Good hotel for the price we paid. Clean and they had several options for breakfast. The pool was clean too. Only complaint is there was only one elevator working so it took a while to get to and from other floors. Beds were also a little too firm for my liking but my husband and kids didn’t complain.

The front desk staff was very friendly. My room was pretty clean, but there was a strong sour mildew smell in there, I think coming from the air conditioner. It was so strong that my clothes soaked up the smell as well. The bed was kind of hard and not very comfortable. The gym was pretty nice and 24/7. The hotel is located near a bunch of restaurant and shopping options.

Hotel is new, clean, bathrooms clean and linens clean. Pool was nice. And breakfast was decent. Coffee waffles eggs and fruit. I plan on staying again. Great place!

The lobby area was very nice but the room had a weird smell, like mold. I got an air spray from the front desk but it didn’t help. My husband ended up cleaning the air filter and it was very dirty. The next morning he had red spots all over his body which was an allergic reaction to the dust mites in the room. Will not be staying there again.

Felt safe and comfortable here. The room air was pleasant, not too cold or warm. Shower worked fine. Bed was easy on our backs. There were actually two TVs which was interesting. The couch included in this standard king room was pretty old and broken down but clean so it was no problem. This hotel is maintenance oriented for the traveler not one with a lot of amenities if that's what you are looking for. It suffices well for a quick couple of nights. Only difficulty for us who are coming from out of town an unfamiliar with the area, it wasn't that easy to get around if you don't know where you were going. I might consider a stay at this kind of hotel on the outskirts of town next time rather than dead in the center. Only thing I missed was a nearby coffee shop which would have had early morning service providing a very good cup of coffee, such as Dutch Brothers or something like that. My husband missed the lack of brochures always available in the past and there was nothing provided to show how to use the TV or channeling which makes it difficult for someone without tech savvy. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever and kudos to the fine housekeeping. They should clearly be recognized, since it is they who make the rooms look nice and clean for the traveler.

Hotel was very neat and clean. It did look like our room was a remodel because there were still spots of spackle that hadn't been repainted yet. The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable but we definitely have had worse. The hotel was in a great location and the hotel staff were very friendly. Overall a great stay for the price. We would stay here again.

It was easy to get to and close to restaurants and the mall. It was quiet and the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. The only thing I didn't like was the low water pressure in the shower on the 4th floor.

Front desk staff were welcoming and engaging whether you were coming or going! Friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was YUMMY! Bed was good! Also liked that we could mirror our phone to stream a movie! We will be back!!

No one at desk for a few minutes , checked into room immediately saw roach on door. Immediately checked out within 5 minutes. Was told by Ms.Bkakta she refunded Expedia and we would need to contact Expedia to ensure we received our refund.

The staff was great! Especially the night shift desk gentleman Jacob. He was super helpfil friendly and accommodating. The kitchen staff who provided the breakfast were impeccable. They made sure everything was clean and replenished at all times and the quality and freshness of the food was excellent. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

The Lady at the check-in was very nice and professional. The hotel appears to be fairly new and looks to be very well maintained. Our room was nice. The bathroom was clean. The AC worked fine. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. I usually bring a fan to give a little white noise but I forgot it this trip. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports. The location seems safe. The parking lot was well lit. There were several restaurants within walking distance. There are several more just two minutes away by car. There’s an HEB grocery store the next block over. The only weak spot was the breakfast. It was ok, but a little more variety with the hot items wouldn’t hurt. Overall my Wife and I enjoyed our stay and we plan on staying again the next time we’re in Corpus Christi.

I don't remember the gentleman's name upfront when I checked in overnight at around 1am but he was awesome. In addition, checking out with Harley was amazing thanks to Harley's attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond should not be ignored.

The stay was not the best. Got into our room with the sheets having stains on them. Was raining and the power spotted out causing the elevators to not work. They put my 89 year old grandma on the top floor and we had to wait 2 hours before one of the elevators worked to help her go down. Through the night people kept trying to open the door and Friday night they assigned someone else to our room at 1am while they were trying to get in. Had called the front and the lady told me she needed to put me on hold as she was helping a person in the front while I was telling her someone was trying to come in my room again and then when I went to open the door to tell the people they had the wrong room they apologized but stood outside the door for another 15 mins. The front lady called back around 1:15am letting us know we had been given the wrong room number the whole stay and then asked if we wanted to move down floors at that time knowing we were checking out only a few hours later. Great location as everything is so close and the smaller beach was only 15 mins away but would stay at another hotel in that area. They did not even apologize just blamed another working for messing up our stay.

We went over the weekend and our plans changed due to the storm and when we got to the hotel Mike was very accommodating and very understanding. Loved that he made our trip more bearable.

My wife and I have stayed at many LaQuinta Hotels over the years and this one did not impress. The water pressure was terrible and the faucets in the vanity sink were backwards. The bed cover had several brown stains on it (don't even want to think they might have been), and the coffee in the breakfast area was terrible, weak and tasteless and several of the food items were gone. I don't believe we'll stay her again.
