Location to The Ark was amazing! Clean & lovely home, fun chandelier theme art & decor. Well equipped. We liked the cozy firepit area & marshmallow sticks, pack n play, & high chair. Beds comfortable, fireplaces beautiful, extra touches fantastic! Nice circular driveway. Helpful notes: The stairs to basement are VERY steep & grandfathered in, as described by owners. (Smaller steps & TRULY steep.) Our 12 year old used the basement room, but even he slipped on stairs! Gorgeous laundry room is in basement. Hauling laundry up & down is a potential safety hazard. There is one railing. Two railings needed--one on both sides for safety. Perhaps a small stackable washer/dryer unit could be put upstairs so folks wouldn't need to go downstairs with laundry? We greatly feared our Aunt falling. There is NO basement bath so people sleeping downstairs must come upstairs at night on steep, small stairs to use bathroom or shower. Basement ceiling is low downstairs--tall people would bump their heads. House close to road, watch small children carefully! A railing at front door stairs would improve safety for elderly people or people hauling luggage or wiggly children inside. House does have perfume smell (incense sticks/Glade plug ins for those chemically sensitive or allergic to scents.) Recommend buying an extra night as no late check out. Great VRBO! This house was amazing, clean, spacious and had everything we needed except we couldn’t find any grilling tools for the grill. I would also recommend a warning about the step down from the kitchen to the dining room. One of my friends almost had a tumble. Overall the stay say great and would stay here again!

This was a beautiful home with a perfect view from the back deck. The large table was great for playing games and enjoying meals together. The house was very clean and well stocked with dishes and cleaning supplies. It is 5 minutes from the Ark. The horseshoe driveway makes it easy to get in and out. We enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit. The house looks exactly like it did in the picture. We had a great time!

We treated my grandparents to a short vacation and visit the Ark encounter. This home provided everything we needed, AND MORE! The home was spotless. Every kitchen gadget you’d need is there. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit in the yard. There were even marshmallow sticks there. It was a perfect home away from home. The hosts truly thought of everything. I highly recommend.

This home is bright, clean, well-appointed and well stocked. Plenty of thought was put into providing everything needed for cooking, down to a variety of spices, pots and pans and utensils; and laundry, including a large laundry room, large washer and dryer, space for folding, laundry detergent. Everything you can think of is provided--just bring people and food!

Property was one of the very best we have stayed in. We usually rent houses when travelling and this was all as advertised and more. Very well cared for with all the amenities you need done to a highchair. Excellent location to Ark and 40 minutes to Creation Museum. Owner was very responsive to questions. Great experience.

The house was very nicely decorated - clean and modern. The extra details the host had were a nice surprise (Kcups for the coffeemaker, phone chargers by the beds, plenty of matching dishes, enough utensils to use so we didn’t have to rewash every single time, s’mores roasting sticks). We used the firepit in the back (you can purchase wood at the local Kroger knockoff store called “Ruler”). Full sized refrigerator, full size washer dryer in basement. If it had been warmer we would have spent more time outside on the back deck - the kids (7 and 5) were fascinated with the owl on the back deck. It was a short drive to the Ark which we were there to visit. All in all I give this place a 10!

Beautiful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, great amenities, well stocked kitchen & bath supplies!!! There are only two things that we would improve upon. One would be to to install a shower bar for the shower. My sister-in-law needed assistance so we bought our own and applied it to the wall. It would’ve been nice to have that there. Also, the door in the downstairs bedroom should have a threshold attached to the bottom because there is a half inch gap where critters could easily get in and out.

What was even more impressive, were the extra touches throughout the rooms - extra soft "snuggle blankets" in each bedroom, coffee pods & tea bags with sugar and creamer, hand soaps & shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms, toasting forks for the fire pit along with two smores kits, Kleenex and ample rolls of toilet paper for a 4 day visit - we were impressed! The beds/bedding were very comfortable and there were many towels. The property is in a rural area overlooking a pond but it is approx. 10 minutes drive to The Ark Encounter, which was the purpose of our visit. It is also within 45 miles of Cincinnati, so we enjoyed the zoo, aquarium and shopping in that city as well. There is not a large number of restaurant options close by, but the kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking which may be desired. We would definitely stay at this property again if we return to the area.

