Villa Copenhagen

Everything was great except for the pool and sauna which were both not hot enough for January outside temperatures. It was lukewarm in outside temperature below 0. We picked the hotel because it had a pool and sauna, so it was disappointing. Fantastic breakfast!

Do not book this hotel because of the pool. It is too cold and therefore worthless unless high summer in July in Denmark.

Väldigt trevligt! Fint rum, god frukost. Gymmet var fint men litet. Tyvärr för kall pool för att bada under vintern.

Lovely hotel. The common spaces were really nice. You only had one hour for the pool, but it was also nice. The room (standard king) was extremely small. Great location. Not entirely sure it was worth the price (only an hour for the pool and sauna and size of room), but it was a very comfortable stay otherwise.

Godt beliggende hotel med gode værelser og lækker indretning i moderne stil, men lever ikke helt op til sine 5 stjerner i min optik. Tjekkede ind hjemmefra på opfordring fra Villa i en sms. Ved ankomst virkede det ikke og alle oplysninger skulle afgives til skranken igen. En del kø ved ankomst. Ankom på solksinsdag og fik at vide at poolområdet først åbnede for hotellets gæster kl 18, da der var 'hangover Sunday' for udefrakommende gæster... Vi må vente med at gå i pool til kl 18 og solen forsvinder fra området kl 18:15. Så hvis hotellet var valgt pga sin pool fik vi sølle 15 min ved poolen i sol... Samtidig ventede vi på drinks fra poolbaren i 20 min. Ikke imponeret må jeg sige.

Loved the rooftop pool and the sauna! Love that you had to schedule your pool time so that it doesn't get overcrowded. The view from pool was phenomenal and it was heated! Literally located across the street from the train station so it took me all of 10 minutes from airport to hotel on the rail. It is close to EVERYTHING! Shops, Tivoli is across the street, restaurants, everything. Only thing I didn't like was the room service selections, otherwise- everything was great!

This hotel was excellent. We had a corner junior suite and a deluxe king room. The rooms were well appointed. The ceiling in the deluxe king was quite low and slanted and our daughter hit her head a few times. It was nice having a tub in the deluxe king. The junior suite was oddly placed outside a fire door making it awkward to enter. The door was heavy and you needed a key to basically get to the lobby and leave the area. I wouldn’t choose this room again. We upgraded to it for an extra 7000 dkk for the 9 nights. The other issue I have with the hotel is that taxis cannot stop in front of it. When we arrived we were dropped off on the opposite side with 9 bags in the rain. It was very awkward. It would make me think twice about staying here again. The menu for room service was also very limited. What we did enjoy was the location to Tivoli. The design of the hotel and decor in the rooms is outstanding. The staff are also very helpful and excellent in every way. The breakfast was well worth the money as it was a full buffet and tasty. We were very disappointed in the pool and sauna. We booked the 9:00 time slot every night and it was too crowded each night to even go in the sauna. About 8 people fit comfortably in the sauna but they allow bookings for up to 40 people. It doesn’t make sense. The pool was far too cold to ever use. We actually booked this hotel for the pool and sauna so it was really disappointing that we couldn’t use it.

Fin hotell över lag men rummen var små och väldigt lyhörda, man blev väckt av tågen på natten och utomhuspoolen var inte speciellt varm, bastun var överfull och det var kö in.

Flot Flot hotel, god stemning , fedt poolområde. Minus ved opholdet: efter vores mening total fejl tolkning at have en dickjokey til at spille mega høj musik i loungeområdet, hvor mange gerne vil sidde og hygge, småsnakke eller evt. læse i en bog. Brød til morgen ikke noget at råbe hurrah over. På trods kommer vi gerne igen.

A great stay in this luxury hotel. The rooms, bathroom and rooftop pool/sauna area were all meticulously clean and even the stairwells. The staff were superb, the lobby/bar area with the glass roof was fantastic to relax in and the bakery next door 'Rug' had amazing pastries. If you are a light sleeper maybe the morning trains trundling in and out will disturb you but we didn't mind. The Saturday night summer fireworks at Tivoli can be seen from the hotel too. My teens also really liked this hotel.

Super lækkert hotel med super fantastiske venlige smilende medarbejdere hele vejen rundt. Værelset/bad er meget lille og ikke 5***** størrelse, sengen i topklasse og godt klimaanlæg, lå dog en stor fnuldermand på gulvet ved ankomst. Morgenmad super lækker og frisk. Pool området dejligt, lækkert og friskt. Sauna lille og ville ønske at sauna ovnen blev dækket ind så man ikke ka berøre denne på siderne da området omkring denne er lidt trang, ligeledes må man håbe at hotellet vil sørge for at folk tar håndklæde med i sauna som sidde underlag, da det er mega uhygiejnisk at sidde i badetøj direkte på træet og svede herpå. Alt i alt, jo tak😉

