I don’t have enough good things to say about our stay! This home is lovely with all of the little amenities that you could think of or want. The master bedroom was my favorite room. It’s complete with a fully adjustable bed and the most comfortable pillows and blankets. The mini library and sitting area were perfect for reading or just relaxing. It’s also where are 13-year old son came every evening to just sit and talk with mom and dad. This was the best part of our trip! The views from the balcony overlooking the water were phenomenal. I loved leaving the sliding glass door open and falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the breeze filling the room. The second bedroom is a bit small, but it worked for our two teenagers. Both bathrooms were fully stocked with ample towels, toiletries and extra amenities (bidet, in-shower shaving mirror, hair dryer). We also never ran out of hot water, which was a first for our family of four while traveling. The living room was very comfortable with the giant leather sofa and big screen television with various streaming services at our disposal. The dining room is situated with glass windows/doors on two sides - it was lovely to dine there and look out across the water and hear the surf. As someone who doesn’t always feel safe while traveling, the added security system put my fears at ease. This was a very appreciated feature.

We'll be back! This was a great place to hang out with local friends. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought in making this a great property. The kitchen is very well equipped and provisioned. We prepared several meals there--my travel knives were unused. The bathrooms are also very well equipped. We really liked the mattress in the master bedroom and also the sitting area. This room can be very bright in the morning so bring a sleep mask if that bothers you. The living room also had a very comfortable sectional sofa that was so nice that my wife wants to buy one for our house. This area and the deck were where we hung out mostly. Overall, highly recommended.

We had another lovely stay at this beautiful house on the lake! The view of the lake from the primary bedroom is our favorite. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, we enjoyed our streaming services on the large TV, and watched the sunset from the deck. It was a wonderful, relaxing getaway.

Spent alot of our time at presque isle, During our stay it was an awesome experience watching the 4 Bald Eagles land in the tree 20 feet from the back deck every day. Overall a great place to stay, absolute would stay there again!!!

Perfect home to stay right on Lake Erie! The views from both floors are breathtaking and the sounds of the waves were peaceful and calming. It’s a blessing to hang out on the decks to enjoy the sounds and sights of the lake. It was a bit too windy during our stay, but sleeping with the windows open would have been a dream! In the same day we saw a double rainbow in the morning and a gorgeous sunset in the evening! The home is very clean and accommodating, no detail was missed! The decor was wonderful and you can tell the house is well cared for. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay on Lake Erie. Even though you can’t access the water, it’s absolutely worth it! We are very grateful for the chance to stay here!!

Absolutely perfect home for a couple weekends getaway. Cozy with a fantastic view of the lake from the master bedroom. Owners could not have put more care into their home, very clean, quality appliances, fast Internet and thought into every little detail. Everything was provide from a fully stocked kitchen, blankets in the living room, large screen TV, coffee tea, laundry and bath supplies all the way through to wrapped toothbrushes and paste in case you forgot. We've never stayed somewhere the owners out this much care and thought into their guests happiness and satisfaction. They've set a high bar and we will definitely be back next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Ethan’s place. Absolutely gorgeous views and the house is so comfortable you don’t want to leave. So nice sitting on the deck watching the eagles fly by. We will definitely be back for another stay hopefully soon.A

We were very impressed with this property. It was the perfect location to celebrate my wife’s birthday and to have her cousin and her husband stay with us. We never left except to buy some donuts. We sat out on the patio overlooking the lake almost all day. The furnishings and amenities were all top-notch, from the Toto bidet to the ninja coffee maker to the king size adjustable bed looking out over the lake. We even saw the “green flash” of the sun setting, 2 bald eagles landed in a tree 25 feet from us, and the smell of grapes was ever present.

