Funtierland + Mickey's House + Walk to Disneyland + Pool/Hot Tub + Pet Friendly

This property fit our needs very well for our cheer team retreat. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all of us. The pool and spa were a huge plus for hanging out in our down time. Kitchen is getting a little worn down with cupboards and microwave getting broken, but worked for our needs fine. Great stay overall!

Stayed at this property for a family vacation. There were 10 of use, 4 adults and 6 kids ranging in ages from 10 to 15. This was the perfect house to fit all our needs. The kids had fun just picking out their favorite room to sleep in. All the rooms had comfortable beds especially the master bedroom. Kitchen was large enough to fit several people preparing meals and enough seating so we could all eat together. Swimming pool was a huge hit with the kids. The location was great very close to Disneyland and has grocery stores near by. We had a wonderful time.

This is a good property for a large family with young kids. Lots of options for sleeping arrangements. The little kids loved the themed rooms. Nice pool. Strict neighborhood rules, but not an issue for us with little kids and early bedtimes. Communicative host.

This house was the perfect place for our family while on our Disneyland vacation. It was close enough that we could leave in the middle of the day, swim, relax and then go back to Disneyland in the evening and had the right number of bedrooms to fit all of us comfortably.

Very disappointed with the pool area. Had paid for a heated pool and wasn’t warm until 2nd last day out of a 1 week stay. The jets in hot tub didn’t work until 2nd last day either. The pool lights weren’t working, so wasn’t safe for kids to swim after dark. 6 disappointed kids.!

Nice house, lots of comfortable, cute rooms. Great for kids. Pool was also very nice. Worked great for our family trip to Disney.

The property is great, especially for large families with small kids. The themed rooms are a lot of fun. The heated pool was a nice bonus.

Initially getting into the house was an issue but worked with the property management who was very friendly and helpful to get us a new code to get in. House was in a great location with plenty of room for the 10 of us. There was an issue with the hot water, way to hot and dangerous for kids. Overall cleaniness was not what is shown in pictures could use some freshening up and a good wipe down.

We had a great time at Mickey's House! The home was very clean. The rooms were all decorated w Disney themed. The host was VERY ATTENTITIVE..anytime we text, there was a response right away. There are strict rules about when you can be outside but by the time we got back from Disney, we were all ready to pass out any way. We would definitely recommend anyone traveling with a big group or family to stay here. We had Walmart deliver groceries to the house and we were fully stocked for the weekend. Great trip and Great home! Thank you!!

Our stay at Mickey's house was WONDERFUL!!! The house is a fun extension of Disneyland with all of the themed rooms and gave our family lots of space to spread out. We had everything we needed to cook or make snacks at home and the pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. The little ones loved playing in the house and loved all the bunk beds. (Adults, please keep an eye on your kiddos - we had one fall in a moment of inattention, but he's okay.) The king bed in the Dalmatians room was SUPER comfortable! Grandma and Grandpa slept like a dream in the bed. Other family members said the other beds were good too. We adhered to the warnings (you'll get LOTs of warnings) not to be outside between the hours of 10pm and 9am except to come and go from the house since the park opens at 8 and didn't close until 11 or 12. We had one fail where we were exchanging cars in the driveway and left a car parked on the street for a few minutes on our check-out day (Thursday) which is street sweeping day so we got a parking ticket. There was a clear warning in the house, so it was our fault due to our own inattention. Just make sure you always park in the driveway and you'll be fine. We all went barefoot most of the time in the house and did notice that our feet got a little dirty on the tile floors. That was the only thing that was less than perfect in terms of cleanliness. Some things are a little run down from use (tile in the Dalmatians bathroom) but still usable and overall very nice.

The house very dirty, couch was broken along with other broken things in the house. It’s about a 20 min walk to Disneyland there’s a very strict noice curfew for guest that stay at this house but the neighbors don’t have to follow it. The only nice thing about this house was the customer service Anytime I called with a problem everyone was so nice and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The location was perfect, and the house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Rapunzels Tower house. Not Mickey's. It was very clean! We had 12 people, adults ranging in age from 25-70 and children 2-14. It was the perfect house for every age. The kitchen is a good size, stocked, and there is plenty of seating. There are strollers to choose from, a crib and two pak n plays for small ones. A baby gate for the stairs and some toys as well. Extra bedding in closets and we even moved a mattress to a floor since there were extra. We were there 4 full days, 3 of which were in Disney. The 4th day we celebrated Thanksgiving and the kids swam. We did not pay extra to heat the pool but would do so in the future if I stayed again, as the kids said it was chilly. It’s close enough that you can UBER for cheap but not to walk to Disney. Unless you’re used to walking a lot. It’s about a 45 minute walk. Since we walked 10 miles a day in the park we drove the 7-10 minutes and parked there. After a long day, walking home was not an option for our group. The FuntierLand staff were very friendly. Texting with them was simple and I received immediate answers. There are cameras out back in case of rowdiness after 10 pm, which we didnt mind; If you follow the rules, you’ll have no problems at this rental. I wouldn’t want a rowdy rental in my neighborhood either. So just be respectful. We were pretty much asleep by 10pm. Neighborhood is good. Typical working class, friendly people and very quiet. We would definitely stay in Rapunzels Tower again.

