The check in went well. The room was clean and slept well. The shower worked good. However, there was a leak above the toilet from the fan. I told the clerk on duty, and he offered to change the room saying it shouldn't be that way. We decided to stay because the rest of the room was good. Then, we saw the ceiling in the bathroom was in very bad shape indicating the problem has been ongoing. The smoke detector was open without a battery! The next morning, we were going to checkout and the male clerk was grumpy saying we didn't have to do anything! Here's the overall review. The place COULD be great if lazy owners put a little more care in their ownership. Its older but that's no excuse for letting small problems become major rennovations.

They stereotyped me as soon as they seen me and automatically were being rude they threatened to call the police on me for smoking whenever I have my medical card and I booked a smoking room for that reason. They refused to give us an extra towel. There was a whole in the bathroom door, the electric socket does the air conditioner plugged into was broke and on top of all that the doors that go into the building, do not lock at all I felt very unsafe.

Place is a trashy dump. Broken down cars all over the parking lot. We showed up late for check-in so couldn’t really tell how dilapidated the outside of the building was until morning. It looks like it should be condemned. Rooms are outdated and in rough shape. Our bathroom door was hanging on by one hinge and all the tile floors were nasty.

Staff was very nice. Property was a bit rundown and parking was extremely limited. The place overall was fairly clean except the towels had the most awful odor and the bed covers needed washed badly. We stayed during a heat wave so the air conditioning was running at max and it may not have been cool but it was alot better than outside. Was what one could expect for such a low price.

This place is a pit! Rusty lamp, damaged lamp shade, damaged lamp, beat-up furniture, wall paint on fixtures and switch plates, ice shelf in fridge is frozen over-can't use, caulking gobbed on toilet base. The owners simply don't care. Security door at back of property cable-tied open (meaning, open to anybody!), door closer broken so the door slams each time used (just try to sleep in until 8 AM - never happen!)

Sheets were stained, got a new set of sheets which were stained but not as bad. Took the original set off and the bed itself had a major urine stain. Black mold in bathroom. Dust hanging from the ceiling. Several wrecked cars (not in driving condition) and parts laying around the parking lot.

I stayed at the Roadway Inn in Benton Arkansas on Thursday 9/18/25. It was a terrible experience. The front lobby was a mess and reeked of a foul stench along with the hallway leading to my room and my room as well. I went to the front desk and ask the clerk if she had a can of disinfectant spray. Unbelievably she did and now I know why. I sprayed my entire room down. The towels smelled of the same foul stench that the room smelled of. Not clean at all. Very filthy. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and motels, but this was by far the worst. When I turned in my room key to the owner at the front desk this morning I told him that the City of Benton in Arkansas health department needs to shut him down. I want a refund on my card please.

The room appeared to be clean but there were bugs. They were in the refrigerator, bathtub, on top of the dresser etc. The bed was not very comfortable. The desk person was very pleasant, but we won't stay there again. Just once I wish the pictures they show you when you are looking for a hotel were true to the hotel. We won't stay there again.

Needs major updates, room was okay had to clean the microwave & refrigerator out before putting my stuff in it. Took a shower and the water fill the tub up and drained very slowly. For a quick stop over I quess it’s okay.

I must admit I was unsure, but I loved it. Very quiet! My room was quite large with a king bed. It had 2 desks, a dinette, fridge, microwave and direct tv. Staff did not bother me. They emptied my trash while I was gone to sessions and touched nothing else. I quite enjoyed not being at a crowded hotel! I will definitely stay here again when I go for sessions next summer!

No breakfast, no coffee machine, I am not sure if we knew that going in. Wafflehouse across the parking lot saved the day. Olive Garden also in walking distance. Same desk clerk the entire 3 days we stayed (already paid for before we got there and places were sold out for eclipse viewing) He gave us a room on the side of the hotel we requested and later helped straighten me out as I was trying to enter the wrong room. Linens and room seemed clean, but the place was generally run down. The Direct TV control box was located down behind a credenza which blocked the remote signals, so you had to stand next to the credenza and aim the remote down behind it to change channels.