Where to start. We stayed for a week, family of two adults and one 7 year old. Property exterior is very well maintained and handsomely landscaped. Parking is in front of property and clearly designated. Checking in procedure was easy and clearly communicated to us in advance, we arrived at exactly 4pm and everything was ready. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the house, everything was clean, neat, and organized. The kitchen is very well equipped, from coffee machines to tea kettles, a full set of non stick cookware, and every utensil you could want, all clean and in great condition. A very well thought out kitchen! Beds in both bedrooms were well made and comfortable, extra linens and blankets were on site. Portable fans were provided, which is a nice touch, in addition to the ceiling fans. We took advantage of the on site washer and dryer, which allowed us to pack lighter and come home with all clean laundry. Host provides great entertainment options, from high speed WiFi to a large tv with streaming capabilities. The deck overlooks Lake Erie with plenty of comfortable seating for those amazing sunsets. We can recommend this house without any reservations, it was so comfortable and nice to come back to in the evenings after visits to Niagara Falls, Freeport Beach, Erie, and so many other local attractions. A perfect vacation house for a small family!

Excellent and prompt communication with host. Property exactly as described, and very clean. Guest book provided clear instructions regarding the amenities and pre-checkout procedures. Very nice home with great accomodations. Good directions and easy instructions to get in . I woukd have liked better lake access, but the deck and kitchen were outstanding. My reccomedation, bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep later than 5:30.

Absolutely loved our stay. The owner thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and convenient. The little things mean a lot to us, like having a space for glasses and meds on each side of the bed, space in the bathroom for your toiletries, body wash and shampoo provided, well stocked kitchen, a large table to have a family dinner and game night. Playing "Clue" was a favorite of the kids. Mine was watching the sunset and stars at night out the huge windows overlooking the lake.

This is the best VRBO property at which we have stayed. Perched on a cliff above Lake Erie in a quiet neighbor owned community, we were surrounded by quiet luxury. Ethan is a superb communicator. The few minor issues we had were quickly and rapidly resolved by Ethan. All issues were a result of our lack of understanding of features; Ethan quickly educated us on correct operation. The eclectic decoration left us discovering new decor items until the last day of our seven day stay. The luscious Italian black leather L shaped sofa is but one such item. Ethan's eagles were a daily delight as they perched on the treetops at the lake's shore. We even caught one eagle catching it's dinner from the lake. Sunrises and especially the sunsets were stunning (and we have the pictures to prove that!). We like to cook and Ethan's kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. From high end knives on a magnetic rack to several different methods available to churn out morning coffee. The pots and pans appeared to be brand new, never used. Was it perfect? No but so close it's hard to see the difference. We will visit this property again.

The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, we enjoyed our streaming services on the large TV, and watched the sunset from the deck. It was a wonderful, relaxing getaway.

Absolutely perfect home for a couple weekends getaway. Cozy with a fantastic view of the lake from the master bedroom. Owners could not have put more care into their home, very clean, quality appliances, fast Internet and thought into every little detail. Everything was provide from a fully stocked kitchen, blankets in the living room, large screen TV, coffee tea, laundry and bath supplies all the way through to wrapped toothbrushes and paste in case you forgot. We've never stayed somewhere the owners out this much care and thought into their guests happiness and satisfaction. They've set a high bar and we will definitely be back next year.

Excellent and prompt communication with host. Property exactly as described, and very clean. Guest book provided clear instructions regarding the amenities and pre-checkout procedures. We enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood and accessing the shore nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay right on the lake.

The property was great for our Thanksgiving get-together. The view of Lake Erie is wonderful, the house is comfortable and well-appointed (with a great kitchen), and our hosts were excellent. In fact, the owner (Ethan) really went above and beyond. We were unexpectedly snowed in by a lake-effect storm, and Ethan reached out to a neighbor who brought us pizza and wine! Just terrific people all the way around. A heartfelt thanks to all. We would definitely return to the Lake House!

This is the best VRBO property at which we have stayed. Perched on a cliff above Lake Erie in a quiet neighbor owned community, we were surrounded by quiet luxury. Ethan is a superb communicator. The few minor issues we had were quickly and rapidly resolved by Ethan. All issues were a result of our lack of understanding of features; Ethan quickly educated us on correct operation. The eclectic decoration left us discovering new decor items until the last day of our seven day stay. The luscious Italian black leather L shaped sofa is but one such item. Ethan's eagles were a daily delight as they perched on the treetops at the lake's shore. We even caught one eagle catching it's dinner from the lake. Sunrises and especially the sunsets were stunning (and we have the pictures to prove that!). We like to cook and Ethan's kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. From high end knives on a magnetic rack to several different methods available to churn out morning coffee. The pots and pans appeared to be brand new, never used. Was it perfect? No but so close it's hard to see the difference. We will visit this property again.

