We came for our family Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday and it lived up to everything it stated in the description and more. The place was well kept, clean, accommodating, and all necessary amenities! The pool was heated as we requested. We had six adults and eight kids with plenty of room. Host was extremely accessible and quick to respond if we had any issues.

My family and I spent Christmas time there, we really enjoyed. My only concern was about the pool temperature. I wasn't told by Vrb or Evolve that I had to pay and extra fee to get the water a little bit warm and that I had to ask for it a few days ago. We barely use the pool because the water was so cold.

This home is exceptional. The furnishings are beautiful, extremely clean, incredible deck the length of the house on the river and the pool area is unbelievable. We didn’t want to leave. Went to Vermilion for the eclipse but already decided to book it again for a trip to Cedar Point this Fall. The only thing to be aware of is the fifth bedroom is between the pool area (sliding glass doors in between) and has no door from the main living area). Not a problem for us but something to be aware of. We will be back.

The house was spacious, clean, with a beautiful indoor pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. Spacious dining table for our family to gather. Lot of outdoor seating and nice little river in back that the kids enjoyed fishing in. Close to a small town with putt putt, shops, restaurants and grocery stores if needed. You will need to bring your own hair dryer since none supplied. Also very few pantry items supplied so pack it all if you plan on cooking so you don’t have to buy it all when you get there. My only real disappointment was how the pricing was handled. I booked in the midst of a property change and was charged more than I originally booked for and also more than was on the listing after I had booked. Was not happy with that at all but the house is lovely.

We had a great stay! This house was accommodating for our family of 12. We had ages 1 to 52. We went to Cedar Point, Great Wolf Lodge, Go Carts, rented a pontoon and Mini Golf. We caught and released catfish on the canal, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We stayed in one of the 1st weeks of June with the weather not super warm and a little rainy - having the indoor pool was perfect for the kiddos. Would highly recommend and stay again.

I can’t believe how great this place was! My fiancé and I invited some friends to come celebrate my birthday and it was better than expected. The pool room by far is the highlight of this house. Other than sleeping and eating, we never left the pool. It is the ultimate party spot for all occasions. We payed extra for the pool to be heated, but personally I think we could’ve done without. The weather was much colder when we booked and seemed necessary, but with the temperature being 50 degrees during our trip, it made the room very humid. Just keep that in mind when booking. With that being said, I stand by my 5 stars for this property. We will definitely be staying again.

This was our second stay at this property. The home is spacious and beautiful. The huge indoor pool area is amazing as is the deck running the length of the house along the river. It’s close to Cedar Point and many Lake Erie beaches. We love to look for sea glass. Guest host is helpful and local if you need something. We will be back.

The house was wonderful and was well equipped with everything needed. Planned on spending the weekend in the pool. We paid extra to have the pool heated. We had dinner and headed to the pool to find that is was cold and the heater was never turned on. I contacted the property manager, who got right back to be and said the booking agent admitted to the error. He came right over and turned the heater on but it took almost 24 hours to get it warmed up. The booking agent has not answered any of my emails concerning the error.

The house was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. Great location and loved the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately we won’t be returning as the main bed was too firm for us. We were barely able to sleep and needed the hot tub afterwards. Other than the mattress, everything else was perfect.

We had such a lovely stay! The house was clean and cozy, the pool room is fantastic and even better in person and the owner was very responsive when we needed questions answered. The house is close to main street which features many cute shops and restaurants, plus 7 mins from papermoon winery. It was easy to get there and back with little ones. Highly recommend!

We had a staycation in Vermillion over spring break. The house was great, clean and had all the amenities you need. We left the house and did a few “activities” with the kids but could have spent the whole time there in the pool. The kids loved the bunk beds and the pool. The adults loved the bar area and hot tub. Could use one more TV in one of the bed rooms (so the kids could watch their shows and we could enjoy the NCAA basketball games during March madness). Overall 5 out of 5 stars.

Everything was spotless when we checked in. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen. The pool was everything we expected and the highlight of our trip. The host contacted us immediately to see if we needed anything. The area is quiet and very nice and also close to things if needed. We have been here two years in a row and loved it both times. I highly recommend this place. There were absolutely no issues.

Great set up for playing games and hanging out. Only had 2 issues: pool was cold the first day but warmed up quickly and the house has a strange lay out with a bedroom with no door. We got over it and enjoyed our stay.