Le ménage est a revoir, la brosse pour nettoyer les WC était pleine d'excrément !! Le frigo était très sale. Globalement, nous avons passé un bon séjour mais cet hôtel ne mérite aucunement 5 étoiles (peut être 3 a tout cassé). Nous avons l'habitude de voyer dans des hotel "haut de gamme" c'est bien la première fois que nous voyons ca. Pas de portier, pas de chaussons ??! Il faudrait vraiment revoir l'insonorisation, un hotel "5 étoile" à coté d'une gare ca pardonne pas, entre le crissement des trains sur les rails et les annonces de la gare, on aurait pu croire qu'on dormait dans le hall de gare. Sans compter que dès que quelqu'un marche dans le couloir ses pas résonne dans la chambre, à croire que soit les gens marchent comme des hippopotame ou alors tout est beaux en surface mais tout est très fin. Bref c'est Joli, c'est confortable, le personnel est sympa, mais passé votre chemin si vous voulez dormir.

Das Hotel selbst gefällt mir architektonisch sehr gut, die Zimmer finde ich hübsch, jedoch für ein 5-Stern Haus doch sehr klein. Apropos 5-Stern: Es gibt keinen Bellboy, der einem die Koffer abnimmt. Beim Frühstück bringt einen Niemand zum Platz, also sitzen lauter Pärchen auf Vierertischen und es gibt in der „rush hour“ keinen Platz. Es gibt keine Slipper am Zimmer, weil das „umweltschädlich“ ist. Man müsste die Slipper kaufen, also rennen alle Gäste barfuß durchs Hotel zum Pool… Handtücher wurden NICHT getauscht, obwohl sie am Boden lagen. Wahrscheinlich auch wegen der Umwelt. In Summe ein hübsches Hotel, das Service ist aber meilenweit von einem 5-Stern Standard entfernt.

Clean and nice staff

Rigtig gode senge dog lidt høje😀 rigtig god morgenmad😀 det meste af personalet er ikke dansktalende men meget søde og hjælpsomme. Kaffemaskinen på værelset var ikke tømt for kapsel fra en tidligere gæst, ellers fin rengøring.

Spotless room, amazing staff. Perfectly located outside of the train station and so many food choices.

Et fantastisk hotel, godt værelse og meget rent👍. Morgenmad er ligeledes fantastisk, de bager selv - det mærkes tydeligt. Kan varmt anbefales, eneste minus er hvis du ankommer i bil, det er ikke optimalt

Super hotel, og super værelse - lidt småt, men ok til vores behov. Toilettet og badet virkede noget slidt, og brusehovedet trængte til at blive afkalket. Der kom ikke meget vand ud.

Really noisy room. The announcements from the train station and the sounds of the trains could be clearly heard in the room. Otherwise a nice clean hotel.

Beautiful and clean hotel that is centrally located for main railway station and Tivoli gardens. Rooms a little small and hanging space for just 2 items of clothing!

Lovely hotel with extremely helpful, friendly staff. We were in a standard room and it was smaller than expected (other 5 star hotels that I’ve stayed in have much larger rooms). There was also no bath in the bathroom which I was surprised about; there was just a shower. Beds are very comfy. Unfortunately our room overlooked the street which had roadworks and it was very noisy overnight when vehicles drove over the metal sheets on the road-we slept so badly the first night that we had to buy earplugs for the second night.

Great property with excellent dining options, like the bar and bakery, creative cocktails and a dreamy rooftop pool with di sets. Great central location, beautiful building. The only negative point was the room, while it was very nicely decorated it was tiny and the bathroom had no real door so in a tiny room that’s very uncomfortable. Nowhere to put your stuff and suitcase, closet didn’t fit more than a few jackets. But overall had a very good stay

**Disappointing Experience Despite Early Booking** I booked this property **11 months in advance**, expecting a smooth check-in, but upon arrival, I was informed that no room had been set aside for me. The staff assured me they would provide the **"best room,"** but unfortunately, that was not the case. The room we were given was **an internal room overlooking the bar**, which meant no natural light or privacy. A **street-facing room** would have been a much better choice if they were truly offering the best available option. Additionally, our room was located **right next to the staff service room**, resulting in constant noise **day and night** from banging doors and activity. While the staff was polite, the lack of organization and the disappointing room allocation made for a frustrating stay. I expected better, given how far in advance I booked. Would not stay here again unless guaranteed a proper room in advance.

Nice newer hotel in the heart of Copenhagen that in general has a good vibe, nice rooms and friendly front staff. However a few mishaps coloured the overall experience a bit less great than it could have been. 1. Restaurant Kontrast... Food was really well made and delicious, but serving and especially wine serving went terrible wrong. We got our food before even getting the table ware and wine also came after the food. Wine was over priced and not worth the money and actually we also got a different bottle, than on the wine card.... 2. After checking out I found out by coincidence when checking my credit card account, that I had been wrongly charged another entity/customers bill...and though I confronted the hotel with this, they only paid back partial amount...When asking why I didnt get the full amount they have so far ignored me... These things should not be happening at a Hotel like Villa Copenhagen and draw down our overall experience of what could otherwise have been a really great stay.

