HATED, HATED the $50USD cleaning charge that I had to pay before I could get my room. DISGUSTING! 2) Room was clean, modern and large 3) Street was very noisy and windows are cheap so noise came into room easily. Earplugs are needed.

Communication with staff was no good at all

It was a perfect stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Will not stay again, do not recommend. My room was pretty clean except for the dishes - there were 4 place settings on the table, but they had dust and flecks of dirt on them. The wine *two* wine glass in the cupboard were smeared and grimy. No dishwashing supplies, not even a kitchen towel. Bathroom fixtures showing wear/breakage. Essentially they put the bare minimum into the place. The next night I try to leave the building but the key to the lobby won't release the door. Then I try to get back in my room and that key won't work either. I'm now stuck. Eventually another guest comes down and he tries. No luck - but he knows how to get out through the underground garage. I try contacting the management - no response. I try Hotels.com and they can't really do anything either. I wind up paying for a night at a nearby hotel so I can get some sleep. Returning the next morning at 10am (when they staff the front desk) I tell the staffer and she does nothing other than reprogram my key. That night I come back from dinner... and my key doesn't work again. Luckily I find a security guard who can let me in. The best part? When I check out the next morning the staffer says "let me go check the room" and I explain to her why the key won't work and how it happened 2x, etc. and I stayed elsewhere. She says "oh, weird." Even just an apology or acknowledgement would have gone far. Make sure there is someone available to respond to situations like these.

Great location! Can be loud depending on what is going on malecon. This is our second stay and we can get everywhere we want to go. My kids can walk around without us and feel safe. The pool is another bonus.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Mazatlán when is comes to location. Loved having a washer and dryer in my suite. The one draw back for some people, not myself, would be that it is on a busy street that can be noisy on weekends and holidays.

The condominium is very clean, it is close to the boardwalk and I loved that.

The property was enjoyable with a restaurant next door. We rented a studio that is owned by someone other than the property, but managed by Casa Barros. So, it was bare bones. Would have been nice to have paper towels, but more importantly, this studio needs a few lamps! Also, it would have been nice to have paperwork in English. The rooftop pool is fabulous at sunset! Great restaurants near by.

No maid service but the property is in great condition, quiet, close to restaurants and good zone.