One thing that always bothers me is the sheets. While the beds are plush and comfortable the sheets do NOT stay on, the fitted sheet is for a mattress without the pillowtop. The house is clean but not spotless, I had to move a dresser to plug in a fan and it was dirty behind/underneath, it had not been moved in a while, additionally behind the garbage can had old garbage on the floor and around the washer/dryer was dirty. The house is older and reflects its age, however everything worked. The pool/hot tub was good, the kids enjoyed it. The AC did not work well or really circulate and kept turning off after 30 minutes, it is all programed, probably so it does not run full blast when no one is there, but it was warm during the afternoons, can not imagine in the summer. There are fans in every room. Overall, a good property. Disney is a good walk, we took an uber, it was under $10 each way.

Ice maker/water in fridge was unhooked and didn’t work. I contacted property manager to let them know, they offered to send someone out, was not interested in having anyone come out. I do feel like they must know because it is disconnected. I wouldn’t have cared if I knew ahead of time so I could’ve brought ice with me. Property manager was extremely helpful and responded almost immediately. I would stay again. Walk was nice to the parks.

California did not disappoint! The VRBO was in a great location, central to most of our scheduled events. I would not recommend this home if you are traveling "pool-loving" children and young adults as the quiet times are very restricting ( 9am - 10pm). The neighbors are very rude and yelled at us during our given pool/outside times for being loud - not cool as we were NOT too loud. The home itself is very dated and needs a lot of updates. We arrived on a Saturday with a broken shower (1 of 3) and no remotes for the main TV. Since it was the weekend, there wasn't a maintenance person to address our concerns until late Sunday and not fully resolved until Monday. Eleven people with 2 working showers after traveling and getting ready in the morning was frustrating, not to mention that the guys had no TV during a weekend of March Madness! **Our concerns were addressed eventually, but I feel that the property should have been checked out before each new arrival.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The location was perfect, and the house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The insane amount of communication regarding house rules made me anxious and overwhelmed instead of enjoying my stay. Texts while I was at Disney reminding me to be quiet when I got home, calls/texts/emails the days leading up to my trip, the city coming out as a courtesy because a neighbor complained about noise at 930a in the morning, which ended up not being us but the neighbor and is within the "rules" anyway. The sign on the wall that states you can drink your coffee on the patio if you do so alone, cmon. Parking actually fit 5 cars without blocking sidewalk, company did not inform me of street permit so I stressed about where to park our extra cars for no reason. The home fit 10 adults and 5 children easily, plenty of linens, the kids loved the themes of course, location to Disney was great, especially for fireworks. State the rules and then leave it at that unless a problem arises. Neighbors that complain for no reason at all should not impact the trip I paid for.

The owner or manager cancelled my reservation because the house was not for 15 people, only for 10 people.

We had a wonderful time. The house is large and had plenty of room for everyone. The house is older and it shows but nothing to the extent that hampered our stay. We were surprised to find the pool was heated since we did not request it, but after speaking to the management company they advised that booking through VRBO requires the pool to be heated. This was not clear in the listing, but they did agree to refund us 2 of the 3 days of cost of heating the pool, so just be aware of this VRBO requirement. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels. We were only able to find 1 kitchen towel so we went through a lot of paper towels, but we were prepared as we brought our own. Overall the stay and the communication with the management company was great.

We had 8 adults, 2 kids and a baby. And this house was perfect. The host kept in contact with us before, during and after our stay. They were super helpful and made our stay easy. The houses are super close to each other but it was not an issue.

the minute we walked into the house the grand kids had the disney magic start, it was close enough for an uber ride to the park, could not find any of the bus stops they said were close on the map, luckily we rented a car to transport littles because disney does not check car seats and uber does not have car seats. the house had a stroller to use and that was wonderful, the pool is great, you can even see some of the fireworks from the back yard seating area,