My parents stayed here for their 50th wedding anniversary with other family and everyone raved about this property. So glad that it lived up to the photos! It was even better than they expected. Clean and stocked! The patio overlooking the lush green Kentucky countryside was the highlight. Very easy to book and the information given prior to check-in was clear and detailed. Highly recommend this stay.

Everything was immaculate! The entry way was difficult to get in, it’s almost like you have to give it a jig before it unlocks. And we definitely saw a good share of spiders downstairs and a large one in the living room. But other than that we absolutely loved the scenic backyard and s’mores pit. The floors were so clean. Bedding comfy. We enjoyed the large table for games. Great space. You thought of every possible need.

The views around the house are beautiful with the rolling hills. The house is very well-equipped and organized. We didn't have to hunt around for anything. It's beautifully decorated and spacious. You just feel peace and calm when you walk in. And the checkout procedures are very simple. We've stayed in a lot of VRBOs over the years and this one was the best.

This was our annual high school girlfriend’s weekend away. We graduated in 1975! Our destination was The Ark Encounter. The location of the house was perfect, just a few minutes away. The outside of the house doesn’t match the inside so don’t let it fool you when you pull up. The inside is gorgeous, exceptionally clean, beautifully stocked with everything needed. The bedrooms were so comfortable. Just be careful in the bathrooms as the rugs aren’t non-slip and can slide when you get out of the shower. We enjoyed the deck out back and had a fire in the fire pit both nights we were there. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

We had two teenagers, a 10 year old , 2 fifty year olds and a 75 year old —we were all comfortable and content. My only complaint would be that there is no bathroom in the lower level— even a 1/2 bath would have made it more accommodating for the guests downstairs.

I am only giving this four stars because for us it was difficult not having a bathroom with the downstairs bedroom. This may not apply to others but we were all in our seventies and unfortunately we need a bathroom at night! I am only giving this four stars because for us it was difficult not having a bathroom with the downstairs bedroom. This may not apply to others but we were all in our seventies and unfortunately we need a bathroom at night! Very comfortable and very clean. Was actually even better than the pictures on the VRBO site in that it was more spacious than expected. The stairs leading to the basement bedroom were much better than expected. While each step is not very deep, they were carpeted and worked just fine for us. The comfort feel extends beyond the physical feeling of comfort in that it is so generously equipped with kitchen cookware, dishes, etc, and cleaning supplies, that it only added an additional layer of comfort. It is only a 5 minute drive to the Ark and about a 45 minute drive to the Creation Museum. It truly was all that was advertised and more.

My parents stayed here for their 50th wedding anniversary with other family and everyone raved about this property. So glad that it lived up to the photos! It was even better than they expected. Clean and stocked! The patio overlooking the lush green Kentucky countryside was the highlight. Very easy to book and the information given prior to check-in was clear and detailed. We definately recommend this place. It was perfect for us. My 84 year old Mother, my brother & sister in law & my husband & myself. It was a pefect location, as it was only about 45 minutes from the Creation Museum & 5 minutes from the Ark. Very clean & had everything we needed. The hosts were very quick to respnd & very hospitable.

We stayed 2 nights in Williamstown to visit The Ark and 'Le Chandelier' was a beautiful home just 5-7min away from the Ark. The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable and allowed us to relax and rest and to bond as a family. The host was so gracious and very prompt at responding back to questions. We had a great time here!

This property is located very close to The Ark Encounter. It is convenient to shopping and not far from Cincinnati. We had a spectacular vacation with our granddaughter. The property was very clean and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I texted the owners for information before and during the trip and their reply was immediate and helpful. The view out the back was lovely though we didn’t get to use the fire pit. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

Property was one of the very best we have stayed in. We usually rent houses when travelling and this was all as advertised and more. Very well cared for with all the amenities you need done to a highchair. Excellent location to Ark and 40 minutes to Creation Museum. Owner was very responsive to questions. Great experience.