We had a very fun time, the place was very clean, the place was warm and cozy. One of the bedrooms does not have a door and you must use the bedroom to get to the pool area which we didn’t realize until we got there but it wasn’t too big of a deal because we were with family. The dolphin for the pool didn’t work but didn’t affect the fun we had. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had for the pool and house. We had a really great time!

Mike, the host was always very responsible and accommodating. Creating memories with my adult children and grandchildren at Vermilion River Home was the best! I was looking for somewhere that would accommodate all age groups and with the indoor pool this home was perfect!

This was our second stay at this property. The home is spacious and beautiful. The huge indoor pool area is amazing as is the deck running the length of the house along the river. It’s close to Cedar Point and many Lake Erie beaches. We love to look for sea glass. Guest host is helpful and local if you need something. We will be back.

Our first time staying at this beautiful property. We had a couple of issues but the host responded quickly to resolve them, and was very pleasant each time we contacted him. We would recommend better hand soap in the bathrooms and possibly a list of available restaurants that deliver would be helpful. Overall we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Everything was spotless when we checked in. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen. The pool was everything we expected and the highlight of our trip. The host contacted us immediately to see if we needed anything. The area is quiet and very nice and also close to things if needed. We have been here two years in a row and loved it both times. I highly recommend this place. There were absolutely no issues.

The house was wonderful and was well equipped with everything needed. Planned on spending the weekend in the pool. We paid extra to have the pool heated. We had dinner and headed to the pool to find that is was cold and the heater was never turned on. I contacted the property manager, who got right back to be and said the booking agent admitted to the error. He came right over and turned the heater on but it took almost 24 hours to get it warmed up. The booking agent has not answered any of my emails concerning the error.

We had such a lovely stay! The house was clean and cozy, the pool room is fantastic and even better in person and the owner was very responsive when we needed questions answered. The house is close to main street which features many cute shops and restaurants, plus 7 mins from papermoon winery. It was easy to get there and back with little ones. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! This house was accommodating for our family of 12. We had ages 1 to 52. We went to Cedar Point, Great Wolf Lodge, Go Carts, rented a pontoon and Mini Golf. We caught and released catfish on the canal, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We stayed in one of the 1st weeks of June with the weather not super warm and a little rainy - having the indoor pool was perfect for the kiddos. Would highly recommend and stay again.

We had an absolutely incredible stay. Can't say enough about this property. So beautiful and such a wonderful opportunity for a quick getaway. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing. We also had some nice visits to downtown Vermilion and Huron. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

The house was absolutely perfect! From the pool to the living area, it was easy to get to and the guest contact was so easy to contact and answered questions very fast! The house was clean and there were enough towels so we weren’t washing towels nonstop. We will be saving this house and coming back!

The house was a perfect weekend away to celebrate my husbands birthday and much needed! Pictures do not do it justice! The pool room is large with so many different seating options and goes out to a large deck that overlooks the water. It was perfect for relaxing, playing games, and cooking for a crowd!

The house was spacious, clean, with a beautiful indoor pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. Spacious dining table for our family to gather. Lot of outdoor seating and nice little river in back that the kids enjoyed fishing in. Close to a small town with putt putt, shops, restaurants and grocery stores if needed. You will need to bring your own hair dryer since none supplied. Also very few pantry items supplied so pack it all if you plan on cooking so you don’t have to buy it all when you get there. My only real disappointment was how the pricing was handled. I booked in the midst of a property change and was charged more than I originally booked for and also more than was on the listing after I had booked. Was not happy with that at all but the house is lovely.

We had a staycation in Vermillion over spring break. The house was great, clean and had all the amenities you need. We left the house and did a few “activities” with the kids but could have spent the whole time there in the pool. The kids loved the bunk beds and the pool. The adults loved the bar area and hot tub. Could use one more TV in one of the bed rooms (so the kids could watch their shows and we could enjoy the NCAA basketball games during March madness). Overall 5 out of 5 stars.

It was a beautiful property that met our needs for entertaining our grandchildren with the indoor pool and hot tub leading to hours of fun for all of us. The house was beautiful! Very clean. The pool was well heated. The hot tub and bar were also a big hit! Each room of the house was just amazingly decorated. Our stay here was perfect. The pool temperature and hot tub temperature were perfect. The house is beautiful inside and outside.The house is decorated beautifully and feels homely. It is so spacious. There are plenty of rooms and bed. The property manager is awesome! He answers right back and is very helpful. I have already recommended this house to some of my coworkers! We take a trip every year to a different state and this was the best vacation and property so far! We did not have children on our trip,but if you do they will definitely love it!