Det er et fantastisk flott hotell! Men vi synes at servicen ikke oppfyller 5-stjerne standard. Vi tok kontakt med resepsjonen for å få kaffekapsler (det glemte renhold å fylle med hver dag). Vi fikk beskjed om at de kom til å bringe det på rommet, men det skjedd aldri. Synes at service må være på topp på dette nivået.

Tiny room. The crevice in the main restaurant was simply APPALLING. We ate there twice. On the first visit we waited twenty minutes to give a drink order! Only one waitress and the young man helping her spent most of his time schmoozing with other patrons. When it came to pay the bill they were falling over themselves with charm. The srcond visit was no better, we only got served when I went to the desk and broke up a conversation between the servers to get them to take our order. The same young man contrition ignored us and was ostensibly rude when circumstances forced him to deal with us. Best item on the menu was the cod.

Villa CPH er et dejligt hotel. Men indtjekning er håbløst. Kunne checke ind online inden ankomst og fyldte alle oplysninger ind, inkl kreditkortoplysninger. Ved indtjekning blev vi bedt om at udfylde alle oplysninger igen samt præsenterer fysisk kreditkort. Så forstår jeg ikke formålet med online indtjekning inden ankomst, det er en ommer. Udover dette er Villa CPH et skønt hotel.

Check-in process was pleasant and efficient. Staff was very friendly. Location across from the train station and walking distance to the old town attractions was very convenient. Cafe in the hotel was great.

Perfect location for the station, well designed me kept hotel, excellent breakfast, very slow check in.

Overall we had an average stay here, the property is nice and it has a great location. However, on our day of departure a private group / event took over the hotel and the staff seemed to prioritize the private group. Our hotel keys were disabled an hour prior to check out, which occurred to other guests not belonging to the private group. At check out, we were told that we could only check our bags with them until 3pm by one staff member, then 2:30pm by another staff member as the private event which started at 3pm would make the hotel inaccessible. After agreeing to pick up our bags by 2:30 pm, we sat in the lobby to figure out our plans for the afternoon, we were approached by another staff member saying that the lobby was closed for the private event at 12:00 pm and we could not sit there. It would have been understandable if we knew that this private event was going to limit the amenities of the hotel, but we had no knowledge of this upon booking or leading up to our stay.

Great location close to the railway station and Tivoli Gardens. Swimming pool and sauna were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem for them. Food in the Courtyard and bakery was good. Great stay and look forward to returning.

Located right beside main train station in the middle of downtown; next to Tivoli. Very handy connection to the airport or elsewhere in Denmark (by train). Beautiful, modern hotel, outstanding breakfast buffet, clearly set up for conferences / large parties. Nice heated rooftop pool and sauna. Loved it!

The location of this hotel could not be better. Just steps away from the central station, making it incredibly convenient for trains and exploring the city. Despite being in such a central spot, the rooms were quiet and comfortable, allowing for a great night’s rest. Staff were welcoming and efficient, and check-in was a breeze. Perfect choice if you want easy access to everything without compromising on comfort. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel for a short stay in Copenhagen. Right next to the main train station, so convenient to the airport. 5-minute walk to Tivoli. 10-minute walk to main shopping street. Very chic, great breakfast buffet, nice pool and sauna, quiet!

Villa Copenhagen is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Copenhagen. Everything is first class. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers traveling to Copenhagen.

Beautiful hotel, right next to central station and the metro so perfect for getting across the city and to the airport. Small but very comfortable superior room. Super comfy bed and modern amenities. Really quiet, clean and fabulous staff. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced, fresh amazing pastries baked in front of you plus a huge choice to fill you up for your day exploring the city. Brasserie again excellent, extremely high quality and delicious food and the courtyard for drinks and snacks had such a lovely atmosphere. The hotel should be so proud of their staff at this hotel they were all so friendly and genuinely wanting to help. Extremely efficient with check in and out. Would very highly recommend.

Jep blev godt nok skuffet og føltes ubehageligt, efter at jeg havde siddet nogle timer i courtyard. Jeg køber to flasker bollinger samt cocktails for 1500 kr.. Vi går ind på t37 med resten af flasken og blive nærmest verbalt overfaldet og følte os meget uvelkommen. Vi skulle købe mad var dét eneste vi fik at vide , trods vi kun ønskede at sidde og spise. 200 kr seddel hjalp. Elendig service, men rigtig dejlig mad!

This hotel made our stay in Copenhagen nearly perfect. The location near to Museums, restaurants and Tivoli made it easy to go back and enjoy the rooftop pool when we needed a break. The rooms were lovely and the lobby was a great place to gather with our family and play cards. The food at the hotel was delicious - my only complaint would be the prices were very high and breakfast was not included.

Probably one of the best stays for the it’s price range, ever. The breakfast is STELLAR!! Try the oatmeal mixed with the nuts and syrup, and whatever you do, DONT miss the sourdough bread!!!! Located next to the trainstation it is super central and convenient! Lovely crew!!! Great service 5/5!!!!
