Very cool hotel. It is for people that do not need a concierge. There is no cable tv.. only Roku. Super comfy bed with plenty of pillows! Snacks, ice & drinks are provided free of charge in the main meeting room. Also, parking is next door in a garage. $8 is the maximum for a day. We would definitely stay here again. Berglund Center is just minutes away. One more thing, the downtown is more like a Richmond or Baltimore downtown. Not a cozy hometown feeling but I felt safe.

This is a completely unique hotel. We stayed in the Fire Chief's office. And the restaurant downstairs is outstanding. And Roanoke: great town! We hope to return before long!

The room and facility at large was very clean. The non-traditional check-in was a bit confusing as the emailed directions indicated a door on the rear of the building. The door in question is actually on the side of the building. Staff who were closing down the related bistro ended up letting me enter through the closed restaurant.

Loved the building and room! Very unique! Mattress was very comfortable, bathroom was nice, if a little small. Good supply of toiletries and towels. Very generous with snacks. The only thing we didn’t like - no one on premises to check us in and having to enter through an alleyway. I would not have been comfortable with that after dark.

The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is very nice. The beds are comfortable. Really everything you could want in a hotel on a basic level The walls are thin in this hotel, you can hear coughing and talking from all around. And you are in a fairly busy area of Roanoke.

Loved the building and room! Very unique! Mattress was very comfortable, bathroom was nice, if a little small. Good supply of toiletries and towels. Very generous with snacks. This is a beautiful location, but it is more like an AirBnB than a hotel. There's no check-in desk and the signage isn't great letting you know that. You get a text or email with your room number and just go straight to your room and key in a code. So there's no front desk to call if you need anything (I couldn't figure out how to turn the AC unit off). It was a beautiful property though and the room and bed were very comfortable!!

We stayed for a week whilst visiting family locally. The room was spacious and airy and the bed soooooo comfortable. It would have been good to have a kettle in the room (we are tea drinkers) but once I asked for one, it was provided and placed in the shared space of the bunk room. Overall we enjoyed our stay- & would definitely come back.
