It was amazing. Very clean, the staff was very friendly. We basically stayed on the property except to go snorkeling and kayaking. We rented a golf cart and rode around the property. The pool is amazing and huge. And the food was awesome.

I have stayed here since the property’s opening and boy has it changed. The staff—especially the front desk—is rude and unaccommodating. The restaurants are too crowded and parking is a disaster. This hotel has changed so much fromt he quaint southern warm getaway it was when it opened. We will be renting in the area from now on.

This property is gorgeous! I got a King room with a view of the arena. Now if you are planning to sleep in, maybe don't get this room. You will hear the bells go off signaling the rider...but oh my is it worth it to wake up to that!! I saw competitive jumping! It was amazing!! The room was perfect, the spa is nice, the whole hotel is lovely!

Parking easy and secure. Rooms clean and comfortable. Small coffee shop for breakfast nice. The only one thing we would have appreciated is more information at the checking. We didn’t know the Yellow Pony was closing early that day leaving with no inside places for food or drinks.

This stay exceeded my expectations! Every staff member was extremely helpful and got right to it when asked a question. We stayed one night with pulling a boat we had purchased while being in Ocala and the front office staff made sure our rig was parked in a safe location away from everyone. The room was amazing as well along with the room service. Def can not wait to return again!

It was a dream to be so close to the show grounds and horses, but for a hotel that charges more than $500 a night, we got very little rest, the walls were barely soundproof, we could hear the conversation from our neighbors both sides. We had an early show the next day and couldn’t sleep until 11:00 PM. The front desk personnel was pleasant enough when we checked in, but when we went to ask about the golf cart rental, the gentleman at the desk didn’t even bother to look up from his screen and just said the whole sentence “Hi, how are you? how can I help?” without even looking up. When he finally did look up, there was no smile, no further greetings, both my husband and I were baffled, we kept trying to think back to figure out if we’ve offended him.

This property is gorgeous, but, the service level has been stripped to nothing. No coffee in the room, no help with my bags. Keep your 1000$ throw pillows and give me coffee! I checked out and went to the Hilton.

From the moment you arrive, staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Thomas C. went out of his way to assist us with a booking issue we experienced. Every member we encountered was happy, helpful and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. One of the best experiences EVER! Many thanks and we are looking forward to the next stay.

The property is very well kept and maintained . The lobby of the hotel and the rooms are beautiful. Check was difficult even though the hotel reservation had been premade with Expedia and prepaid . The front desk person asked to run my credit card twice for $100 and then proceeded to tell me my card had been declined . On the third try the payment was approved and he did not apologize but merely thanked me for being patient which at this point I wasn’t . The shower although beautiful did not close properly in our room and created a wet mess after each time .

If you visit Ocala this hotel is a must. Stayed for my daughter’s graduation at UF. Gainsville about 25 minute drive, but this hotel is so magnificent it was not to be missed again on our trip to North Florida.

The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant, Stirrups is terrific but overpriced. The signage to find either amidst the maze of stables, arenas and rings that constitute the best horse show facility in the country is nonexistent. The staff could care less if you find that frustrating.

Great 4-star property. Best hotel in the area of Ocala and Gainesville, FL. Our only issue is their on-site restaurants. They aren't up to the same standards as their property. The Stirrups restaurant (their fine dining restaurant) is usually understaffed and they DO NOT answer phones for reservations but rely on leaving messages for a return call. This allows for less staffing. This was a problem with the hotel staff at check-in who couldn't make a dining reservation for us due to no person to answer the call. The restaurant menus were very simple, lacking in interesting selections and fresh seafood. We love Emma's pastry shop. Great example of a well-managed shop with great breakfast selections. Best on-premises. We now eat in Gainesville or Ocala before we return to the property. Great hotel otherwise.

One of my favorite places to stay. Beautiful facility, epically clean and wonderful service. The food and other amenities for purchase are wildly (almost silly) overpriced (room service hamburger is $35 before fees) but the rooms are beautiful and the entire WEC is great.

Great venue, cannot obviously be better situated. Rooms are worth the price. Quality, space. Reception staff was very nice. Yellow Poney pub is quite small for the size of the hotel but has fun options for snacks and drinks. Stirrups restaurant (main dining option) had good breakfast. Very nice staff. Dinner however wasn’t to the level of the price - all items were very very salty.

Me and my husband went for a weekend getaway to see the winter WEC competition. We had such an amazing time! The property is beautiful! We dined at the yellow pony our first night. Our second night we went downtown and dined at a French restaurant. And our last night we dined at the hotel restaurant called Stirrups. The service was amazing. From housekeeping to the restaurant staff. We were VERY late (1 hour!) for our reservations at the Stirrup restaurant because we were watching the Grand Prix competition and the hostess was fabulous. She still was able to seat us and we were able to have a lovely dinner. Our server at stirrups (Gaby) was phenomenal. She was very professional and so nice. We’re definitely coming back here again!