A truly lovely home in a perfect location for lazing, watching eagles dive for fish, and meandering through vineyard country and the friendly towns of North East and Erie. Ethan and his local mgr were perfect hosts and a snafu with the door code was quickly resolved. The house was spotless, well equipped, and the bed is the best we've ever slept in in over 30 VRBO stays. There are 1-3 steps here and there so mobility- or vision-challenged folks want to be careful. Kitchen is large enough for two to work easily and has everything you could need to prep a meal. Highest recommendation. I'd give the house six stars if I could.

An unexpected trip for a family funeral had me stay here, and it was the perfect place to rest, restore and find beauty in the waters of Lake Erie. Ethan could not have made my stay better. Easy to follow directions and suggestions, gorgeous views and the most comfortable bed. Would highly, highly recommend and will be plan to return my family.

Ethan, the owner, was so nice and accommodating. We came up for our elopement and "mini honeymoon" and wanted a quiet place on the lake. The home is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom has a breathtaking view of the lake, and at night, the stars. We very much enjoyed our short stay and will definitely stay again in the future.

The biggest plus side for this house is the hosts, they were so kind, caring, and accommodating to our family. Also very responsive, everytime I messaged they replied in less than 5 minutes. The house itself is so cozy and welcoming and the views from the back deck are amazing! I was a little disappointed when we arrived to find there was no water access at the house but we discovered after the first day that there is a neighborhood access point about 5 houses down. We were able to easily drive our car there and walk down the path to the water. The path is a little steep but very manageable, my almost 70 year old parents had no issues with it. Everytime we went over there was no one there and we had the place to ourselves, lots of room to swim or boat, and my husband caught a massive catfish in the water. I would suggest curtains or blinds be added to the upstairs bedroom because it gets so bright and hot in there during the day, was a little difficult for my baby to take afternoon naps as well because it was so bright. The only major issue we had during our stay was that the A/C quit working after about a day and a half. I contacted the host and he came over immediately to look at it. It could not be fixed during our stay but the host was genuinely sorry about it and offered to buy us dinner and credited us a night's stay for the inconvenience without us even asking for anything. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were happy with how the host handled the issues that came up.

We just returned from a short getaway (4/3-4/6/24). What an amazing house! The weather was not cooperating; but this place has wonderful decks and the view of Lake Erie is absolutely gorgeous. This property is even better in person! The whole place includes high end appliances, linens and furniture. A beautiful combination of historical charm and modern comforts! Perfect home to stay right on Lake Erie! The views from both floors are breathtaking and the sounds of the waves were peaceful and calming. It’s a blessing to hang out on the decks to enjoy the sounds and sights of the lake. It was a bit too windy during our stay, but sleeping with the windows open would have been a dream! In the same day we saw a double rainbow in the morning and a gorgeous sunset in the evening! The home is very clean and accommodating, no detail was missed! The decor was wonderful and you can tell the house is well cared for. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay on Lake Erie. Even though you can’t access the water, it’s absolutely worth it! We are very grateful for the chance to stay here!!

We loved our stay here! The view is absolutely stunning and the host provided anything and everything we would need for a comfortable stay. This is a great location, close to Presque Isle and the bay, yet not right in the middle of things so it was nice and quiet, and so close to the wine trail!

We were very impressed with this property. It was the perfect location to celebrate my wife’s birthday and to have her cousin and her husband stay with us. We never left except to buy some donuts. We sat out on the patio overlooking the lake almost all day. The furnishings and amenities were all top-notch, from the Toto bidet to the ninja coffee maker to the king size adjustable bed looking out over the lake. We even saw the “green flash” of the sun setting, 2 bald eagles landed in a tree 25 feet from us, and the smell of grapes was ever present.

