Clean room, good breakfast. They had 2 restaurants serving breakfast so that helps with variety but a line usually forms but the wait is a few minutes. Half of the elevators were under construction so there were only a few in use and there is always a line for them and they fill up pretty quickly. There are also limited amenities. The hangout spot in 45th (or 47?) floor was not free. I was an expedia VIP member and did not receive any perks but a free parking which obviously was not necessary. That was a bit of a let down. The pros: There is a train station close to the hotel. Across the street there are a number of restaurants available albeit some for tourist but there are a number thar locals do go to for dinner after work. It is very convenient that there is a 7 eleven in the building and is ooen 24hrs. There are also a lot of convenience store that are walkable around the area, I saw 2 Lawsons (and an organic one) and a family mart. The shinjuku cat digital billboard is walkable. Close to that there is a Din Quijote that I believe is open until 3am and across the street is the Gracery Hotel where you can see the Godzilla statue. It is also close to the metropolitan government building and the projection shows at night can be seen by the front door lobby. The room: it was big enough. They do clean it everyday and replenish us with toiletries and supplies which was greatly appreciated. Will we stay here again? Maybe. But not the first hotel in our list.

Nice hotel close to shopping area . However they had only 2 working elevators for 30+ floor hotel is unacceptable. They had world track and field championships and various other events in Tokyo happening the elevators should have been a priority. Waiting 15 to 20 min for an elevator is not good. The mattresses need to be changed the mattress was as hard as the box spring. Otherwise the hotel is nice

The whole family adults and children really enjoyed the Sky Plaza Ibasho. The children had so much fun spending time at the play area. Such beautiful views and a great spot to watch the light show at the Metropolitan Government Building.

Staff are excellent and room is very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, close to Shinjuku. But currently the elevators are horrible (there is maintenance work being done), and the self-serve laundromat is terrible - two cycles through the dryer and my clothes were still wet. Use the hotel’s laundry service instead.

Very clean hotel, the only thing I didn't like was that the pool was closed. Sign said it would open on 19 July-September. I was there from 5-9 July and it was very hot in Tokyo. It should be open so guests can cool off during the hot summer months. Why does the pool open so late in July? Its hot now, I need the pool to be open now.

Spectacular hotel! Location, the staff - checkin, bell hop, massage at Sky Salon, the Bride - Groom kimono experience, pharmacy/ drugstore, housekeeping, and basically everyone we encountered. It was great to have Airport Limo stop directly at hotel, and a free DisneySea bus ride. Discounts at Keio department store. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building with 360 views at tower (free) and evening light show on the building. So much to offer just in Shinjuku.

As a result, we had to pay additional fees. When I contacted an Expedia front-line agent about this issue, they were not helpful in resolving the extra charge. The hotel staff and housekeeping were excellent, but the hotel itself felt outdated. There was mold throughout the bathroom, and the pool was out of service during our stay

The space is definitely the highlight of the room, especially considering this is Shinjuku, Tokyo. Having the limousine bus right at the doorstep was so convenient, especially since we each had two large baggage. The whole room was a bit worn. It is clean but aged and tired. The biggest downside was the mould along the edge of the bathroom basin, which was very unpleasant. I kept accidentally touching it when washing my hands.

The check in was quick. Location is good to get around and for food. We stayed in the south tower and the walls are very thin so i could hear noise from next door and above. The swimming pool was also closed, which we were not told about but found out via the website, which was a shame as it would have been good to use as it was hot.

Fantastic location and huge hotel right at the end of the west side pedestrian tunnel to Shinjuku station. Tons of great restaurants and a lovely rooftop bar with food. It also has its own 7-Eleven, great for midnight snacks when you are on midnight Zoom calls to other parts of the world. The beds are hard - even more so than most Japanese beds, so be warned. Our only real complaint is the WiFi which is needlessly complicated to authenticate to with a username, password and finally a PIN code on a separate and barely functional Captive Portal web page. Every time you bring your phone back to the room after going outside of the hotel it will force you to fully re-authenticate again. Every time you take your laptop to one of the in-house restaurants or bars, or to the conference rooms in the hotel, it will force you to needlessly re-authenticate AGAIN! Its not rocket science to fix this but the hotel hasn't bothered.

This hotel was great—comfortable, clean, and easy to find. The only downside was the lack of communication with foreigners. The hotel is mostly filled with international guests, yet the front desk staff struggled to communicate or provide guidance. I didn’t get clear information until checkout, which was frustrating as a single mom traveling with two boys. Even when I asked the concierge, they weren’t able to help.

Great location, very clean, and most of the staff are super helpful and professional. However, we had a disappointing experience with one front desk employee — a man who mentioned he was born in a Western country and has lived in Tokyo for 23 years. He came across as rude and dismissive when we inquired about a room upgrade and late checkout, benefits we expected as Expedia Gold members. He told us, in a very blunt manner, that “whatever Expedia promised is between Expedia and the customer,” and that the hotel is not responsible for honoring it.

Keio Plaza is very conveniently located near Shinjuku Station West Gate. A short walk away from the craziness of Shinjuku however this area seemed quieter and nicer than other areas we ventured. The rooms were large and clean. Our room had a view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and the free light show at night was so cool! All of the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

This was our fourth stay at Keio Plaza, and we’ve already booked our next trip in December—that probably says it all! We love the location. It’s right by Shinjuku, so we can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and nightlife, but it’s not smack in the middle of the noise and chaos. It’s the perfect balance. Plus, having the limousine bus stop right at the hotel makes getting to and from Haneda Airport super easy and stress-free. But honestly, what keeps bringing us back is the people. The Premier Lounge staff are the absolute best. Every time we walk in—whether for afternoon tea or evening cocktails—we’re greeted with the warmest smiles. They make us feel like family, not just hotel guests. That kind of welcome is rare, and we treasure it every single time. Breakfast at Jurin and Glass Court has also become part of our routine. Great variety, fresh food, and a relaxed atmosphere—it’s the best way to start our day in Tokyo. Keio Plaza isn’t just a hotel for us anymore—it really feels like our home away from home in Tokyo. Breakfast here is a scam: think economy airplane-sized portions, terrible coffee, and when I complained to three staff members, nothing changed — just empty promises to “tell the manager.” Mr. Yutinori at the front desk even told me it was fine to leave a bad review on social media — but still refused a refund. No refund, but please “give us another try for breakfast.” I can literally count on one hand the times I’ve formally complained about hotel food, but this was embarrassing to serve and even worse in how it was handled. For perspective, the airplane meal I had was superior. The staff at Keio should visit McDonald’s for basic training in customer service. By U.S. standards, this is a solid 4 star. We loved our stay, enjoyed the abundant variety of breakfast dishes to choose, sky lounge, and easy access to so much in the area.

This was a perfect area for exploring Tokyo. The hotel is near the Shinjuku Station where you can connect to trains, subways Nex train to airport. It is a very vibrant area with lots to do nearby. The hotel is beautiful. The staff’s very courteous. Amazing customer service. Breakfast buffet wa amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the fewer hotels where you can take the bus to both airports. Friendly reminder that you can use your credit card to buy the ticket on the bus website. Oh, another thing: two free luggage PER TICKET regardless the size of the luggage. Back to the topic, we got the south tower which was supposed to be newer? I guess. The hotel is well maintained. Most staff speak English well. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was professional and helpful. A lot shops nearby where you can practically get anything you normally would like to get in Japan. However, do not expect anything high tech other than the toilet seat. Otherwise, fantastic hotel with great location and great staff.