We were pleased with the house, the cleanliness, all the kitchen and bathroom supplies, the nice back deck with a peaceful view of the hills and a farm pond. The owners communicated promptly with us to help us when we had a question. This is a great place for a family. We visited the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter as well as some of the Lincoln Heritage Trail.

What was even more impressive, were the extra touches throughout the rooms - extra soft "snuggle blankets" in each bedroom, coffee pods & tea bags with sugar and creamer, hand soaps & shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms, toasting forks for the fire pit along with two smores kits, Kleenex and ample rolls of toilet paper for a 4 day visit - we were impressed! The beds/bedding were very comfortable and there were many towels. The property is in a rural area overlooking a pond but it is approx. 10 minutes drive to The Ark Encounter, which was the purpose of our visit. It is also within 45 miles of Cincinnati, so we enjoyed the zoo, aquarium and shopping in that city as well. There is not a large number of restaurant options close by, but the kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking which may be desired. We would definitely stay at this property again if we return to the area.

The home is beautiful. Very comfortable. One thing i noticed is its hard to get out on the road because the trees need to be trimmed where you can see better for safety reasons. Other than that it was wonderful..

The property is exactly as described on the website. We had an awesome stay! We used it as our base for exploring The Ark, Kentucky Horse Park, and rural Kentucky. Lexington is just a short drive away; so you can have rural and city staying at this property. We explored the local shops in downtown Williamstown. We also explored Georgetown; short drive away. The only surprise with the location was how busy the road is that goes by the house. Vehicles driving by all day and night. It wouldn't stop me from choosing this property; just took us by surprise. The deck and backyard are very nicely landscaped. There is also a firepit. We had a very enjoyable stay!

We treated my grandparents to a short vacation and visit the Ark encounter. This home provided everything we needed, AND MORE! The home was spotless. Every kitchen gadget you’d need is there. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit in the yard. There were even marshmallow sticks there. It was a perfect home away from home. The hosts truly thought of everything. I highly recommend.

Plenty of thought was put into providing everything needed for cooking, down to a variety of spices, pots and pans and utensils; and laundry, including a large laundry room, large washer and dryer, space for folding, laundry detergent. We’ve enjoyed many rentals, but this rental was just awesome. The owners have carefully provided everything needed to enjoy your stay. We were extra close to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. The local hamburger place was worth the time for sure. Thanks for making this place extra special. The house was very nicely decorated - clean and modern. The extra details the host had were a nice surprise (Kcups for the coffeemaker, phone chargers by the beds, plenty of matching dishes, enough utensils to use so we didn’t have to rewash every single time, s’mores roasting sticks). We used the firepit in the back (you can purchase wood at the local Kroger knockoff store called “Ruler”). Full sized refrigerator, full size washer dryer in basement. If it had been warmer we would have spent more time outside on the back deck - the kids (7 and 5) were fascinated with the owl on the back deck. It was a short drive to the Ark which we were there to visit. All in all I give this place a 10!

Beautiful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, great amenities, well stocked kitchen & bath supplies!!! There are only two things that we would improve upon. One would be to to install a shower bar for the shower. My sister-in-law needed assistance so we bought our own and applied it to the wall. It would’ve been nice to have that there. Also, the door in the downstairs bedroom should have a threshold attached to the bottom because there is a half inch gap where critters could easily get in and out.

The home was clean and decorated beautifully, but our favorite part as a family was sitting in the back patio in the mornings for coffee and in the evenings to wind down. We loved the rolling hills and watching the dear, prairie dogs and fireflies. Gods creation on display morning and night!

Beautiful property with rolling hills. The home is gorgeous and easy to move around in. We spent a lot of time on the back deck looking at the scenery. Every amenity was made available to us. And the homeowners went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable in their lovely chandelier home.
