Parking is available but limited, with a tight, steep garage and a nightly fee; some guests couldn’t find a space despite paying. The bar and on-site restaurant are often closed or offer a limited selection.

Many guests report clean rooms, but recurring comments note hairs, dust, spider webs or insects and some worn areas.

Rooms are dated and compact, with some in the basement; street and corridor noise are common, and there is no air conditioning so warm nights can be uncomfortable. Beds are sometimes small (around 140 cm) or too soft.

Staff are widely described as friendly and helpful, but check-in and reception can be slow, disorganized or unaccommodating, including occasional booking and late checkout issues.

Convenient for events at Volksparkstadion/Barclays Arena with bus links and S-Bahn Stellingen about 10–15 minutes away, and easy access to the A7. Not central, and the busy main road can mean traffic noise.

Breakfast is frequently praised for variety and taste, but several guests found it expensive, crowded, or inconsistent (e.g., cold items or limited vegetarian options). The on-site restaurant is often closed.