You can tell it is a familiar owned business. They had a new credit card system that b was not working. He did get it fixed later in the evenong. My room was very clean. The air worked great. The bed was good and the shower had hot water. It has not been updated in a while. I wished that it least had coffee in the morning. The gentleman was very polite and helpful. We were here doing a flea market.

Before our trip from Michigan I requested a Hotel with Pet Friendly Options. After traveling over twelve hours, we arrived to the Rodeway Inn. It was obvious it was Not a pet friendly hotel. There was no place to walk the dog. We have a small dog around eight pounds. When we were checking out the clerk informed me "Next time we come to not bring the dog. " If that was the case we would have never selected this hotel. When selecting a hotel we specified Pet Friendly. This Hotel was listed as an option when indeed it was not a Pet Friendly Hotel. The Lobby smelled of food, and wet carpet. There were air blowers on the main floor to dry out the carpet. On our next trip, I will not be staying at this hotel.

The building could use some maintenance. The room was clean and it was quiet. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the room, only bar soap. No hair dryer or iron. The trash was not emptied the three days I was there. The owner’s son saw me on day two and asked if I had gotten fresh towels (which I hadn’t) and made sure to get me some. Since I was traveling alone, they kept an eye on me which was nice.

They are very nice people to work with, professional, helpful and caring. It was a quiet area, the king bed and pillows were outstanding, making for a very restful and pleasant stay. We would use them again in the future should the opportunity arise.

You can tell it is a familiar owned business. They had a new credit card system that b was not working. He did get it fixed later in the evenong. My room was very clean. The air worked great. The bed was good and the shower had hot water. It has not been updated in a while. I wished that it least had coffee in the morning. The gentleman was very polite and helpful. We were here doing a flea market.

I must admit I was unsure, but I loved it. Very quiet! My room was quite large with a king bed. It had 2 desks, a dinette, fridge, microwave and direct tv. Staff did not bother me. They emptied my trash while I was gone to sessions and touched nothing else. I quite enjoyed not being at a crowded hotel! I will definitely stay here again when I go for sessions next summer!

They are very nice people to work with, professional, helpful and caring. It was a quiet area, the king bed and pillows were outstanding, making for a very restful and pleasant stay. We would use them again in the future should the opportunity arise.

No breakfast, no coffee machine, I am not sure if we knew that going in. Wafflehouse across the parking lot saved the day. Olive Garden also in walking distance. Same desk clerk the entire 3 days we stayed (already paid for before we got there and places were sold out for eclipse viewing) He gave us a room on the side of the hotel we requested and later helped straighten me out as I was trying to enter the wrong room. Linens and room seemed clean, but the place was generally run down. The Direct TV control box was located down behind a credenza which blocked the remote signals, so you had to stand next to the credenza and aim the remote down behind it to change channels.

This was labeled as an adults only hotel. No screaming kids next door :) Front desk, super nice. My room was at the end and the door leading to outside slammed any time people came in/out that way. That was annoying. They advertise a continental breakfast, but went to eat at 8 am on a Saturday and there was nothing.

Room was nasty. I didn’t even want to shower because bathroom wasn’t clean, and wore shoes the whole time in my room because I was afraid to go barefoot. Glad I had a travel blanket in my car because sheets were dirty so I slept on top of my blanket. No coffee pot in room or lobby. Advertised continental breakfast-even had sign at front desk-said they discontinued that years ago and told me to go to Waffle House across the street. Were rude. Empty vending machines. Lobby area dirty. Parking lot on exit side of building not plowed from recent snowstorm, nor was sidewalk-dangerous. Would have canceled and gone elsewhere but it was late at night when I arrived and had been traveling all day and had early work interview. Will never stay there again. Hot Springs location 2 weeks before was great, which was why I had booked at Benton location when I had to return to AR from out of state to go to Benton area. Do not recommend Benton Rodeway Inn!!!