Master bedroom was absolutely beautiful w/ large vaulted ceiling, sitting area, double closets, comfortable king bed and amazing views of the lake. I woke up one morning to an Eagle sitting in the tree outside. Ethan was great and responsive to any questions we had and Melissa was wonderful too. Thanks for making our stay memorable! This is one of those homes and settings that you DON’T leave to go to wineries and restaurants. If you do you’ll be less relaxed and wondering why the hell you left a perfect porch overlooking the lake. Also make sure you make time to watch the sunsets. We saw a perfect 10/10 sunset 3/3 nights. We do know how lucky we were with the unusual weather. The kitchen is well stocked so cook there and enjoy the house. As soon as you wonder if you’ll see a bald eagle one or two will fly over your head.

Absolutely perfect home for a couple weekends getaway. Cozy with a fantastic view of the lake from the master bedroom. Owners could not have put more care into their home, very clean, quality appliances, fast Internet and thought into every little detail. Everything was provide from a fully stocked kitchen, blankets in the living room, large screen TV, coffee tea, laundry and bath supplies all the way through to wrapped toothbrushes and paste in case you forgot. We've never stayed somewhere the owners out this much care and thought into their guests happiness and satisfaction. They've set a high bar and we will definitely be back next year.

House was as advertised. Kitchen was stocked with all the equipment you would need. Views from the deck are awesome. My family comes every year to North East, and this is one of the best houses we've stayed in. Thank you to Ethan and Melissa.

We had a wonderful getaway at this lovely house on the lake! Everything was as described or better. We cooked a couple dinners and found the kitchen had everything we needed. The master bedroom is beautiful with its view of the lake and we appreciated the seasonal decor throughout the house. We spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the sound of the waves. We will definitely be back!

Where to start. We stayed for a week, family of two adults and one 7 year old. Property exterior is very well maintained and handsomely landscaped. Parking is in front of property and clearly designated. Checking in procedure was easy and clearly communicated to us in advance, we arrived at exactly 4pm and everything was ready. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the house, everything was clean, neat, and organized. The kitchen is very well equipped, from coffee machines to tea kettles, a full set of non stick cookware, and every utensil you could want, all clean and in great condition. A very well thought out kitchen! Beds in both bedrooms were well made and comfortable, extra linens and blankets were on site. Portable fans were provided, which is a nice touch, in addition to the ceiling fans. We took advantage of the on site washer and dryer, which allowed us to pack lighter and come home with all clean laundry. Host provides great entertainment options, from high speed WiFi to a large tv with streaming capabilities. The deck overlooks Lake Erie with plenty of comfortable seating for those amazing sunsets. We can recommend this house without any reservations, it was so comfortable and nice to come back to in the evenings after visits to Niagara Falls, Freeport Beach, Erie, and so many other local attractions. Amazing VRBO!! Everything was literally perfect. The lake view was somehow even better than in the pictures, and going to sleep and waking up hearing and seeing the lake was awesome-inspiring. There’s a family of eagles nesting nearby and we saw them often! It was breathtaking - each time. The location was a beautiful, short drive to an incredible restaurant (Skunk & Goat), lovely local coffee shop (The Bean), and a winery with shockingly delicious wine (Mazza Winery). The beautiful, longer (30-45 minute) drive to Beamus Point and Chataqua Institute were fantastic, too; set your gps to “avoid highways” for an absolutely gorgeous drive. Make sure to try the Perry’s ice cream shop (omg the best!!!), Lake Life Cafe, and Ellicotville Brewery in Beamus Point, and rent a pontoon boat at the Beamus Point Water Toys. It so much fun! We loved everything about the property and can’t wait to go back!! Many thanks to our hosts!

Perfect house for our vacation.The view of the lake from the deck and master bedroom was perfection! The house has everything you need. The decor was very nice and in keeping with the Lake Erie theme. The neighborhood was very quiet when we were there in early June. Great location, not too far to Erie and in the middle of the wine region. We also took a ride to Jamestown NY. The only thing we wished we had was a hot tub on the deck!! But we did appreciate the lounge chairs!
